- A Bernalillo Police officer is in hot water once again. Officer Jeramie Nevarez was at the center of KRQE Investigation, captured on lapel video after he stopped a family at gunpoint as they were rushing to try and save their dog’s life.

This is what happens when society defends and turns against law enforcement. The background checks loosen and people like this are unfortunately employed as LEO officers. There are still a lot of good LEOs out there, but the big cities need to hit their numbers. So, they overlook the "red flags" that would have previously disqualified applicants. Now they have to deal with the issues that come with their decisions.

Yup...the Lying Police Chief of ShytHole Loveland CO (Karen Garner incident) was happily hired by Prescott Valley AZ to be thier chief. In no other profession (with maybe the exception of being a priest) can one abuse or cover up harm to the public and then get hired or relocated, no problem.

yup, AZ is horrible. A cop kicked a handcuffed man, tazed him a dozen times, pulled down the guys shorts and tazed him in the nuts at the end. No jail, no parole, the judge said losing his job was punishment enough and let him plea to misdemeanor disorderly conduct (for tazing a handcuffed man in the testicles.)

The traffic stop was a major clue for his leaders but they ignored it as part of their “protect our own” mentality.

I think most police officers are given a psychological evaluation. I used to be a City Clerk and I happen to know that several of our officers, and firemen, too, failed the exam but were still hired! One threatened to shoot someone he worked with but while cleaning his gun he accidentally shot himself in the foot. He was never held to account and eventually he became the Fire Chief. How scary is that?

I haven’t seen pepper balls or bean bag guns or tasers in a pretty damn good minute a pistol aimed at the chest not the legs is hella overkill for a drunk or crackhead. There definitely are some situations where they are gonna need a pistol here but Iv watched a few videos where the individual barely even got a warning or just tried to punch a cop n got a 5 round special. There been 8 days out of the last 10 with separate police shootings

No arrest, just constant harassment, cited me for statutes that my 1964 car doesn't have to comply with, gave me 7 tickets in one stop and 5 tickets in another stop , follows me around until i just pull in somewhere and stop , i hired an attorney that tore his ass up in court , and Judge Aliniz admonished him for twice improperly citing me , he tries to escalate a simple traffic stop with threats of jail and towing my car, im 66 years old .
