- I return to space in my first game of warfleets since its name change from FTL. I go over the rules extensively and lay out comparisons to the rules for grimdark future to make the rules easier to jump into.

Warfleets looks great. I have played a little and im excited for more.
I didn't know about the fantasy campaign, so I'm on my way to check that out now! I hope you continue doing the content that works for you but I personally love tabletop campaigns
Would love to see more of Warfleets! It's not covered enough on youtube!

Great video, small miss when shooting in to the rear of a ship. The attacker gets +1 to hit which you caught but, if hit, the defender gets a -1 on its block roll. Also on objectives, they are actually seized and picked up by a ship that moves over them and are only dropped when ship is removed from play. This means you get a fluid style of play that has ships chasing each other around the table to destroy ships and take back objectives.
That objective rule makes so much sense. That was me going "I know how objectives work! I don't need to read this page"

Not gonna lie, it's pretty cool to see the ships in combat! Loving it!
Grimdark future is my jam and I am excited for the new campaign. I still watch the fantasy campaign videos. But if they are not doing well you might as well try something new. Either way I will still be watching. I find the format hard to follow in the campaign because its a bit further away from the original OPR with the scale and modifications. I still enjoyed them. I just think some others might not want to take the time to figure it out lol.
I'm quite hypted for the grim dark futur campaign ^^ I don't have fantasy models...

Some more stuff needs to be brought together before it kicks off, but it I am looking forward to it
I'm good with what ever you want. I have fantasy and sci fi armies. You do so much I can't ask you to do more:)!!! One thing as just a thought. The game plays both the same and if there was a conquest angle to the sci fi we potentially could play BOTH. The battle could be over a solar system but you could focus on a main governing planet with feral planets. The feral planets could be a mix of supporting the main planet and rebelling against it. Kind of like the British and Zulu forces. Hell you could do feral AND sci fi Orcs:)!!!!! Any way I painted up 300 B1 battle droids with 120 B2battle droids and I'm starting to paint my clone trooper army. The CIS droid army has over 500 figs and the clones I plan on being the same size. The advantage here is VARIETY. I have an AT43 Karmen army that is sizable and an Ice planet with Gorillas in power armor would be EPIC. Oh and a mantic plague army for some fun forbidden plant zombi apocalypse fun. Your doing awesome Buddy. I'm a factory worker so I suffer from to tired to play syndrome sometimes. I'll support what ever you want.

@@WarbossFitz I kinda suck at pacing LOL:)! I'm 0 or 100%. I admirer how you pace at such a consistently high level. I painted 147 B1's in one day but didn't touch a paint brush for weeks. You do BIG BITES and keep on going- remarkable:)!

It's a game I bought on a whim because it was $5, I've come to rather enjoy it.
Loved the video, looking forward to seeing more Warfleets ; I've been interested in getting into it but there's so few ship STLs and so few videos on the game that I wasn't sure if I'd be able to or even want to (this video has definitely proved to me that I *do* want to learn the system)
So far as the fantasy campaign, I will definitely say I'm far more interested in Grimdark Future than AoF, so I'd love to see the GDF campaign sooner than next year
but I am only one person, so I know that's just a opinion lol

Some decision have been made behind the scenes in the formatting and the scale of the campaigns I had in mind. Instead of the grand campaign from the start, breaking it up into seasons would be the best approach. Where the fantasy one is right now is a good season finale and cliff hanger to leave it on for now.
The GDF campaign I am going to break it up into several operations and they will all come together to make the whole
nice battle but you cannot shoot a twin fire weapon at the same target wice. Also you cannot shoot on two sides with the same weapon unless it has the broadside rule

I printed up some ships because I want to give this a try too, but the army forge for it is so buggy I can't make anything work, so many bugs... at least there is something SERIOUSLY wrong with the HDF ships. I don't know what's going on, but it's unusable for me. I'm hoping this gets fixed because I've got the ships, lol.
The Dao fleet is bugging out for me too. Every time I close it and open the army forge back up the fleet is a blank sheet.
I'm sure they are working on it.
@@WarbossFitz While it sucks you are having problems, I'm glad I'm not the only one. I've been in contact with the army forge dev (he's all over OPR discord) he's not sure where all these problems are coming from yet.
