Hi, I'm Charlotte Dobre. I'm an actor, reactor, singer and sometimes (not really) comedian. On this channel I do reactions, commentary and occasionally I make a joke or two. I love poking fun at social media, weddings, entitled people, tiktok and OF COURSE petty people. I upload daily, usually 7 days a week, unless life gets crazy or I get lazy. Come hang out, it's a good time.

Y’all if those models don’t look like they’re doing a potato sack race..in wooden shoes from the Netherlands
I love the Netherlands 😭
Netherlands 2223, AD: Art of Wearing Recycled Items
I’m a Susan Michelle! We rule!! 😂
Potato’s and the one in “boots” ☠️☠️☠️
Potatos in boots 😂
Just because a model is wearing it doesn't mean they don't look stupid
If it’s ugly on Bella Hadid and Kendall Jenner it means it’s very ugly 😂
TRUTH!!!😂😅
Absolutely!!!!
Best comment on the internet 😂
Anybody who watches haute couture shows know it. There some ridiculous costumes that even stone faced pros can't pull
10:26 You know how your mom always says “honey you’re so pretty you could wear a brown paper sack and still be beautiful” that designer took it to heart and proved all moms WRONG!!! 😂😂😂
Haha, Soo I know the designer he is actually wearing one of the outfits in the show himself. I went to the same school. He is a sweet guy. But yeah his fashion is a choice. You can find him his name is Drik Vaessen
Who in their right mind would buy that
🤣🤣🤣 YES!
I'm sorry, Charlotte, I love you but NOBODY looks good wearing the tighty whities.
When footless tights with the lace cuffs came back in the mid 2000s, I was chatting casually with a mother and tween daughter outside a store. The mother was so irritated about how much she had to spend on all these tights. I smiled and asked if she would like me to stop that. She said sure, very curiously. I told the daughter, "Cute tights! I remember having a pair just like those when I was a teenager!" The scrunched up look on that girl's face made both her mother and laugh hard. Never heard if the mother had to buy more tights but the look on the girls face said no.😂😂😂
Beautiful 🤌
When I see these fashion trends, I can’t help but wish more people had read and understood the moral of The Emperor’s new clothes.
Most of these people are sheeples
Totally!!
I forgot about that one! Good point! I swear, these girls can come out in t-shirts and pajama pants and normies who are actively wearing those same clothes would be drooling and wish they could be as 'fashionable'...nawwww. They're just famous/skinny and that's it.
The words pulled from my mind! The more of these wacky fashion trends I see the more I think of the Emperor's new clothes.
The more I see not only fashion but the comments people make and the life choices people make and people act like it’s all good..I am reminded of TENC!
Am I the only one that is super proud of the Capital One commercial? Like if she directed and created that herself 👏 yesssssss queen 👸
I went back and watched it again. Her acting is 👌👌
Charlotte's commercials are the only ones I won't skip through!
Seriously! I wish it was a real commercial that was aired.
I want to know a little more about the dog. Last time I checked, I don't think Charlotte has a pet - other than the shark puppet family. I agree, that ad is *chef's kiss*
I was coming here to say exactly that! Lol it was actually good and I hate commercials
Props to those models who stood out there in those.....fabrics. I would drop dead from embarrassment. Respect.
The dresses that are defying gravity was actually a statement peice with the fashion industry and how most people ignore the shows. So the dresses look normal when on you're looking down or on your phone but once you look up you actually see the outfit
I loved the fashion show where everything was falling apart!! Fashion as art, as a statement is so powerful. The show was executed so well, funny and creative and good commentary.
Agree! That was super clever. I wonder if you can find the full video 🤔
You can kinda see that it’s strings pulling the clothes, but yeah it’s a good one
Yes! It felt kind of reminiscent of the Mistake Waltz
I love ittt
One of the most powerful things you can do with your own wardrobe is ignore trends and wear the things that make you feel good. Rock those leggings, Charlotte!!
Also uh queen of sponsorship much?? That ad was awesome ❤
That should be the goal for most of us. Trends for me are in rare cases additions for my wardrobe. But then I would wear those trends the next years to come, even when they are not trendy anymore
9:11 Yup. thats why i love thrift stores because you really get to choose what works on your body and identify your own style.
"I floss my buttcheaks with it."
