Moonrakers - Grimsby Fisher Lads

Written by Jon Bennett, this is the opening track of the latest Moonrakers album "Green to Gold", In the late 19th/early 20th century boys as young as 14 were taken from the workhouses and used as cheap labour for the booming fishing industry. They were poorly paid and resented by the skilled fishermen because they kept wages low. The song is to be used in Series 2 of the BBC television drama series 'Beyond Paradise'.
