I have know Rachel since she was 6 years old. She is one of the most talented versatile entertainers on Broadway. An award winning performer. Beautiful inside and out.
So happy to have found this! I was lucky enough to see Rachel as Reno when the show was in Chicago! I was in the third row, and still one of the best shows I've ever had the honor of seeing live! Thank you for posting this!

Wender Jose I've been scouring the youtubes for Rachel York in this musical! I saw her when she came to my city awhile back and I've been obsessed ever since! Thank you soo much! I hope you'll post more soon! :)
Wow, the ensemble in this production feels so amateur. Some of the girls are doing alright but the guys are just not into it at all. Watch the captain or the old man in the suit (to Rachel's right at the end). Feels like a community production.
Rachel York is a little less incisive dance wise versus her vocals which are heavier. The sound on this is not synced perfectly to the video either giving a stilted effect. The dancers are a wee bit looser to accommodate York’s softer movements. Each perf is tailored to the soloist when cast changes are made. This this version whilst the same choreography is a lot gentler than Fosters performance where the lines are very tight and sharp with a more manic animation. The doddering boat guests are supposed to be a little off as they join in the number. Yet when you slow down the ensemble a bit to a accommodate the less dance inclined Reno Sweeney everything is affected. Welcome to showbiz.
@@orion8835 Foster is an ingenue playing at a sophisticated part. She doesn't have the kind of brassy, assertive voice needed and she forces it. It hurts my throat to listen to her. York is the best Reno Sweeney since Eileen Rodgers.
I guess you missed that whole "recording devices are strictly prohibited" announcement at the top of the show, why exactly is ok for you to record these shows when it is illegal?

Rachel York is by far the best sung Reno, listen to that riff to an F at 8:08. AMAZING.