Oh Charlotte, honey you made my day a little more brighter. Thank You 😄
The thongs showing above low-rise jeans. We used to call that a “whale tail”! Nope.
*buttcheeks no A in it😂😂😂😂😂
Never thought I’d say this, but I love that Capital One ad. It made me want to see Charlotte in more ads, tv, etc. She’s a natural 💅
Those “glitched” dresses were part of a show that was commenting on how attached we are to our devices. Hence the whole computer glitched look. Which was fun since literally everyone was just filming and looking at the show through their phones instead of enjoying the art in the moment.
It was made by (I think) two designers who were fed up with comments about how they’d allegedly “photoshopped” some of their looks (idk lol) so they made this collection that was supposed to confuse you to comment on how we should enjoy the art in person and not focus on filming and stuff.
In my opinion it was actually quite cool, not wearable for everyday life ofc, but cool.
Oh ok. Ironically, I saw straightjackets. Coincidence?
okay okay here are some rules that I LIVE by for online shopping:
1. CHECK the measurements!
2. CHECK the reviews, especially those with photos
3. CHECK THE FABRIC. The fabric is already an good indicator if it's quality or not
4. This one is the hardest to swallow. Buy what SUITS you. As much you might like something, you have to understand that some clothes will be unflattering on you.
5. Check that you can return the clothes and get a refund if it still turns out the size is off, fabric is bad or it just doesn't look good on you. Number 4 can be really hard to implement, since they show off their clothes on pretty, skinny models, photograped from the best angle. It's often hard to imagine what it will look like on you.
5. Check that the company isn't a scammer selling $10 dresses off alibaba for hundreds
Exactly!!!!!!!! Impulse buying is NOT an option when shopping online. I take my time. I know my measurements, including inseam. It’s important. Online shopping is not for the weak.
Too true. Younger me didnt follow #4 and found out the hard way that I dont have a bodycon dress body....so sad lol
2 b: Read as many bad reviews as you can find, not just the good ones. If a lot of bad reviews are about long shipping times, you may be getting good items but have to be patient. Bad reviews about the actual clothing suggest you should skip. Also, how (and if) the company responds to bad reviews says a lot about them. If there are no bad reviews, chances are good they got rid of them. No company is perfect.
CAN WE ALL PLEASE STAND STILL at how cute Charlotte is? one adorable human being
Is it weird that as long time subscriber I am proud of Charlotte for getting a sponsor like Capitol One? Like her other sponsors were cool but Capitol One is major, at least I think so. Anyways, congratulations Charlotte, I hope you see this and know that people are taking note of your amazing hard work and your great potential!
Charlotte being turned away at a restaurant for not wearing pants I’m dying 😂😂😂😂😂
So you really want your ass to touch public seats? No, babe. Just no.
@@AlterEgo373 Nah, I think she confused Miami with Tampa. 😂
Charlotte's face when those models came walking out on Kleenex boxes for shoes was EVERYTHING😂😂😂😂😂😂
Kleenex boxes😂😂😂
😂😂😂😂😂😂
I want the link to that particular show so I can submit it to Daz Games.
@@mindyschocolate when you type in Dirk Vaessen London fashion week it will come up. The show is called futuristic footwear 😂
Fr, her expression had me deceased
The saddest part about it is that BECAUSE it's on a model some people think it is fashionable and looks good!! However, if a plus-size person would have worn it EVERYONE would be fat shaming them and calling it disgusting!!
THATS THE WORLD WE LIVE IN!!!
For the beige and blocky walk...model #2 really rocked the walk in those uncomfortable looking shoes. I mean, it was such a smooth gait that I wonder how long that model had been practicing wearing them.....
Can we just appreciate how good Charlotte does ads?! I always skip ads in videos because they're so boring but that was a whole experience. You're always amazing at making me want to actually check out the product or whatever it is you're promoting. Consider me influenced and I hate that term 😂
Yeah, with the Santa one I was like "what the hell is this?" and then I absolutely loved it. It became so hilarious and weird, which I very much appreciate.
I know. I always skip ahead whenever someone does an in-video ad. It didn't even occur to me to do that here though. I just happily watched it.
Does she have a dog!!???
Agreed 👍 you re the best girl!
Was coming to comment the same thing!
