Have a nice day!
Richie's solo felts like it's crying. So much emotion!
They’re both insanely good, but when you listen to the way they both play it it’s clear who learnt the song and who wrote the song.
exato!!!!
Richie qdo toca sua guitarra tem algo muito especial, ele entrega com paixão do fundo da alma enquanto o Phil é tecnicamente muito bom.
💯
Nicely said.
It’s true. Phil’s is trying to honor Ritchie not rip in his own style. Also good to hear them making mistakes so you know it’s live 03:57.
let's keep in mind while comparing them, that richie WROTE the solo
awww hell yeahhhh🔥🔥
Not forgetting Richies voice …. it’s excellent 👍🏻
That's what im thinking bro, Richie wrote de solo. Phil X its really good, but Richie wrote that master piece bro.
Richie plays this with his heart and soul and tears in his eyes. Phil brings a great cover.
You put it in the right words.
Because Phil isnt gonna let the fans down and hasnt played on 10 records of Jovi classics yet.
@@cynicalidealist2301 as a guitarist phil is better, but sambora is bon jovi's integral part.
Well said. Phil doesn’t add the soul to it.
Maybe when Phil has written the parts in future his heart may be more in it. But jons voice is struggling so not sure how sustainable it all is.
Richie to Bon Jovi is like Slash to Guns N Roses !
Like a lead guitarist to a band. Truth.
Yeah. Don't have a dog in this fight but you're right. Not sure about X's vocals, but Richie's voice was also key to the BJ sound, I'd say.
Kevin Storer .....................
Uh no. Sambora is a great guitarist. Slash is sloppy shit
Except richie is way better than slash but love both i would love to see tracii guns in gnr since he wss the original lol
The passion and magic Richie delivers can not be compared with tecnique.
Agree
Richie plays with his soul and heart!
Nothing compares to the way he plays.
He had quemical in Bon Jovi!!!
And we fans, miss it a lot.
Chemistry?
@@Valandor_Celestial_Warlock yes it is
I must confess that I missed him in the beginning but now it is over and he spoiled himself what is a pity but "the show must go on". I hope one day he will get over it.
The one and only, Richie Sambora, the great voice, the best guitar and backing vocals ever in rock history, the great song writer, the biggest solos and so strong playing live. This is the man I have followed since I was a boy. Always knew he was a a huge part of the best band ever. So underrated but always my favorite, hands down for Richie. Phil, thanks for filling the space, you rock and you are so talented, but man, Richie is in another league. His magic, style and feeling are unique.
Totalmente de acuerdo, Jon tenía muy buena voz, pero sin la magia de RICHIE, el éxito de BJB no hubiese sido el mismo.
Obviously you have never seen Steven Maynard "The Riffmaster" Clark live - 'Gods of War', 'Too Late For Love', 'Bringing On The Heartbreak', 'Photograph, 'Wasted', 'Saturday Night' etc, etc etc.
Steve was responsible for 90% of the lyrics, his melodies, harmonies, hooks, bends, his loose hands with his Kahler, Steve was a genius, live he blew roofs off stadiums.
Leppard since he passed away has had arguably only mid success commercially, apart from imo around 5 songs they have never recovered from Steve death - hence their live gigs, Steve gifted them a staggering catalogue.
Leppard [and this is amazing really for a non US UK band] are, along with Van Halen - the only hard rock band to have [2] different records RIAC Certified 'Diamond'.
1. 'Pyromania' has to date sold 25+ million units in the US alone; and
2. 'Hysteria' has to date sold 25+ million units in the US alone.
JBJ + Joe Elliot have been extremely good mates since the 80's. Sadly JBJ's voice has imo gone - Elliot's voice is 'raspier' - he cannot reach the levels he once did but given his age that's just the way it is obviously, but Elliot still can sing bloody well.
Although I loathe JBJ's endless anti 45 rhetoric, and his support for Democrats given what they have inflicted on Americans - I truly hope his voice gets back to a level that he feels is good enough to tour.
And I also would LOVE to see Richie back too, even if as stated am not a real BJ fan, I 'm'however a fan of RS !!! And I 'do' love several of their songs, anyone who says they don't is imo insane !!!
Richie is a VERY different player to Steve - RS for me, and NEVER being a BJ fan, I have always liked Richie. When he left, to see Phil X just cannot play the 'way' Richie did, like Steve, his guitar playing bleeds genuine emotion.
