I honestly think the simulation is quite unrealistic, which is going to be the case 90% of the time with these renderings because getting accurate materialistic profiles to be less than 10-30% wrong is incredibly hard. You can observe how said barrel bends like a silly straw. In real life, it would just snap since it's hardened steel. Inside of the model is also hollow.

If you’re taking suggestions, following in the train of thought of the airplane crash comment: what if you had the French ELC EVEN 90 crash into the Maus at the velocity of a tank shell? I saw a similar test of shooting the entire chassis of an early ww2 Russian light tank flying at a sturmtiger at I think around 800m/s. It was really cool. Im not sure but it might’ve even been on this channel
this simulation looks like it assumes that the armor is a single "solid" steel piece, whereas in reality it's comprised of many welded and riveted elements which makes this simulation cool af, but a long way from what it would like irl

With 200mm of armor, the Maus could also pass for a small battleship. The Bismarck had a belt armor of 170-320 mm for comparison.

Well, the hit damage of a 800mm railgun depends largly on if its Tier I or II and what the L Railgun Specialization skill level is.