As a person who was in high school in the 80’s. JELLIES shoes . Hands down! The sweat from the plastic shoes made our feet smell like a roast left in a hot car for three days😮😂😂😂😂
(I had EVERY color🤷🏻♀️)
Oh my goodness I had a couple pairs of those in the 80s too! I thought they were cute until after I wore them to school. My feet didn't take kindly to them. By the end of the day my feet were red swollen and painful! I remember sitting with my feet in a pan of ice water to soothe them! 😬
OMG JELLIES I GOT SO MANY BLISTERS BUT LOVED THEM
My daughter was little and had to have them mom! Her favorite ones were clear tinted pink with the glitter in them.
I had those. And if you didn’t wear socks and your feet got sweaty they would feel gross and sound squeaky lol.
@@CharlotteDobre they were so awful but we all loved them. Ahhhh the glitter and neon jellies💝💝💝💝
That black guy’s commentary was the funniest thing I’ve heard for a long time! I was literally laughing out loud, which doesn’t happen often!!!
Honestly most of my clothes are second hand from the thrift store ☺ it feels good to know you're giving to charity as well as reducing waste
😂😂😅
I feel like the no-pants thing should be a 'you need therapy' test, because anyone who could be convinced to go out wearing 12 year old boy underwear as pants because of one staged photoshoot is definitely impressionable enough to end up in a cult one day.
This. Yes. Please!
Reminds me of 'The King's New Clothes'. A story of how gullible someone can be. There is trying new outfit styles.....and then there is just being literally lacking proper clothes. Modesty is not a bad thing.
Haha, Charlotte that sponsor video was so funny and just really well done 😂 ❤
Right! I was like wait am I watching an ad? Lol
@@bluehairedvixen ikr! I often skip those ads if they're for something that isn't even available in my country, but this was just very enjoyable so I did not mind at all 😄
So glad you liked it!
It's rare abd refreshing that someone put some effort to a spohsorship.
Okay, that sponsorship interruption was great! The acting was so good! Especially the timing of the smile when you were the angel lol
Actually the fashion show where all the clothes were falling off and everything was going wrong was an exhibition to show the ridiculous, and destructive nature of "Fast fashion".
I think Capital One needs to make that an official ad!!!!!! ❤❤❤
And pay Charlotte a ton of money!
Omg the edits, the jokes, the reactions are just gettin' better and better...😂✨✨
Charlotte is phenomenal. Thank you Charlotte... no one is like you. No one. 😂❤️
Love you Dina!
@@CharlotteDobre thank you Charlotte✨🤗
Ok. That Capitol One ad was like seeing a real ad/commercial on TV. So professional
that last pair of shoes was literally one of those doorstops that the art teacher always had in the door but it would never stay
That skit introducing us to angel and devil Charlotte 😂 .
Lol. Those sweat shirts with ruffles are to die for if you're looking to die of embarrassment.
Looks like someone’s grandma used her scrap fabrics from quilting to “pretty up” a old sweatshirt lol.
Brothers rant was hilarious!😂😂😂😂 Thank him for me. I ducking needed that! The laugh my side hurts but I'm still grateful.
As my grandmother always said, "It's only fashion again because they weren't around to be tortured by it the first time. "
OK you’re officially the only person who’s sponsorships I not only watch, but enjoy watching!😂
love that!
I have absolutely no fashion taste **furiously takes notes**
Edit: okay I feel a bit better, since I've never gone outside in just my underpants 😅
Same
I'm hanging my head but not sure if 'going out in public' means actually OUT and not near your place. Yeah, asking because I've gone onto my first floor balcony in the garden apartments with underwear and just a top, but to be fair, they are more like shirt dress type things that are more like a mini dress used for leggings, etc. I just fill the bird feeders, or toss something out there, dressed like that, but is that 'out in public'?
@@TheJudiBambiPurrsParadox Hope not, because I do it too 💕
I did not know this trend but I find it ridiculous to be honest
I don’t really shop for clothes anymore but when I did buy fast fashion I never had the issue of clothes just falling apart. I have 5 dollar shirts and fifteen dollars that are still perfectly serviceable 10 years later and after probably a 100s of washes. I also own some invested pieces that came apart from the seams within a couple wears.