NOT being critical of X, just a subjective opinion he cannot replicate RS - just as Vivian cannot ever replicate Steve, or the kabuki clown Tommee Thayer can never replicate the genuine guitar icon Ace Frehley.
Thanks for the post !!!
I feel you brother
Only one thing I know: The keyboard player doesn't age !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
😂 So true. He looks identical since I first saw him live live in 89
Fredy IKR????? I LOVE David Bryan. I hope he keeps those blonde curls FOREVER!!! I would love to know what his IQ is. He was debating between Juilliard and med school after high school when Jon convinced him that it might last a few weeks. LOL, look at them now!!!
Vampire from Jersey man!!! Drinks Jager Bombs instead of blood thou.
@jon gibson Me too!
That's because they spent all that time with the Ents and grew taller and shit.......
All the respect in the world to Phil X but Richie is and always will be the most underrated guitarist in the history of music
Bahahahaha yeah ok. Go home dude. Your drunk.
@@genesisfan029 I've been home since early March mate 😂
Being a good musician isn't just about technical proficiency, again and again Richie has composed amazing guitar breaks and solos that have carried Bon Jovi songs to greatness.
There’s a reason Richie is The King of Swing. He’s the GOAT
That guitar solo is one of may fave solos ever!! Its part of an amazing song!! Ritchie....legend!!
Bon Jovi without Ritchie Sambora will never be the same band ever.
I wish they can get over whatever issues they have and get back together and make some great music again. just my personal opinion
That is true
Marc N If you don't know what the "issues" were/are, you aren't a Bon Jovi fan. There were no fights, Richie "just didn't go to work". He left the band after about 20 shows in the Because We Can tour. They hadn't even left the states yet. Richie said he absolutely needed to spend time with his 16yo daughter. What that translated into was him recording a solo album (which didn't do too well) and hooking up with guitar legend Orianthi, taking over her tour, and having all the sex he could possibly want. The closest they've come to being together again was when Richie showed up for their R&R HOF induction. Everybody in the band whose been there forever treated Richie like a long lost friend, but it was obvious he was out of his comfort zone since he just up and left the guys without so much as a goodbye. That pretty much sums it up. To this day, Jon denies any form of a fight or argument, he just didn't show up. That was when he made a frantic call to Phil X.
@sha broussard I think Phil does a GREAT job. They can't compare the 2 on their last album. That was all new music with Phil instead of Richie.
@sha broussard but the last albums do not sound good,
@@charlythor7836 you are right they sound better, a new fresh sound.
Most underrated Bon Jovi song. And that solo is absolute pure gold. Richie nails it, Phil does a great job, but I feel he's always trying to catch up. Impossible to emulate. Anyway, I know that solo too well Keep The Faith was my first cassette tape ever.
True, because Richie is Richie
@@ianamaia8480 that's a fact and it's not Bon Jovi without Richie Sambora
Absolutely agree that it is a thoroughly and truly underrated song. Probably too long for radio airtime, and the song without the solos is pointless. Love how it showcases the drums, the piano and the guitar, too.
Mine too how bout that! November 3 1992
I’ve loved Bon Jovi for 35 years, and I know Jon had to move on with band, but Richie is pure gold and I love him and miss him like crazy. This video shows what’s missing. Richie is a musician with style, heart, soul and Bon Jovi in his veins. The chemistry between Jon and Richie was true and magnetic. We saw it at the R&RHOF. I hope we get to see it again!
As someone who loves Bon Jovi since 2005 (Richie inspired me to play the Guitar when I was 14) I second this comment. 🙂
Phil is an outstanding, international level artist, no question. However, Richie is in a class with very few. Sambora--hands down.
Richie is one of the most under rated guitarist of all time... all his solos fit their song perfectly and he has such a classic, bluesy feel to his phrasing! But I gotta say it Phil plays this solo very well & is obviously a very skilful guitarist... would like to hear more if his playing before Bon Jovi. I haven’t really listened to BJ much since Sambora left, which is a shame, as Jon is a wonderful song writer.
