Iowa pulls you into a rock fight and then sucks the life out of you ever so slowly. They're good at that, they have the W's to prove it too. Its a strategy that has worked well for them. I wish Iowa had an offense like USC or Oklahoma. (I'll bet USC wishes they had a defense like Iowa) I don't think Iowa can suck the life out of Michigan. Will be interesting to see them try and what methods they use to do it. Same goes for a bowl game against another 10-2 team. But by the time bowl games get here there may be so many top notch players that opt out, Iowa may get an 11th win. All that being said I am looking forward to a new OC. For my sanity Beth Goetz did the right thing when she made her decision.
But for today it is oooh so enjoyable seeing all these arrogant Neb fans head's explode.
Iowa cannot put up offensive yds. They need to get rid of their HC. Iowa unfortunately will get trounced in any bowl they go to if they play a team w an offense

I'm an Iowa fan but give Nebraska props. They are well by no doubt. One of the better 5 win teams in college football. I have no doubt that they're gonna make a bowl game sooner or later. I have no doubt they're gonna turn into a surprisingly scary team here in the near future

It sucks today, but I think there’s a future for the Huskers with Purdy. Good game Iowa, you won, would have liked to see overtime, but it is what it is.

8 years and can't even make a bowl? There are like 500 bowl games. Nebraska just lost 4 straight to at best mediocre teams. What makes me laugh is NU fired Solich after a 10 win season. Now NU wins 5 games and the fans "like the direction". Truly cannot make this crap up. If Rhule can win 6 he will get a 200 million extension.
@@drn13355 i definitely agree about firing both Solich and Pelini, should have never gotten rid of them, but it is what it is. I saw a lot of things I liked, (and definitely didn’t) this season. It’s a year 1 rebuild, got to take the good with the bad; but I like our D, Purdy seems like he’s our guy moving forward, and we got to get our receivers and line figured out.
It was definitely a disappointing season, we should have won more of the 1 score games, but I do believe we will get there. We can either be optimistic, or think the sky is falling, might as well be hopeful 🤷🏻♂️

Bo was never the problem, most fans could appreciate he was very rough around the edges, but appreciated that he clearly gave a shit. it was Eichorst (his AD) that replaced him with Reilly, and it was all downhill from there.

Only in the midwest would people sit in 20° weather to watch two teams that just this year realized the forward pass is now used in the game of football. As you saw both teams have no idea how to use the forward pass to their advantage but at least we saw both teams try it a few times. Those are two of the worst offensive football teams in the history of the sport.
Deduct 10 seconds from the game clock as you watch this vid. Don’t know if outcome would have been different after OT, but let the kids decide that and not an adult’s inability to do his job-run the clock.
We still don’t know what would’ve happened in regulation if the game clock was managed correctly. The big question is why didn’t any official and/or booth realize this?
It was perfect that the clock issue happened in Nebraska and at a time when it was advantageous for Nebraska. Whether the clock operator did it on purpose or not, it was quite poetic how it turned out.
I dont want to hear it. I'm still upset the officials allowed Colorado a 5th down against Mizzou after Mizzou stopped them on the goal line on 4th down. It would have knocked Colorado out of contention for the National Championship, which they won. @@Michael-Boyer

Either Iowa is a complete garbage team with 10 miraculous wins or Nebraska is a pretty good team playing A LOT of backups at key positions and has only 5 wins.
Iowa lost their QB1, their TE1 and 2, their best play maker, TONS of talent lost to injury this season. It is miraculous that they’ve won with what they’ve lost. Not that they were some powerhouse before but any other top team that loses those positions and they’re likely not winning 10 games either.
