Just discovered this video. Thank you for uploading it. I attended Newlands Prep from '86 to '88, and then the Manor School from '88 to '91. I took a trip back last weekend, knowing that there are now houses etc on the site. It was sad to see how much it had changed.
Thank you for taking the time to do this. I was there from 74-77 when the school still had a grass tennis court at the back of David Chittenden's house and an outside pool!. Feeling very nostalgic!
Fascinating, I attended in the 60’s and I think back then there were no houses beyond the cricket pitch. We played a great deal of inter school sport with the other schools in the town and walked to all the away games. Seaford is completely covered in housing now. What a shame they are filling in the last bit.
Holy crap on a cracker!!!!!!! I went here from May to December, 1978! Mr Chittenden was the Headmaster & Mr Burston was his sidekick!! There was an outside pool next to the wooden science block & it was the place where I 1st heard the word "whippersnapper" & "knee high to a grasshopper" to describe a child!!!
I just found out its closed forever and I'm very very sad. I attended 1972 to 1977 under David Chittenden as HM. Good old place, I'll love it forever. Guy Chapman
Could not agree more all in the name of greed and profit for the fat cats, the facilities on this site would have served Seaford far better than cramming in a housing estate that will add to the overcrowding and strain on facilities in Seaford in general
A new estate has already started - Well plans have been submitted and changed a few times - builders want to cram as many houses and flats on the site as possible.

Unfortunately Mr. Burston Passed away only last year I believe but he was the Headmaster when I started sad its all gone
Oh, no. Have they really torn the place up? The grounds as shown on this video are exactly as they are in my mind's eye. Attended 1977 to 1978.

Such a shame it’s being built on, can’t remember the amount of schools in seaford that have been sold and demolished ☹️

This is now history with the buildings being demolished.
