Flavors of blueberry, black cherry, plum, and blackberry with a touch of spice. Think of a fresh blueberry pie.
    CLASSIC FLAVOR PROFILES OF VARIETAL
The taste of blueberry can be hard for some to describe but it is similar to a combination of both red and green grapes, yet slightly sweeter. It has the sweetness of red grapes melded with the tart flavor of green grapes, which is partly why blueberries are so addictive.
    VARIETAL FACTS
Blueberries are native to North America and are loosely related to cranberries. Most of our blueberries come from Michigan and Oregon.
    HISTORY
Blueberries, like most red grapes, have colored skins and white flesh, but blueberry skins contain much more pigment which is why our blueberry wine is so intensely colored. Blueberries were first cultivated in the 1910s with the introduction of varieties with larger berries that were easier to farm.
    DID YOU KNOW?
Our Blueberry wine is a great ingredient for cocktails. Try it on the rocks with bourbon and a squeeze of fresh lemon juice. If you want the color of the Blueberry wine to stand out, try replacing the cranberry juice in a Cosmopolitan with our Blueberry wine for a tasty variation.
