Take a moment to appreciate how insanely blessed we are to have the world's knowledge in the palms of our hands. Imagine growing up in some random village even a couple hundred years ago - if you were interested in any of this information, you would literally have to make education and specifically the study of history, your life's goal, one book at a time; one library at a time - meanwhile I'm learning about ancient civilizations while taking a shit.

It’s so interesting how angels aliens and the Bible all come together with the ancient Sumerians. As someone who grew up in private Christian schools and church my whole life, it’s easy for me to see these connections, and to be certain there is no way we have all the facts.

Read the Hindu Vedas. They had theories to explain expansion and contraction of the universe over 5,000 years ago. They also believe in multiverses and reincarnation. In these same texts they mentioned flying machines and vehicles that could drive on land and water. I think they would be considered more advanced than Noah and his ark.

My only comment as far as the timelines go is, the veda's were believed to have been written between 1500-500BCE and the flood was expected to have taken place between 2350-400BCE depending on the methods used to derive the dates. So really when including oral tradition before being written down- very well could have been around the same time. Incredible books either way. From godhead we rise, in godhead we live and to godhead we return.

There are loads of calendars being used today. The sexagesimal divisions of time in clocks are arbitrary or traditional. Decimal division (as used in French clocks during their revolution, ) would work just as well. There are no inherent mathematical advantage or advancement in the system.