I know!!!!! its sad to think how underrated he is :(
Look at all music even RnB after around like 2001 or 2002, blues was the basis of almost EVERY tune out on the radio. Break almost any song down before computer driven BS took over and you'll find blues as the basis. Letting computers perfect everything had killed music. Take a metronome, start some of this biggest songs and anthems in rock for example. Let it click through the whole song and watch the timings show the human factor. It will at times slow down and speed up. Look up Rick Beato on youtube, he does an experiment and explains it all showing some Led zep and other songs which are considered timeless classics with a metronome. Then do the same with even rock after 2002. These days theres a job in the studio to listen and fix everything that's not 100% on time. You remove the human factor in it and its just sounds wrong. Richie comes from a massive blues background. He grew up playing old school blues. Phil is a technical player who grew up in the perfection era. Both amazing players, but Phil will never have the title of a guitar hero as we knew it back in the day, nor will any super technical player that's currently out there. Ask yourself, why was Clapton, BB King, Jimmy Page all standing out? BB King can express more emotion in 1 note than any new guitarist these days can in a million. Prove me wrong...
Chris Turner I agree with most of that. Another of my favourite guitarist is Gary Moore, who for me puts more emotion into his playing then anybody else. But don’t disrespect modern players too much... everything changes. Kotzen, Gilbert & bettencourt are also wonderful guitarist, that could be described as technical players. And of course Vie is a ground breaking guitarist, that sounds like nobody else and who is constantly re-inventing playing or certainly was.
Check out some Phil X and the Drills and get your face melted. Super aggro Foo Fighters with a better sense of humor.
But an absolutely awesome song writer with Richie…as they wrote almost all these songs together!
It's fun hearing them back to back. No need to compare. No one can play Ritchie's solos like he does, and the same goes for Phil X'. Both amazing guitarists.
Both are top Players. But this is Richie`s Solo. To compare fair, Richie should Play a Solo from Phil.
Martin Ellenberger Unfortunately, X doesn’t have any songs or solos of his own that are very well known.
good point.
And that would still definitely sound like Richie's!
To all the Phil X haters... I’m old enough to have ordered Bon Jovi’s 1st release on LP from guitarist magazine back pages and am a guitarist of 40 years and grew up with Richies playing.
He was awesome, but he dropped the ball in recent years... I love Phil and he gets better and better. Technically a better player now than from his early days with Bon Jovi.
He fits in well now and you can’t compare the two.
Just enjoy them for what they both are... great singers, guitarists and musicians in general.🎸
Smokestack Studios Gembrook especially when you consider for Phil’s first show saving performance, he learned the entire set on the plane flying from Cali to I think Toronto! Phil is not pretentious or fake, he loves rock music and has an outstanding ear and touch. I’ve n very been much of a Bon Jovie fan (in HS when they hit it big), but I do enjoy the energy Phil brings now.
Great jon found someone to take over from richie it was unfortunate what happened between richie and jon pity he left half way through tour bot only did he let Jon down it was the whole band and all the fans who prob saved for ages to buy tickets but in the end it was his decision even if it was maybe not the right one but we have ro move on and support the band now
I so agree with you but.... Let me say that Phil should use his ear much more carefully at this solo.... Yes I believe the next year's he will be better and better but on this video unfortunately Phil's solo hit so far away from sampora... Sad to say cause at the end of the day as a fun of the group I would love somehow the same sound if not a much better one.
I grew up listening to Bon Jovi and have to say that some of their albums have been a bit too corporate for me. Most of the albums between New Jersey and This House were pretty bland honestly and felt like the same songs just with different lyrics.
But I don't need to take anyone's side. People want different things and I love Richie's work including with RSO. I even think he's a better singer than Jon and Jon is more of a businessman, writer and showman. But this isn't high school and I don't feel the need to show any loyalty by discarding one or the other - unless they are going to give me royalties to do so (and they aren't).
Heart > Technique bub, that's why you see no guitar heroes anymore. Great technical players everywhere, zero heart in any.
I have been a Bon Jovi fan since the early 80’s. Up until the turn of the century. I have been to about 10 concerts and owned everything imaginable. With that said, Bon Jovi will never be the same without Richie.... ever. Not to discredit Phil, Richie poured blood into this song. Keep in mind, Richie’s arthritis from playing 40 + years can’t be compared to by a young talented guy. David and Tico can cover for whoever gets on stage but true fans hear it. Jon can keep making music but without Richie, it’s never the same. His guitar lies bleeding for now.
Phil X is the man! There is no one else that can both put themselves in another’s shoes and put that much effort into recreating Richie’s work. They found the right man for the job! Kudos to Phil X!
