The root or base chakra, or Muladhara in the yogas, is found at the base of your spine. It provides you with a foundation for life and it can help you to feel grounded and supported so you can face challenges. It is also related to overall vitality, sexuality, drive and your capacity to make money, feel safe, stable and secure.
When the root chakra is out of balance we can feel unsupported, unsafe, lack drive, lack charisma and generally struggle with many aspects of life. It can also be linked to medical issues such as fertility issues and any illnesses in the lower back or groin area.
We can treat and help rebalance the root chakra through yoga asana, physical movements, breathing techniques, EFT Tapping, food and many other practices.
The Emotional Freedom Technique, known as EFT tapping, is a recent addition to psychology. It can be incredibly powerful and those who may have gone through years of therapy to no avail often find success in only a couple of sessions.

Would this one be good for the large intestine?
Yes sure. Anything where you bring the attentions down to the lower spine and torso will offer some assistance. Other things like exercise, yoga and breathwork will also likely help.
