mia.notmya they put the laughing gas tube over my nose and he had the IV hooked up to my arm and he injected the fluid that I assume was going to knock me out. I counted down from 10 and never made it past 7 😂. Woke up feeling great (because of the drugs) and went home and slept all day. Now I'm just on ibuprofen and have very minimal jaw pain (and btw my wisdom teeth were impacted). Whole process was not bad at all. Thank you for sharing this video it's the only one like it I can find
Thats exactly how I was. Literally was awake at one second and then woke up the next lolol. I'm glad everything went smoothly for you and thank you so much for watching!! :)
Had 4 removed yesterday, two bony impacted, one partial impacted, and one that fully erupted but was crooked. The GA is a pretty cool surgery method since I was unconscious about 30 seconds after the IV went in and wasn’t fully conscious till I was at home in bed. So far I have mild swelling and very little pain. Overall I’m glad that I can have better dental health from now on and a cool story for friends.
I had local freezing and laughing gas. I only felt pain in one tooth when he was removing it so he injected more freezing and it was fine. If your wisdom teeth are out of the gums and not really impacted (mine were almost fully out of the gums) the guy legit takes plyers grabs the tooth and rips it out. It took 10 minutes for the guy to take out all 4 and I was fully healed in 4 days. Laughing gas was $100 more and it didnt do anything I didnt notice any effects from it and the surgeon said I probably wont it sounded like he didnt believe it even works at all. Worst parts of the experience and recovery was -disolvable stitches sticking into cheeks sometimes -waking up with a terribly dry mouth from the medication -mouth cankers and dry lips (get some good lip moisturizer) -teeth are super sore and sensitive for days -food in your bottom sockets is the worst just try and eat things that dont have little pieces like rice, salad was bad, stuff with seeds. Just eat mashed potatoes for 5 days lol
This made me feel so much better. I get mine out tomorrow morning. I already have anxiety naturally, so I was really nervous to do this. But thanks for this video!
i’m so happy you made this mine are getting out in like 2-3 months and i was nervous, but now that i know you’re completely knocked out and don’t remember a thing, i think i’m okay!
For me it's the anticipation of the appointment and the gagging/vomiting/nausea and dry socket or infection that worries me. Most people are afraid of needles, but I'm ok with that.
Thank you so much for this video!!! I'm getting mine out tomorrow and you made me feel so much better about the process. I'm still scared, but not as much now. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
It was not as scary as I thought it would be!!! I was scared of the laughing gas and being knocked out at first, but once I was out I was out. When I woke up, I didn't remember anything that had happened before the surgery. I'm still in pain and I have to go back to the dentist again today 😨😨😨 He thinks I might have an infection or dry socket 😭 He also said he might need to take out my stitches which scares me even more. I don't know what taking them out entails....................
Omg I thought I had a dry socket too when I got my wisdom teeth out! What did happened?? I never had to take my stitches out, because mine just dissolved!
It turned out I had an infection in my lower gum on one side. Luckily the pain has subsided, but I have to use a syringe to clean out where the infection had been since there is a hole there
mia.notmya it’s been a week now and it healed up pretty good . I had bone graft put in so getting a dry clot was out of the picture. I’m slowly getting back into eating solid foods . I can eat about everything except big foods like burgers , bread, etc
I had a very normal process. I had 4 wisdom teeth and 2 additional teeth removed. I had iv sedation, I was a little disoriented but after resting for 5 minutes I was fine. I had barely any pain throughout the recovery. and bottom right teeth was a little swollen, everything was mostly fine. I am like a week in but I'm just confused how everyone struggles so much, maybe it's because I prepared by flossing beforehand and unknowing knew to not spit. Still not sure if I'm really healed which is why I'm looking at videos
I have severe anxiety and my appointment is at 8:30am. It’s currently 5:30. I can’t sleep. Sick to my stomach. I’m mainly nervous about falling asleep and the IV
I'm gonna have my extraction on May 23. The preparation part shouldn't be too bad (my sisters have done this so my mom has experience with the after care) i'm just focusing more preparing myself mentally through therapy and videos like this for tips. Thanks for posting up the video btw.