Richie is the man. No one can play this solo like him.
The chemistry between Jon and Richie was phenomenal, even seen in this video. Even the fans were moved by this solo, and Jon has already acknowledged that Richie is a great guitarist (there's a video on RUclips). I myself every time I hear this song with Richie's solo I cry. This video showed a lot of everything, as we noticed.
Yes it is 🤓👍❤️
When you are in a band for 30 years and co wrote all the hit songs in the prime... no one can replace you, not even god.
Phil X plays better than God.
Not all the hit songs. Richie didn't co-write Runaway, Living in Sin, Blaze of Glory (adopted by the band), Bed of Roses, I Believe, Dry County, Always, etc...
@@Valandor_Celestial_Warlock playing better doesnt mean u r the image of the band. Replace slash with steve vai, u wont call it gnr
@@jp3813 he played the gutar solos that are integral part of those songs.
@@GodsOfWar666 All the band members played integral parts of each song except for Runaway (besides Hugh McDonald) & Blaze of Glory. But the OP was still wrong about Richie co-writing ALL (every single one of) the hits.
Sambora ALL DAY LONG. That band isn’t the same since he left
Phil X is a superb player and I love him, but Richie put the emotion and excellent phrasing into this song , hats off to both of them.
Richie can never be replaced. Period.
No disrespect to the band but they replaced Richie with 2 guitarist and a singer....the magic between Jon and Richie will never be replicated.
Richie is a part of Bon Jovi's soul...
Phils solo is technically more dynamic and audibly more appealing. However, when Richie plays his solos, you see how Richie feels it and its contagious. My 2 cents.
Obviously. They should have compared that one with Richie's solo from Hamburg 93 or the one at Wembley 95. Phil is great, but Richie ranges vastly.
Phil does a good job playing Richie's songs...😐
I'll like Sambora's style more so he wins
oh yeah and what style is that exactly?
Não se pode comparar o original com o cover. Richie é único, impecável incomparável e inconfundível.
The nod goes to Richie. That Les Paul tone sounds much “bigger” and part of the song. Phil’s did a great job but the solo has less feel for sure.
And is more in tune...
Well said.
This is one of the few greatest solos ever written as it adds a great story to the song and probably makes the performer feel like improvisig. İf you are a guitarist and still dont feel hunger to play this solo then you dont have any blues or soul. Phil has it and probably he is thankful to richie for this solo.
These Days was the first Bon Jovi's record that I bought with my dad's money, love U dad, I was just a kid, love Richie ever since.
Richie Sambora the best!! Simply the best!!
Richie Sambora all day long... Phil X is great, no doubt.. but Richie's soloing and fills just fit perfectly with the song
W niektórych piosenkach brakuje poprostu drugiego głosu w śpiewie jaki dawał Sambora...to nadawało klimatu i nastrój.
It’s not fair for Phil haha, Richie is in the 28th place of the 100 best of history.
The tone... expressiveness, every note in the indicated place
In my opinion, Phil is not enough
There’s two guys doing what one guy did for more than 30 years doing history, and no, they aren’t enough yet
Richie come back please.
You realize those rankings are nonsense, right? Phil is a better player. Period. It's Ritchie's own fault that Phil is up there and not him.
@@vonmilash823 more technical doesn't mean a better guitarist
Richie wins. Phil is a great player but Richie’s sounds more complex and magic.
Richie IS magic
Something that most don't understand is even the architect of the solos (Ritchie) has to learn them. In many cases solos are not written, they are improvised. When recorded you can do as many takes as you want until it works. Once it's recorded and mastered, the architect has to learn it in order to play it live.
I'm sure some fans were disappointed to find one of the key members NOT on the stage. But if they had ears at all, they'd know by the end of the show that they got a good band for their concert buck! Phil X is pretty damned phenomenal!
Richie is definitely the brains behind the operation
They are huge shoes to fill, and Phil does an bloody admirable job. Saw him recently in Sydney and he rocked.
Exactly. I saw him in Montreal and he was really awesome! So full of energy and having fun.
same here. 2013 and 2018 🙂 good nights too
And, if I'm correct, the video of Phil X was filmed during the 2013 What About Now Tour. He's a lot more comfortable with the songs: he's changed some solos and, although I love Richie's solos, Phil's are pretty good too.
