thanks for the work/production and sharing these, bottling the touring experience into something that has such a cinematic feel is no small feat, kudos 🙌
Joel!! I'm running out of compliments, but still wanna comment (for the algorithm as well haha) these videos have been nothing but a pleasure to watch, even though I don't really know anything about audio (tried at uni but wasn't for me) it is still sick what you actually do on tour. I'm a video person through and through, so my brain instatly analyzes edits - that just turns on automatically. I notice little things in the edit here and there that I love so much - the message bubbles, were a really nice touch^^ I am so excited for future videos, especially the ones from Australia and the beaches there
Hey Dude, nice video as always, i was wondering what is the little box that goes between the vocal mic on the stand and the cable? You can see at minute 10:47?
Joel, have you had any video editing experience before? Or someone is helping you with editing process? Because the quality of the overall content is just amazing
Thanks for the kind words. I learned some very basic stuff in high school and helped edit amateur music videos years ago. Aside from that it’s just something I’ve always had fun doing for myself
Love the dichotomy between the chill lofi beats then cutting to the live audio and it's HEAVY and its ROCK, then it's right back to the chill 🤣
We all need a little peace from time to time haha

@@joel_adamsFOHsound absolutely, man, makes them fun to watch too - it really shows
Sick. Damn I'm bummed I didn't go to the San Diego show, I live in San Diego and still haven't been to The Sound. Cheers!
I would attend shows there any chance you can get. Great sounding room
Load In Simulator: Coming Soon to Nintendo Switch
** with bonus game Green Room Finder
😂 I’d have top score on load in simulator but clearly fail at finding green rooms

That’s an Optogate. It uses an infrared sensor to turn the mic on and off depending on someone standing in front of the mic or not.