This really helped me. General Anesthesia sounds like the way to go. I get the same reaction as you do. Just really nervous. I get mine out within the next few months
I got my wisdom teeth out yesterday and your video really helped me.literally just went into the doctors office he put the needle in my arm to calm me down and in a few seconds I was a sleep. I woke up feeling no pain but then later the pain was kickin in, ice packs are a huge help, so is the medicine they give you. Thanks for this video it did really help my experience of getting my Wisdom teeth out 😆
Im gettin 6 pulled soon. 3 wisdom and 3 molar. I guess 4 or 6 its the same. Im freaked out i had panic attack. Im freaked out completely and im so scared for the aftetmath because im known not to be the most pedantic person. How would you describe the pain when you wanted to eat from 1 to 10? id it bearable? Is it more like a discomfort? Ps. mine are not impacted its just my care took them to the end of their ride. I have straight roots and i hope it goes well. What got me thinking is that the doctor said it will take around 2 hours for the procedure. Maybe they will stitch some of the wounds? How uncomfortable are the stitches?
In the Netherlands we can't choose. They only use local anesthesia. the only thing that worries me is the pain afterwards. I have a pretty high pain tolenrance but still I'm nervous xD
Did you take them all out in one session?I took out one and got 7 injections on my gums was a very painful scary experience and the recovery was not easy.I think i will go for knock out to get the remaining 2.
I'm going in for my consultation tomorrow. I have a wisdom tooth that's coming in, its pretty painful. I will most likely have to get all 4 taken out. I'm really nervous about it. I'm more scared to be put to sleep & how I will feel waking up from the general anesthesia. I've been told you'll be too loopy & on drugs & really numb, waking up... I loved your video! it helped my nerves a little.
I had mine out just a few hours ago. I went on GA. Don't remember anything and woke up 2hours later haha. I was fine 30min after I woke up. The Aneathetic assistant said the stuff we use here in Australia is different to the USA. Not as strong but it does the same thing.
The stuff I got knocked me OUT. That's so awesome how theres differences in medicine in different countries :) I hope you recover well and thank you for watching xx
I took my 4 wisdom teeth out yesterday and I taking ibuprofen every 6 hrs and Tylenol every 4 hrs but it doesn't help at all!!! It hurts so bad😟 I'm only 15 and I wish I waited little bit
I hope everything went well and I'm sorry for my late reply! Always with needles just look away and think of you being somewhere else. Trust me it freaks me tf out too.
I'm sooo scared because I have gone under anesthesia before and I don't remember what it was like. I would love to know what the anesthesia is like. Please tell me if it had a smell and what I'd feel like when I get it out
There isn't a smell at all! For me, they put the IV in my arm, which pinched, and then they put the laughing gas over my face and told me to try to fall asleep. I don't remember anything after that! So for me, there was no smell and really no feeling other than like I was about to take a nap :)
I was at the gym and received a call from my dentist to remind me I’m getting all of my 4 wisdom teeth removed tomorrow At 2pm i am so scared but your video has made me feel much better♥️♥️although I’m still nervous I am supposed to go to Rosarito for Cinco De Mayo celebration😭😭 hopefully I recover by then 😂🤞🏼
Had my wisdom teeth cut out when I was 18 years old in operating room and I know this is rare my dentist told me I had 6 wisdom teeth and I only had 4 of them removed how weird is that?
im so afraid of the day when i have to get my wizdom teeth out. cuz im afraid off needles and surgery and I CANT DRINK ANY PILLS SO THAT MEANS I CANT DRINK THE PAIN KILLERS 😭😭 im 14 and i still cry and scream when i have to get any shots😭😭
I was really scared too but what got me through it was just talking with the doctor and trying not to think about it. Literally the scariest thing was just putting the IV in and then I fell asleep and everything else was fine :) Good luck!!
It actually wasn't that bad! I was watching my pulse on the monitor and when the doctor walked in I peaked over 100 BPM. They put the IV in me and waited a couple minutes before putting the sedation drugs in. He asked me to cough and then count down from 100. I made it to 87 and then I remember waking up. The first day was pretty hazy, but now I'm on my 3rd. Still can't eat solids and I'm oozing a little blood still, but not as bad as I thought!