Phil is full of energy and positivity. You can tell by the smile on his face. Sadly, he's the best replacement for Richie. I said sadly, because no one wanted to see Richie leaving the mothership.
I saw them in Melbourne late last year. Phil does play all songs great. In fact some of his subtle modifications also sound great. But, the solos have a certain feel to them which is Richie’s. and that cannot be copied. I realised this when they played Bed of Roses. It just did not sound like the way it is supposed to sound. Played perfectly though. That’s the thing I’m talking about. Richie’s personality will always be missing. We just have to live with that. It’s fine. I’ll take it I guess.
Richie has magic in his hands :) and it transmits. But it's also the body movements, his heart and soul.
You can't deny this Phil X is a great guitar player, but your not telling me the second performance of the whole bands performance sounded better than the first.. Richie has more soul and a bigger sound overall..
Richie way better and the big differents between both is that one invented the songs, the other just covered.
Well said I concur with u.the same can be said about Kirk hammett on kill em all 4 songs dave Mustaine co wrote on because he was the lead Guitarist 1st
I don't know....the dude that plays Stairway to Heaven's solo on non the less "The Kennedy Center Honors Led Zeppelin"....hands Jimmy Page his ass in a box with a nice bow on it.
@@contact1araya - It just goes to show that we all have different tastes. I thought that was an extremely poor version of the solo and didn't reach the level of Page at all. Better than the version that Page did during the live aid in 85 with Phil Colins drumming (And stuffing them up) though.
He went through a bad stage, but in his peak, he was brilliant.
I love Phil x. He still has that child like enthusiasm when it comes to play. Actually when it comes to the guitar in general. He always seems to have fun and that's what it's ALL ABOUT
All these solos are Richie made .. a big salute to Richie but phil also a great guitarist of all time
Richie é fantástico
Phil doesn't change much and I love that about him. He stays true to the original tune🔥👍🏼
Two great guitarists with out a doubt, however one original, one doing his best. Great musicians. 👍🏻👍🏻
Richie sem dúvida nenhuma é o melhor.
Richie es el creador, Phill solo un gran interprete
Yeah, Richie can't be replaced, simple as that!
Phil X easier to spell and he's a One Man Band that can step in and fill anyone's spot in a band and not miss a beat! John himself could have sat on the sidelines and let Phil take care of the vocals!!
Absolutely, 100% Sambora! Silly comparing really.
Jon bon Jovi es el cerebro en Bon Jovi y Richie Sambora era el corazón. Desde que no está le falta el alma al grupo. Con Phil x no la tiene. Los ví a los dos en vivo y se nota la diferencia
The stile of Mr. Ritchie Sambora for me, is much better
Richie Sambora was and will forever be the One and Only BON JOVI lead guitar. He has also co-written most of their biggest hits so, how could anyone take his place in the hearts of millions of fans ?
Richie's longer pauses in between notes are what make this solo amazing for me, and the other dude is always rushing to the next note
They both are great.
Sambora is the original feel playing all notes with his soul but Phil is the professional guitarist who can play all rock songs on this earth with his real rocker's heart.
richie is great i listened to slippery when wet the other day every song and his playing in every single song is fantastic go have a listen if you havnt for a while.his guitaring on every song is 100.
Sambora toda la vida un dotado total de melodias
Both are great...but for me.....Always Richie 😍
Phil doesn't feel every note like the King of Swing.
Richie forever...the best
“The King Of Swing” Phil’s a great a player, but he doesn’t have that bluesy “feel”. That’s not his background, so he’s not going to play like Richie. It’s not “his” song either, so of course Richie wins by a mile. Jon’s vocals sucked in both versions though!!!
Richie is amazing...
Richie is still God and Phil just human...
PhilX it's the boss
Never ever....Richies solos are unique and you can clearly hear his passion in every single note. The Solos from the latest Album are all boring and sound same
If Ritchie gets rid of cousin it in high heels and gives up the drink or drugs he could own the world but til then he is just an arse whole
@@jimking3288 Whos Cousin It? lol
Mistake at 3:57 shows that he is still human haha
Ritchie Sambora is a legend...period !!!!
Richie forever ♥
Richie Sambora el mejjor siempre
Richie es mejor!!!
Nadie supera el solo que hace en 1995!!!
Richie is pure magic.