I always think of the Giles quote from buffy the vampire slayer - "if the fashion magazines said to she'd wear cats strapped to her feet" hahaha
😂😂😂 the mental asylum straight jacket "runway" shit was horrendous 😂😂 and the "shoes" looked like geisha torture heels😂
I caught myself in a constant cycle of buying crazy fashion pieces just to keep up with current clothing trends. And I wasn’t the kind of person that had money to throw around so it was pretty upsetting to me when I realized that I was buying clothing , only wearing it 1 to 2 times and then it not being in style anymore. Now when I have the extra money to spend on clothes, I’ll buy things that are versatile and won’t necessarily go out of style. My wallet and my closet are much happier now.
I loved the ad for the sponsor. I swear, Charlotte could not only sell ice machines to Inuits, but entertain them too.
Everyone knows Charlotte doesn't have a devil on one shoulder and an angel on the other. She has a petty devil on one shoulder and a sassy devil on the other one.
My literal favorite part of this video is the fact that we find out that Charlotte has a puppy dog. So cute!
YES! AND WE WANT TO SEE MORE OF THE PUPPY DOG!!!!!!❤❤❤❤❤
@@AnamCaraDressage I second that motion.
2:34
Ahh! I loved your ad, especially the devil with the red lighting! Reminded me of Bedazzled with Elizabeth Hurley. ❤️
Daaaaayum what was that ad quality that came out of nowhere!! That looked so crisp and clean, I love it!
I had watched a video on fashion that actually helped me finally understand it , so from what i understand the main point of fashion is to present a attention grabbing statement piece that creates a "moment" and probably also conveys some kind of perspective or maybe even a political view or some other type of expression weather its personal or not, so it seems like for most designs they may not be made to last cause that may not be the main point of it
What's the link to that video please
@@daninb8939 ruclips.net/video/K_8_a04iIsE/видео.htmlsi=wsB0LLOm8F3NlkF7
I remember being a teenager (now 44) having my first thong and my dad was hanging up the freshly washed clothes to dry and he said 'oh stupid me, I washed your shoe laces'. And I didn't know if he was being sarcastic or serious so I fake laughed with him and we both fake laughed. So awkward.
😭😭😭😭
i believe the glitched out dresses thing was a statement on how in fashion everyone is forced into things that don't fit them. that's especially true for models, who have to starve themselves to fit into a dress and break their ankles in the unwearable heels on those shows
This is one of my favorite series BTW. Do more fashion/beauty fails, please!
THIS add! Do more like this please! As a viewer I LOVE the creativity!!!
I am so glad that as a 72 yo woman I can wear anything I damn well please and don't give a F*** about what anyone (other than my DH) thinks. I figured out a long time ago what silhouettes work for my body and can slightly modify those depending on where fashion trends are going. I probably get 2-3 new pieces every season and can stay reasonably up to date that way.
I just lost my kitty this morning. The laughs were very needed. Thanks Charlotte ❤
I'm so sorry you lost your fur baby. God bless!
Hope your Kitty returns soon! Best of luck to you and kitty.
Aw bb! I'm sorry about your kitty!
Oh no! Sorry about your baby kitty! I hope things get better for you~
Sorry about your loss. I recently lost one, Its hard. I hope you feel betterand keep on laughing when you can.
The socks over the stretch pants is an 80's fashion. I definitely did that in the 80's.
You are the ONLY RUclipsr I watch the sponsors section because you make a whole skit out of it. I love you so much!!
Don't follow fashion trends unless they actually look good and have some taste.
In the late 80's I never ratted my hair up really high because I didn't like how it looked.
You do not have to follow the craziness that the "fashion industry" puts out. They just want you to spend money and don't care how ridiculous you look.
It's totally the Emperor's new clothes and you don't want to be all nakey and ignorant. XD
Literally at this point 😂
I liked my big weird 80’s hair 😂 Aqua Net!
@@raimeyewens7518 Mall hair! 😊
I've always dressed the way I wanted. More fun to be an individualist!!
@Happy Mack My Crimper was on the bathroom counter at all times ready to crimp lol 😂
8:55 i mean, itd be hard to imagine this was done by mistake, the way that some of those clothes fly off in perfect sync. love the concept!