Way off topic lol buutttttt....Geesh, your subscription is growing so quick!! One question, how?! & You're one brave girl! It sounds scary and stressful throughout the whole progress.
+Asia MeKole The whole progress does sound scary, but it isn't bad at all! I don't know why my subscriptions are growing as fast as they are honestly, but I am very thankful for it :)
Hi I know this video is almost 3years old but The dentist told me I need 4 wisdom teeth’s out. And the operation may take 2hours. Also they don’t do general anesthesia here and idk why. I don’t want to sit for 2 hours of looking at them taking out my teeth. Any advice?
I would just try to see if they have any anesthesia or pain killers at all. You can be transparent and let them know that you feel uncomfortable with being awake! You might be able to find a different place depending on what your insurance will cover. Let me know how it goes!!
I know this was made a year ago but can someone tell me if the iv is like the thing that you put in your arm? I just want to know because I know that it doesn't hurt I'm just curious. (Got blood drawn recently for first time)
Do you feel pain at all during the surgery? Can you feel them slicing open your gums a day drilling your teeth out? Or do you not feel anything, not even a little sharp pain during the surgery?
2 years after and now I’m watching this I didn’t see this right away but I ended up getting my 4 wisdom teeth pulled out and it was really scary and I had real bad anxiety and I don’t get anxiety that much
I’m so scared I’m only 14 but am forced to get them out even though they aren’t even showing yet I have all 4 to get removed plus I have to get 2 baby teeth that will never come out taken out as well! I know it’s a different scenario but I still like watching the videos to get prepared! Please tell me it’s going to be ok! Plus they have to drill at the roof of my mouth and expose my canine teeth that are going the completely wrong direction and they are attaching chains to them! Then weeks later I have to get top braces! Has anyone ever gotten anything like this done?
No i haven't, but trust me if you're going to be under anesthesia for this you will be totally fine! The doctors will also make sure to give you pain medication :) It'll all be okay and you'll forget it even happened!
Getting all 4 of mine taken out in 5 days! The only things I am worried about are going under after the IV, just because I’ve never experienced any sort of sedation. And also I am worried about how long my recovery will be. Luckily needles and blood don’t bother me xD
very helpful tips Mia good thing mine fixed into place so I didn't need to get them removed I was confused when the dentist told me lol idk how it happened:P
Very scared, mine are being pulled out in 2 months and I'm really afraid, as a child I had to get the gas to knockout and I was tripping with bad. Ever since ive hated the gas, I'm terrified.
I have a lower wisdom tooth that came out sideways and the dentist told me to take it out over a year ago. I still haven't got it taken out. Lol. Very informative video though!
I have horizontal impacted wisdom tooth on lower left. Doctor told me it's a big tooth near the nerve. And I have my extraction under general anesthesia. I am scared. I have seen videos in which the tooth near nerve can damage it and can cause permanent or temporary numbness😢😢
im 12 and might have to have some teeth removed because i have VERY small mouth and part of that is because the orthodontist i saw is crazy and thinks that your teeth need to come perfectly together and ive never had surgery or stitches before so im terrified
omg I got one wisdom tooth out when I was 18 and my dentist told me I would need to get the other ones taken out I didn't do it but when during my last pregnancy I got all of them taken out at one time. it was not fun lol great video thumbs up
I heard that the pain medication can make you throw up so They told me I can just take Tylenol and I’ll be fine. I’m worried I will be in a lot of pain if I don’t take the medication but I don’t want to puke
They didn't tell me that my medication could make me throw up so thats odd... I would say Tylenol is okay but I feel like it might not be strong enough, since it is a pretty serious procedure. I would just try to talk to your doctor or try and get a little bit of the pain medication for when you just get out of the surgery and try it!
Hey I would have rather gotten them out when I was younger to just get it over with! It's really no big deal, just the anticipation that gets you :) Make sure to talk to your doctor if you're uncomfortable, but you should be 100% ok, definitely doing research helps!
