Arely Janet how long did it take for your swelling to go down because I'm day 3 and my swelling is bad and it's so painful
alexia laper it took me about 4 -5 days for it to go down till today it still hurts but not as bad patience is key ! No worries oh and also apply ice . It will help a lot . I only got my bottom wisdom teeth out .

you're so lucky. I can't move my jaw at all.. I can't really close my mouth. all four of mine were very impacted and I have a lot of swelling. a lot of pain. day 4 starts tomorrow. hoping for the best..

I just swollow whole. I didn't eat macaroni but I do 'drink' soft rice-porridge LOL. But it hurts when I open tiny slits between my teeth about 1 cm wide? And I 'drink' with teaspoon. I do slow sips and drank like a stroke patient 😥
I'm on my first day and I ate it for lunch lol
I've been shot 6 times and have never been more spooked then knowing I have to get this procedure done, kudos to you my girl. 1 of the bravest persons I've ever seen, and thanks for making this easier for me

I almost got fired at my job becaus I keep on calling out. My dentist failed to tell me that swelling would last this long . 😒😒😒
I just got mine removed. I watched your video before the day of my surgery and now I'm watching it again. ^_^ Thank you for posting this, it really helped me. I'm in my first 36 hours now I think and didn't feel any pain nor discomfort. Hopefully it will stay like this til' I'm fully recovered.

I get 2 removed but before that I asked my orthodontist to remove all 3 of them and she strongly refused. I guess she's right. I'm going to take out the other one next year. Hopefully I won't another pericoronitis before the next surgery.I'm totally overwhelmed by the bleeding and throbbing pain😭 since one of them is impacted (the lower one)

Rosie Keiser, it was fine during procedure but had issue getting pain killer after surgery cuz I thought it was sent electronically... it was killing me. I feel lot better after taking med tho. Just feels numb and little pressure.

OMG SAMEE, I STARTED TO CRY FOR NO REASON! I kept thanking the nurses for everything and started crying more and more then they put me in my moms car and I passed out all I remember is calling my mom

I mean, eVen day 2 i was traveling around town and embarking on winter adventures. I feel great! And that’s not because I take crazy pain meds, in fact I only take 1-2 Advil’s a day. Imma tough tranch; my injuries don’t tell me what to do, I TELL THEM WHAT TO DO!

Is your wisdom tooth horizontal impacted? How many hours u feel worst pain After surgery? How many did the painkiller help you before it wear off?
My experience so far is real breezy, didn't feel the IV at all and no needles to speak of, I was sober and fine within the hour! Don't stress about wisdom teeth removal, it's all gonna be fine.
I had to lol when you went from happy to that face after the removal lol, glad your ok though!
Just got mine out about 24 hrs ago, I feel super lucky because the pain is manageable without medication. I'm just worried that Ill get swollen cheeks in the following days 😥
I went to the dentist yesterday because my mouth was hurting, had to get one tooth out because it was starting to get infected.
I'm 20, never had a tooth extraction before, so I was shaking when I had to sign the papers giving them permission to pull the shit out. I think what scared me the most was the pain afterwards, or if I had any pain during the extraction.
Only thing that hurt was the needle they used to numb me.
They said I could've waited until I saw a surgeon, but it could take months until they would do the surgery. If I chose to wait, I'd just be in pain here and there because of the infection because of the tooth and the only way to relieve or get rid of the infection was the extact my wisdom tooth.
I still need to make an appointment to get the other 3 out.
Now I'm having trouble sleeping, not because of the pain, I actually have a high pain tolerance (figured that out now after my pain pills wore off), but because my mouth feels funny when I close it all the way and it's annoying me.
I just got mine out on Halloween and it's been heeeeeeelll 😭 my face is super swollen I'm still kinda bleeding on one side :( did u get all of them out ? How did u recover so fast ?