All of the stuff falling apart had me screaming 🤣🤣🫠🫠🥳😭😭. I would love to be with you at that fashion show bc I would be in literal tears 😭😭😭😭
That C1 commercial tho!!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥 Slay Charlotte!! 👑
Ok Miss Charlotte, you slayed in that Capitol One advert!! That was so great! Seriously, i hope they put it on TV, it was awesome 😂😊
I Love Lucy episode where Ricky and Fred set them up to buy flour sacks as fashion. Classic.
And then it ended up being the next trend!!
I love your lil ad skits, theyre so fun
Charlotte, know that we wanted to see the onesie too!!! Have to see the ensemble 😂😂
I got distracted from the video by my dogs and missed part of the sponsorship segment AND I ACTUALLY HIT REWIND to see the whole thing because it was really fun and cute. The only other time I’ve done that is when Charlotte did her santa and rudolf petty mercy sketch. Get your bag girl! You’re great at what you do! You deserve it!
10:40 Those aren't loaves of bread! Clearly they're planks of wood, to go with the sandpaper outfit! 🤣
That Capital One ad was awesome especially when the angel got rid of the little red guy on the shoulder.
Yassssss these ones of what I got vs what I ordered series. I’ve missed ya girly ♥️ but I’m back for this kind of content!!
Love ya Charlotte 🥔🥔🥔
Charlotte, your personal sponsor ads are literally the only ones on youtube I don't skip because they're entertaining and pleasing to the eye!
Sometimes I think all the designers get together to see who can make the worst outfits and still be able to get the models to wear them. It's high fashion darling. 😂
Thank you! You've articulated my thoughts perfectly! I wonder if it's called "high fashion" because the designers are drugged out of their minds?
YOUR DOGGGGG😍😍😍😍 lol saw your pupper in the sponsor thingy and couldn't resist😂
I very much enjoyed your CapitalOne ad, Charlotte! It was amazing 🎉
Charlotte's thong story about washing it separate until she forgot... then mom confronted her... that is exactly how it happened for me too.
I was about to comment this bc me too! I had no idea that so many of us had the same first thong excitement/experience 😂
my mom was quite young and very fashionable(and still is) so she was always forcing these trends on us haha my sis is 2,5 years older than me, shes had so many thongs my mom bought for her ,I didnt like them and never wore one but my mom was trying to convince me that I need to wear those haha
I was the mom, in my daughter's thong adventure. She did the same thing. When I discovered them on day, I asked her if she paid half price because they were only 1/2 panties.
my mum just bought me a draw full of them in different styles when I started high school (11 years old) just in case I wanted them.
I don’t understand this... I’ve had to do my own laundry since I was 12 🤷🏼♀️
That blazer is genuinely cool. I would wear the hell outta it
Angel Charlotte and devil Charlotte is now the angel and devil on my shoulders x
It doesn't matter if things are out of fashion. Wear what you want to wear. You don't have to fit in like everyone else. Over 30 years ago. I bought my daughter a camouflage dress. She hated it. Within the year, every girl started wearing them.
“Is it fashion or is she just thin?”
Maybe it’s the 80’s 😁🤷🏻♀️
Watching Charlotte’s videos are the high light of my day, week, year…
I LOVE the galaxy leggings! I have one that has flower patterns and one that had like a tribal type pattern on it and I freaking love them
DUDE!! YOU TOTALLY HAD ME AT FAST FASHION FALLING APART! I was hyperventillating and ended up ROFLOL
I could handle the 3 layers in warm weather when I was a size xxs and a teenie bopper,
I'd die overheating today at size xL and middle aged and on the brink of "that time of life LMAO
Killed me with "Miami is the skank capital of the world!"
Sorry. That is LA.
Here's a thought, and hear me out on this one, how about we all stop following fashion trends and just wear whatever we want regardless of what other people think?
Oh no. That would make me fashionable and that just can't happen y'all hear! 😅🤣
Agree! I never followed trends. I once was the "before" the trend was in, after everyone was wearing it, was not so funny anymore. I have so many different styles, that one day I look like a sort of skategirl emo and the next I am a dumpstertruck.
I mean I think a majority of us do anyways!
I think that after the age of 35, we all do
I've been goth since 1998 😂
The fall apart fashion show 💀💀💀💀 It summed up my opinion totally about most fashion now. I laughed so hard at this entire video.
You make any drama funny.