I get mine removed on this upcoming Monday which will be the 10th of September.. I’m absolutely terrified, but from everything that I’ve seen and read about online it’s not all that bad. I’m just super afraid of getting a needle in my arm to get the iv and the needle that’s going to be going into my gums to numb my mouth.. I’m hoping for the best and I’m trying to keep the best of thoughts in mind... But this video did definitely give me some great insight of what to expect. Thank you for all the tips! :)
I got all 4 of mine taken out yesterday and everyone says that there's very little pain but so far the same can't be said for me 😂I'm just trying to remember that eventually everything will be back to normal. I think these next few days are going to be the worst though. I don't have much swelling, just a bit of pain and discomfort. Also all I really want right now is some actually food but all I can eat is soup and very squishy food which is super annoying lol
in 5 days I’m getting two impacted wisdom teeth out, and my canines won’t come down so they’re cutting the gums open to expose them and pulling them down with a chain. i’m so anxious I can’t sleep at night, i have a panic attack almost every day, and i’m terrified. i’m mostly worried about the pain afterwards and this video helped a little, and it’s the only one that did, so thank you :)
I'm sorry that you're experiencing anxiety like you are though :( Don't worry too much, just trust the process and know that in the end, everything will be okay.
This was just about over a year ago so I was 16! I think I was conscious for about 3 minutes, if that, once they give it to you just close your eyes and it will be over before you know it :)
i just had my lower right wisdom tooth extracted feb 6 th they finished arond 1230ish pm started around 12 maybe by th etime they started. the actaul extraction itself, not counting the waiting time of getting injected with stuff was mabye 5-7 minutes. the tooth was fully erupted. and straig.t but my issue is i am48 so i know most get it don in teens or early 20s. and the older yo uare th eharder it is. however. it wasn't as bad as i thought. and yes. the one singe thing i worry the most about is doin geverything to prevent dry sockets. acutally today the 9th of february which at 1230 pm would have been exactly 3 fully days /72 hours. i did take advil and tylonal in the monring but tried to not do it and it is 1030 pm same day and i haven't taken anymore yet. and my pain is a 1 , maybe 2 tops. i think i am close
i told my surgeon to use extra knock out drug to keep me sleeping as im resistant. i woke up right after my first wisdom tooth was pulled and felt the other 3 get crushed after the gums were cut around them. i paid close to $1300 for this and i have a super high pain tolerance. Not once after beginning did they check if i was awake. Im glad to have my wisdom teeth removed in a sterile environment but this was torture. im pulling my own teeth from now on
Currently is 2:20am and my removal appointment is at 8am. I'm nervous if you can't tell
How did it go?!
mia.notmya they put the laughing gas tube over my nose and he had the IV hooked up to my arm and he injected the fluid that I assume was going to knock me out.
same!!
nickass54 How Did it Go? I go This Week I’m Scared lol
2 hours remaining before my death
How did it go?!
Purple army everywhere, Cx
Daniel Cx what arm thing homie?
Got mine out today what a trip... just had local anesthesia
He died.
I got all four wisdom teeth out and Iam doing great and I would recommend general anesthesia it is great
Had 4 removed yesterday, two bony impacted, one partial impacted, and one that fully erupted but was crooked.
The GA is a pretty cool surgery method since I was unconscious about 30 seconds after the IV went in and wasn’t fully conscious till I was at home in bed.
So far I have mild swelling and very little pain.
Overall I’m glad that I can have better dental health from now on and a cool story for friends.
Awesome & glad it went well!
Thank you! I have to get 3 out that are impacted on Monday and so nervous!
Laughing gas was $100 more and it didnt do anything I didnt notice any effects from it and the surgeon said I probably wont it sounded like he didnt believe it even works at all. Worst parts of the experience and recovery was
-disolvable stitches sticking into cheeks sometimes
-waking up with a terribly dry mouth from the medication
-mouth cankers and dry lips (get some good lip moisturizer)
-teeth are super sore and sensitive for days
-food in your bottom sockets is the worst just try and eat things that dont have little pieces like rice, salad was bad, stuff with seeds. Just eat mashed potatoes for 5 days lol
This is great advice! You should make a video of your experience :)
This made me feel so much better! I`m getting mine out tomorrow morning :) Thanks!!