My experience was just like yours I got all 4 of my wisdom teeth pulled out on Wednesday n went back to work today Friday no swelling or bruising! The pain was bad the second day I’m still in the soft food stage I’m just scared to eat lol but it wasn’t as bad as I thought! N I also didn’t act all loopy after lol
that dog bark tho.. lol.. my oldest had 4 removed at one time.. she thought she was on a roller coaster when we were wheeling her to the car.. she did get dry socket.. I really felt bad for her.. this is not an easy thing to go through.. thanks for posting this.. it will surely help others.. God bless you

how were your teeth? and how was the pain? I'm going to remove my upper right wisdom tooth next week with local anaesthesia, so scared :(
gisella filemon unfortunately I haven't gotten any of mine out yet because I got sick the DAY of my surgery. I'm still trying to get over it 😩I've had to reschedule my surgery for next month. Since you're only getting one tooth out I'd like to imagine you won't be in as much pain as getting all four out. I wish you a speedy recovery!
But i can't eat too these days because i don't want any food gets in the gum tissues on my lower right wisdom tooth, so in 3 weeks i will remove the upper tooth and remove excess gum that covering my lower wisdom tooth, hope it won't be that painful

I got mine pulled nearly 12 hours ago. I don't know if my painkillers are still in effect, but I don't feel anything. For now.. hoping it's not too painful tomorrow. Or the next day..

@@skyeskelter I just got mine out, theres no pain after but a couple hours later is when the pain and swelling starts. Its not really bad but its pretty uncomfortable to say the least

I got my wisdom teeth taken out this past Thursday and I'm allergic to anti- inflammatories one of the teeth he had to leave the root b/c it was attached to my nerve. But anyway so far the experience hasn't been so much pain as it is irritation. I'm really swollen on one side which is the right side and its only been technically 2 days coming up on 3 days now. I still can't eat solid foods like that b/c this mouth is damn near stitched shut. But my gums have been sore as crap like how when a babies cutting teeth sore so while its not so much pain its irritating especially since nothing seems to relieve that feeling of gum soreness I'm having and its gotten progressively worst as well as the times going on. I think its just the gums healing but then again I don't know. I have followed all the instructions given though and tomorrow I'm going to try some eggs. I'm so ready to eat solid foods like my body is begging for some Chicken like so badly LOL. The meds the doc gave me were only pain meds so i'm still pretty swollen in the face on the one side I'm praying that by tomorrow this gum soreness and the swelling just goes away.

I'm still dealing with the pain after 3 days..taking penicillin pills, swishing salt oral rinse..I took one day off work..but made it through the last night..gotta go back this Sunday..just hoping this pain go away soon..and I can go back to eating regular.

i think everyone just recovers differently. Everyone's teeth are impacted differently. I had mine removed yesterday..just one. however in a few hours i was talking normally..a bit too much. my face didn't swell up too much. You only noticed it when you touched my face and compare it to the other side. Mind you my dentist dug out my teeth like he was digging into a mine. I was traumatized but luckily the after math wasn't too bad and my pain is bearable.
I just got mine out today, was able to eat some mashed potatoes and ice cream.. my jaw does hurt a bit to open and have been keeping ice on my face on and off all day
I got my wisdom teeth out on Tuesday(today's Saturday) and on the 3rd day I was so sick I couldn't eat anything bc I would throw up. I tried to eat twice and ended up vomiting 3 times, yesterday my right cheek got hella swollen and I feel like a bony bump inside my cheek, I don't know if that's normal but I'm scared af. I really can't wait for this pain to be over.

I had all 4 pulled Monday night and by Tuesday morning , their was no swelling or pain. It Hurt A Little To Swallow. I've Stuck To Yogurt And Mashed potatoes. It's Like I'm Perfectly Fine Lol My Only Concern Is Getting A Dry Socket😓
I got mine done today. You are supposed to have a salt rinse 3 times a day after the first day and you didn’t talk about that
I just got 4 of mine out a few hours ago! All were partially impacted. The operation took less than 30 minutes. I'm a bit older in age, so we'll see how quickly it'll heal.

i just remove my tooth next to the wisdom tooth,in my country we don't remove wisdom teeth. I removed it this thursday and it's sunday today and I still have pain and bruces below my jaw linee.And I have ''afte'' so my lips hurt too.I haven't slept since that day...