Given that Richie wrote and played this part, I would expect him to be better, and play the parts closer to the original. Phil X did a good job, and the audio quality of the two parts also favored RS. Unnecessary comparison of two great guitar players.
Both solos sounds great! In a dream world of mine, both of them could be on stage at the same time. Sharing the solos between them, but with Richie being more in front vocally backing up Jon even more now that Jon's voice in't as strong as before... But that is just gonna be a dream I know.. But wish they play Dry County so Phil can shine in the solo when they play in Denmark :)
Dry County is rare unfortunatelly (1% chance on this tour). This song is on spot #1 on my wishlist. (I'd rather see them playing this song instead of Livin' on a prayer for example).
One thing : the band isnt the same since richie left and no one would ever be as good as him he is so underrated even though he is one of the best musicians of all time (my personal favorite and the best to my eyes)
Richie🔥🔥🔥🔥
I have to give it to Ritchie - every note was so crisp and the emotion was felt from his playing. There's always an emotional attachment to music that you've written yourself and obviously that's replicated in your playing. Both guitarist are masters of their trade - but only one will be forever Bon Jovi. ❤
This is Richie's song. He plays with more emotion than Phil in this song, but I still think Phil is 10x the guitarist.
And you'd be right sir!
10x??? Your dreaming.
Phil's bends were in tune. Not so much for Richie.
Richie created this solo. Besides, he uses Les Paul or Strato in this song. There's no doubt: the winner is.... Richie Sambora!
Ambos são feras, mas RICHIE É O MELHOR, baby.
Phil X criatura, Richie criador. X entrega um solo maravilhoso! Mas é impossível ser superior ao criador! Solo maravilhoso! SAVE THESE DAYS!!!!
Richie's Les Paul sounds substantially better than Phil's guitar. Phil's guitar sounds over compressed.
Exactly
You are comparing a good sounding vid to a crappy cam shot...
@@erpece So what exactly was the point of this video, if we're not supposed to compare how they sound?
@@godsgifttotheinternet4538 Exactly, this video is pointless...sorry but Richie must have been drunk in this show, bends are consistently out of intonation and some flat out mistakes. Check out 3:57 where he is a complete fail. Richie is a great player, but if you are saying he is better than Phil X based on this video you're not listening.
Give that award to the King of Swing 👑
Sorry but it ain't got the same sting without the King of Swing..
Richie, the best of the best...
seriously!!!! how can you compare ...Ritchie hands down
Mr. Bluesman sin dudas!!!! El mejor!
This comparison is of course not fair. Richie is the original. But Phil is an awesome player and an awesome musician. And he just didn't "copy" the solos. He played it with the same "vibe" and with passion. It is not just playing the same notes without soul. He did it extremely well.
Phil's only problem is, that he will be always considered as a cover guitarist in this band. But actually that's a problem in the heads of the "hardcore fans".
I agree with you. ABSOLUTELY.
From South KOREA.
Totally agree, seen them twice live 1st time with Richie and 2nd with Phil both awesome guitarists in their own right. Im also a big Def leopard fans and it's the same with their fans comparing Vivian Campbell to Steve Clarke just not fair both awesome guitarists.
how can you compare these two? Richie is the one who create this solo
Jon's vocals are stretched thin, farewell tour can't be far off.
Richie won. Good effort Phil.
Thats awesome Richie
Reading through the comments it seems most fans of the band pick Ritchie and most guitar players picked Phil. In my opinion as both I felt Ritchie had a better tone and feel but was a little lazy with the note choices at times and more predictable. Phil's guitar sounded a bit thin and ptichy but he was more dynamic and aggressive. I think some of this is due to audio and some due to gear choices.
And maybe due to the fact that Phil is a more natural metal choice while Ritchie was the blues guy of a rock band a category that Bon Jovi listeners listened to in excess.
Agree to the opinion though.
Damn, it was Ritchie who sounded pitchy to me. Everything else I agree.
I think most of the comments reflect this accurately. Richie wrote these songs, this solo. he plays it with emotion and soul. There is a part that he brings that can not be replaced. But Phil is an insanely talented guitarist that brings a technique and passion to his solos that no one else can bring. It's a difference of depth between the original artist that wrote the songs, and someone coming in and playing them that is incredibly talented and fully does them justice. It isn't really comparable. Two different experiences and neither is good or bad.
Phil X is a great guitar player who plays in Bon Jovi but Ritchie Zambora is the Rock Star