No problem girl! I hope it went well :)
Hey how was it???
Please tell me how it was
your makeup is so cute! love this video and your channel! can't wait for more videos from you xx
+xavierdelslay Thank you so much for watching and supporting I'm glad you liked it :)
Even the simple act of reading the title calmed me down about the whole thing ❤️ THANK YOU! Because I _was_ nervous 😅
This made me feel so much better. I get mine out tomorrow morning. I already have anxiety naturally, so I was really nervous to do this. But thanks for this video!
You're welcome and I'm glad it could help!! I hope everything went well :)
Caitlin Metty I get mine out this Wednesday
How was it???
how was it?
i’m so happy you made this
mine are getting out in like 2-3 months and i was nervous, but now that i know you’re completely knocked out and don’t remember a thing, i think i’m okay!
It's actually pretty calming! I was super nervous at first but it's just like taking a long nap :)
For me it's the anticipation of the appointment and the gagging/vomiting/nausea and dry socket or infection that worries me. Most people are afraid of needles, but I'm ok with that.
Thank you for this! Very very helpful and I feel less nervous about having to get them out now!
I'm glad, thank you for watching :)
i really thought this was helpful ☺️ love ur channel sm
+Melanie I'm glad to help, thank you for watching :)
Thank you so much for this video!!! I'm getting mine out tomorrow and you made me feel so much better about the process. I'm still scared, but not as much now. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

I had mine out yesterday, anyone else have odd dreams on the IV and especially after surgery?
I'm not even scared that much, Im more terrified of the needle even thought i have some tattoos 😭
Just look away, I can't stand the sight of needles
Tamara Sorbo yo same
Thank you so much for this video! I'm scared one day if it ever has to happen to me! thumbs up!
+MsTeeTalk Thank you!! And don't be scared, hopefully you won't have to!

Kaylin Styles you’re welcome!! Tell me how it went and if you have any questions :)

Honestly, the only pain that I had was with eating afterwards! Other than that, it was mostly just discomfort. Good luck :)
mia.notmya I'm glad that you didn't have a horrible experience. Thank you, and thank you for sharing your experience!
ByShawny damn there’s one thing that makes me grateful to live in the u.s.
Did you take them all out in one session?I took out one and got 7 injections on my gums was a very painful scary experience and the recovery was not easy.I think i will go for knock out to get the remaining 2.
Did ypu get pain around your eyes? Like headach sprt of?
Thank you for the great information. How old were you in the video?
Thank you. you made me so much more calm. im more worried about the IV than getting my teeth out. does the Iv hurt?
After anesthesia wear off how many hours did you feel worse pain? Did the pain killer help u in a minute only and it wear off
I had over sedation and do not remember the surgery just waking up after and the going home to veg out on the couch.
I'm going in for my consultation tomorrow. I have a wisdom tooth that's coming in, its pretty painful. I will most likely have to get all 4 taken out. I'm really nervous about it. I'm glad girl :) I hope all went well! It's really not as bad as people make it out to be :) Maybe just the eating part afterwards!
Thanks. How old were you in the video? You described it very well.
Getting mine out in like 8 hours and I'm so nervous.. hope I don't choke to death..
Don't be nervous, everything will be fine!! :) It'll be over before you know it.
mia.notmya how long did u wait to eat normally again?
It took me a little over week :/
mia.notmya im on my 4th day man, it sucks haha
mia.notmya hi I have a question did u get nauseous from the medicine after u woke up??
I had mine out just a few hours ago. I went on GA. Don't remember anything and woke up 2hours later haha. I was fine 30min after I woke up. The Aneathetic assistant said the stuff we use here in Australia is different to the USA. Not as strong but it does the same thing.
The stuff I got knocked me OUT. That's so awesome how theres differences in medicine in different countries :) I hope you recover well and thank you for watching xx
mia.notmya Im on my forth day after surgery and Im fine now. Swelling is gone but I still have to take my meds. No pain killers though. Back at work.
