This is a great review, thanks! I've been waiting to see some reviews on this one. This bible ticks so many boxes, I just wish that they offered this without the red letter.
Got my hardcover the other day. Absolutely LOVE it!!! The ribbons are such a nice added touch ( better than Cambridge lol ). No ghosting either. I got this Bible to do art journaling.
I love this Bible, but as I've learned more about the situation with human rights violations of Christians (and other religions) within China, I find I cannot bring myself to buy a Bible printed in China. This exact Bible is my favorite layout, but the China thing is a deal-breaker for me. Zondervan and Thomas Nelson can just as easily print Bibles in South Korea to keep costs low, there's no excuse to print them in China. This is my opinion, of course, your views may vary. If we voted with our dollars, these companies would switch back to ethical publishers like Crossway did.
I’m guilty of buying Bibles from China, but I’m definitely trying to buy less things from China. It is an astonishing irony that Bibles are censored in China, yet most publishers get their Bibles made in China. Agreed, we need to start voting with our dollars and it wouldn’t hurt if these Bible RUclips reviewers would bring attention to this issue.
Excellent review as always, brother! I actually prefer a good hardback cover, Bible, however, they’re usually cheaply made and not as durable as the imitation leather editions. IMO… Nelson/Zondervan has yet to produce a high quality hardcover. I’m impatiently waiting for the day for Nelson Publishing to produce a text only NKJV (without cross references) single column edition.
Hi Diane. They're sent as review copies. Unfortunately, they don't come in large print. They do have a large-print wide margin, but it doesn't have a lot of margin space.

If it gets printed China, there’s a chance someone might meet God through printing our Bible.