Ain't true! My orthodontist insisted me to have only one side of my mouth wisdom teeth removed! I guess she's right! If I insisted on removing all of them, I might in coma now😂
I’m on day four my face is all bruised up . I feel so much pressure when I lay down. My face is so huge. I can’t take the pain meds the doctor said because I was recently in the hospital and it would be good for my body. So the only meds I can take is 4 ibuprofen. I feel everything.

i just got one of mine removed today. it wasn't as bad as people make it out to be. You just follow the post-surgery instructions and you should be fine 😊 the only thing that did bug me was the soreness after the anesthesia wore off, besides that the pain is managable 👍

If he removed just one horizontally laid impacted wisdom tooth, he definitely will feel the irrational pain and horror😒 because your dentist definitely will cut really deep and wide across your outer side gums at least till your premolars before digging your horizontally laid impacted wisdom tooth and that's really becomes nightware when you're damn hungry and you're scare to open your mouth even the smallest slit because it will start to bleed all the way and you're hungry like hell and most all the time for me just gulp the refridgerated soy milk (with brown sugar) from mug across teeth that is closed tightly and in a dizzy state because keep bleeding in the mouth😰 and I taste metal in my mouth most of the time and it's day 5😒

Thanks so much for posting this! Very informative. I'm actually getting this done soon, too. I am wondering if you could explain more about what it was like to get put to sleep? This is the part that FREAKS me OUT!! Like, what does it feel like? How do they do it? What does it feel like when they put the stuff in, like do you get sleepy or is more like wide awake to instantly out? Could you have stayed awake if you would have tried or is it impossible? Haha. Basically whatever you remember about that part would be helpful. Thanks so much!
You can do what I did and take the sleeping pill and go to sleep on your own. Instead of waiting for it to kick in just relax and soon enough you didn't even realize you fell asleep
I didn't get put under for my wisdoms but I did a few years back when I got my tonsils removed. You won't even notice they put you under, I got my tonsils and adenoids removed, plus had my septum straightened, and my god it felt like I got hit by a truck when I woke up. Not even exaggerating, I went into shock.
Great though, the sleepiness didn't get out of my system for a few days so going to sleep instantly and waking up 3 hours later was THE best feeling!! Especially if you're an insomniac :P
How was she so well off on day 3? :( I'm on day 3 and haven't even been able to eat pasta. Everybody is different though, I have stitches in my bottom two, top two are just holes. I'm way swollen and stiff, day 3 is worse than day 2 for me, hopefully there's no infection

Hey! First thanks so much for being a fan of my videos! Okay so to film my vlogs I just use my iPhone 6 but to film my other videos I either use Canon Rebel T3i or T5i. As far as advise, I would say do your best to be YOURSELF! I've realized over time that there is no-one else just like YOU that is on RUclips. Find what personalities traits make you unique. Don't be afraid to show your weirdness! Also I would say to try to make videos that are searched fairly often and are popular in order to get your view counts up! Hope this helps you!

Extracted mine and I am not swollen at all. I ate the same day. When I had it I was sick for such a long time, the nerves on my left weighed me down so bad. Fever and headaches everyday. I know it sounds impossible but I was not swollen, not even pain. Just soreness. I think my tooth had to come out anyways
Had mine out two days ago was complicated sugery bad impacted tooth took 1hr30mins or so. Still swollen but better now not that can't eat solids. I am 33 so may take longer as i am older.
day 3, gonna try to have Mac and cheese tonight, hopefully I can eat solid foods again by day 5-7