Mark Deo Yess I was out for like three days and then day 4 was ok! Glad everything is going well :)
you are so pretty ♥
+LISA LORLES BEAUTY. You're like flawless that's such a huge compliment coming from you thank you so much!!
I get my out tomorrow morning at 9 😩
I hope everything went well :)
Danielle Davis how did it go ?
How was it???
Also I'm going on vacation a week after my surgery... Do you think I will be healed?
And it most likely depends on your healing rate, but I think that it takes longer than a week to be fully healed :)
I took my 4 wisdom teeth out yesterday and I taking ibuprofen every 6 hrs and Tylenol every 4 hrs but it doesn't help at all!!! It hurts so bad😟 I'm only 15 and I wish I waited little bit
I'm getting all 3 of mine out (only have 3 🤷🏻♀️) in 5 days and the only part I'm really scared about is the IV and going under tbh. Any advice???
I hope everything went well and I'm sorry for my late reply! Always with needles just look away and think of you being somewhere else. Trust me it freaks me tf out too.
I have three wisdom teeth too! Getting mine out today and hope I have the IV. The doctor never discussed it with me.
Wait for the one that you took does it involve any needles ?
Yes! The IV that was put in my arm was a needle sadly. I really didn't feel it though since it's so sharp!
I was at the gym and received a call from my dentist to remind me I’m getting all of my 4 wisdom teeth removed tomorrow At 2pm i am so scared but your video has made me feel much better♥️♥️although I’m still nervous I am supposed to go to Rosarito for Cinco De Mayo celebration😭😭 hopefully I recover by then 😂🤞🏼
Omg how did it go?! I'm glad my video helped, thank you so much for watching! :)
Wait what age were you when this happened? And was it expensive?
Had my wisdom teeth cut out when I was 18 years old in operating room and I know this is rare my dentist told me I had 6 wisdom teeth and I only had 4 of them removed how weird is that?
Hmm, yeah that is weird, cause your other two could possibly grow up sometime. Maybe he's waiting to take them out later? I'm not sure...
mia.notmya Idk I'm 25 now
They only remove the teeth if they pose a serious problem, or are predicted to pose a problem. Otherwise they avoid the traumatic surgery
im so afraid of the day when i have to get my wizdom teeth out. cuz im afraid off needles and surgery and I CANT DRINK ANY PILLS SO THAT MEANS I CANT DRINK THE PAIN KILLERS 😭😭 im 14 and i still cry and scream when i have to get any shots😭😭
It's not as bad as you think trust me!!!
I'm getting all 4 of my impacted wisdom teeth removed in 2 days with IV sedation and I'm terrified! It's so irrational, but I always worry. :(
I was really scared too but what got me through it was just talking with the doctor and trying not to think about it.
I'm glad it wasn't bad for you!!! :)
I have really low pain tolerance and I'm absolutely scared
I don't have to get them out it's just that I'm a little nervous
Trust me I was too but it definitely was not as bad as it sounds!!
+mia.notmya That's great! Yes, you're very thankful! It's amazing!(: Mind subscribing to mine channel?
Asia MeKole I Subbed!
+mia.notmya Thanks!
The most informative video.
Thank you so much :) xx
Hi I know this video is almost 3years old but The dentist told me I need 4 wisdom teeth’s out. And the operation may take 2hours. Also they don’t do general anesthesia here and idk why. I don’t want to sit for 2 hours of looking at them taking out my teeth. Any advice?
I would just try to see if they have any anesthesia or pain killers at all. You can be transparent and let them know that you feel uncomfortable with being awake! You might be able to find a different place depending on what your insurance will cover. Let me know how it goes!!
Today is my third day. My face is extremely swollen and it has been like that for two days. I have no pain and I don't feel anything.
That's good, that's how I was too, just get tons of rest and eat soft foods!!
I know this was made a year ago but can someone tell me if the iv is like the thing that you put in your arm? I just want to know because I know that it doesn't hurt I'm just curious. (Got blood drawn recently for first time)
Yes it goes into your vein in your arm :)
Ok
Do you feel pain at all during the surgery? Can you feel them slicing open your gums a day drilling your teeth out? Or do you not feel anything, not even a little sharp pain during the surgery?