It’s why I watch you XD
Not having 3 charlotte arguing about shopping and her angel charlotte is still pettyyyyyy😂😂😂
Bruh she nailed that 🎉
Best part of the video for me😂😂
Me sitting here in my galaxy leggings like
" I feel attacked!"😢😂
But are they blackmilk? 😂😂😂
I love galaxy-print and am kinda sad I missed the phase when it was fashion so I could've bought it to wear it the next ten years (because yes I wear my clothes until they fall apart and/or until I ever someday magically get a fashion sense which won't happen in my lifetime realistically lol)
Never realized galaxy leggings were a trend (I stay out of trends and what not so I'm always oblivious) and my mom gave me galaxy leggings that she used to wear (I take hand-me-downs from my mom, I usually enjoy the clothes, it's free, and it's softened and "broken" in) and those leggings are one of the softest I own but I usually wear them around the house lmao
Charlotte when you said, "those look like a loaf of bread" I almost passed away 😂😂😂
Loving the bit for the ad break. Girl you're getting so creative with it. Love it! ❤❤❤
Yay! Thank you!
I think we need a Charlotte and Kallmekris colab in our life... it could be gold!
OMG, I loved Charlotte's add in the middle!!!
I'm sure every professional model has had that job where they saw the outfit they're going to be wearing and thought "what were they smoking?" but somehow maintained the professional smile.
They don’t care bc they’re being paid hundreds-thousands of dollars to put on stupid 💩 🤷🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️ Also It adds to their professional portfolio, meaning they get more experience so they’re more likely to get more jobs and make even more money per job (photo shoot/runway/etc) 🤷🏼♀️
@@candicemorgan979 who’s getting paid hundreds of thousands? Unless they’re on the level of Gigi Hadid or something models don’t typically make a ton from runway shows
Sorry, you said hundreds to thousands 🤦🏼♀️
As a Canadian as well, I think the “thong” look, we can all thank Manny from Degrassi for that one 😂
In America they stopped airing her episodes!
@@mimihasenpfeffer 😂 of course they did! Canadian television I think we could get away with a lot more. I’m not sure now; but cartoons, drama, kid shows etc. We kinda pushed it a bit here and there.
That's who I think of every time I see the thong above the pants lol.
The fast fashion bit is tequila makes your clothes fall off vibes😂 the upside down blue dress is for Butterfaces😂
LOL how do people at these fashion shows hold their faces so straight?! I'd be cackling my ass off so hard!!!!! 🤣
If I were the model I would be so pi$$ed for starving myself only to look like a moron in any of those outfits.
9:40 I appreciate that you mentioned that you’re coming from a place of privilege. I know that plastic/polyester two dollar Cammies at Walmart are not good for the environment or the people who made the garment. And I know that it’s going to not be as good of quality as a higher price point but I’m on disability and my monthly income is $911. So like you said, some of us, don’t have a lot of options when it comes to fast fashion. But I am trying to make more of my own clothes, and I love thrift stores!
15:45 the other thing, too, is a lot of these Instagram ad type companies are stealing original photos from creators and designers, and then selling completely shoddy, or seemingly unrelated clothing based on the stolen images.
That fashion show looked like a train wreck. The bread shoes said it all!
The thing with the romper… here where I live it’s so trendy, but always always you use something (skirt, pants, shorts, etc). It’s the most flattering now , but “aguas” if you want to go to the bathroom 😂
I hope you got paid well for the capital one commercial, that was so cute and a lot of effort! Loved it!
I've been ahead of "trends" by a minimum of 2 yrs since I was 13 (I'm 66). Learning to sew at 11 allowed me to "fix" anything. I buzzed my head before it became a thing - I've now got 27 wigs so I can switch up my look with the same base clothes. Quit following the pack, get in front of it. Pick things that actually look & feel good on you. Oh, and leave that one friend who always says it "looks so good on you" home - take the 1 who won't b.s. you.
Same, and I don't even care about womens fashion, yet somehow end up ahead of trends. My guess is. It just takes not caring, and enjoying something new and different from whatever the Kardashians are wearing. Lol 😅
*_Exactly!_* 💯
Damn but what if that one friend actually just had a crush on you so to them everything did look good on you
I just wear whatever I want if it's comfy and I look good in it. I don't have the money to just blow it on clothes when my favorite outfit becomes out of fashion and I "need" a whole new wardrobe
Buzz ya head real fashion forward
