ስለ ጎሬ ከተሰሩት ዶክመንተሪዎች ሁሉ በጣም የተሻለው ነው። እናመሰግናለን። ነገር ግን መጠቀስ ከነበረባቸው ትላልቅ ኩነቶች አንዱ ሁለኛው የኢጣልያን ወረራ ለመጀመሪያ ጊዜ በህዝብ የተቀለበሰው እና በብዙ ሺዎች የሚቆጠሩ የወራሪው ጦር ሙት እና ምርኮኛ የተደረገበት በጎሬ ልዩ ስሙ ሳምቤ በሚባል የገጠር ቀበሌ ነው። በቅርብ አመታት እውቅና አግኝቶ አመታዊ ክብረ በአል እየተደረገለት ያለ ለሀገራችን ኩራት የሆነ ታሪክ የተሰራበት ከተማ ጎሬ ነች።

The Ethiopian society is unique in that individuals who succeed in life never turn back to look at the places of their origin. This makes us different from our societies around the world. For example Kenyas always make sure to make some investment in the places of their birth and regularly travel to visit even if they are away with established life elsewhere. Every Christmas a Kenyan tells you he/she is going home which simply means to their birth place. That is why places around the country have development trajectories that are not miles apart unlike ours where most of the country side is completely derelict relative to the major cities. Very sad indeed.

One of the good journalism i ever had.Beauttiful documentation. But still many things remained untouched. As we observed the panorama of the city, it looks totally dilapilated and at a very poor condition. It should have been explained, that the city was revoked capital city status in the Derg time as a result of its topographycally graphically hilly, that makes no way out to make it larger. Ofcourse Abe Gubegna and Bealu Girma were litrature figures of the Ilu- Abbaa Boora. More better if you had added some unfogatable political personalities who had good portion of Ethiopian history like Mr. Goshu Wolde and Dr. Senay Like. The town was alarmingly so poor and looks nothing was done for better life of its inhabitants over half century.
The main purpose emperor Haile Selassie chose Gore as Ethiopian capital was that to make save heaven for its offitials against Italian persecution. Because The emperor thought that, probably Italians never go there due to its remoteness and no road existed.How ever Italians reached Gore and executed all H. Sellasie ministers. The emperors plan to comunicate his cronies En Rout England to Gore via Sudan and Gambela to give orders and to receive information remaned in vain.
