'It's almost like a fairytale:' IHFA savings program helps mother of 9 buy first house

Moving into a new home is hard work and is often stressful, but you wouldn’t know it watching JaLynne. The Idaho Falls woman’s excitement was impossible to miss as she and her friends' hauled boxes and furniture into her first home.
JaLynne’s journey to homeownership began when she reached out to Idaho Housing and Finance. The mother of nine children says she was stuck and needed help to get back on her feet. With some hard work and help from our Family Self-Sufficiency and HOPES programs, JaLynne was able to set goals for employment, education and home ownership. Watch her journey to owning her first place.