If you're on General Anesthesia you shouldn't feel the pain or remember anything. You would be knocked out.
Did it feel really fast like you fell asleep and a few seconds later u woke up?
Smilewithbena yeah!! He literally said close your eyes and try to sleep and I don’t even remember when I knocked out it was that fast
4 out at once...your tough as nails :D on a side note seriously the lighting is so good!
+Josho Thank you so much! I think I've found my filming spot haha :)
mia.notmya ahah most definitely! I 100% know the pain of searching for the angle and spot :P
When u went in did they make you wait 5 months or was that your option
They just told me when I could do it next!! It wasn't my option, but I wasn't fighting it haha I was terrified!
2 years after and now I’m watching this I didn’t see this right away but I ended up getting my 4 wisdom teeth pulled out and it was really scary and I had real bad anxiety and I don’t get anxiety that much
hi when you get the stitches does it dissolve away?
Yes the stitches dissolve :)
Great facts loved the video!!!!
+viviana del Toro thank you!!
welcome
you're so cute! love your sweater :)
+Hayze Thanks chica, you're so pretty!!
I am getting six wisdom teeth out {I have two extra} does it hurt your mouth to eat/drink cold food/drinks.
Yes it does hurt your mouth for the first 5 days and then its uncomfortable for the first week after getting the surgery done!
Bt why u decided to remove ur all wisdom tooth
I got mine out this summer and it was alright, except the pain meds made me soooo sick!
+Emily Charlotte Really?! I was just super sleepy whenever I took them, its crazy how everyone has different side effects!
Hey I have a question so would please answer for me
How old were you when you got all 4 of your wisdom teeth removed cause I am only 14
I was 15 :)
mia.notmya wow only one year older then me
muqadas emaan im 13
I have to get my canine teeth exposed too
Mines next month
How did it go?
Getting all 4 of mine taken out in 5 days! The only things I am worried about are going under after the IV, just because I’ve never experienced any sort of sedation. And also I am worried about how long my recovery will be. Luckily needles and blood don’t bother me xD
Honestly, I was super worried about it too, but it is literally like you fall asleep and then wake up once the procedure is done! Don't worry!!
very helpful tips Mia good thing mine fixed into place so I didn't need to get them removed I was confused when the dentist told me lol idk how it happened:P
+RickyGreens UGH so lucky!!!
+mia.notmya lmao kinda but sometimes I suffer from tooth aches so I'm not so lucky lol even though I'm kinda used to it:P
I'm getting mine out today at 12 wish me luck
Good luck!!
Ok, how did it go?
How was it????
Thank you so much not as scared!
+Ms Frankieoes I'm glad to help! :)
Very scared, mine are being pulled out in 2 months and I'm really afraid, as a child I had to get the gas to knockout and I was tripping with bad. Ever since ive hated the gas, I'm terrified.
Don't worry, when I got the IV and gas mask on I don't remember even falling asleep. Everything will be okay and good luck!!!
Thank you very much, you've lifted my spirits ;D
That guitar music what is it?
I’m so scared I get all 4 out tomorrow and I’m 13 how long will my checks be chubby/puffy
Omg girl you're so young!! I hope it went well!!
I have a lower wisdom tooth that came out sideways and the dentist told me to take it out over a year ago. I still haven't got it taken out. Lol. Very informative video though!
+NimKay Thank you! And my bottom ones were the ones that needed the most attention, but you're lucky you only have to get two out!
I have horizontal impacted wisdom tooth on lower left. Doctor told me it's a big tooth near the nerve. And I have my extraction under general anesthesia. I am scared. I have seen videos in which the tooth near nerve can damage it and can cause permanent or temporary numbness😢😢
You don't need to worry about that! Your doctor will make sure that situations like that will be avoided. Good luck and don't be scared :)
So you got sedation and local anesthesia correct?
Yupp!! Doubled up!
im 12 and might have to have some teeth removed because i have VERY small mouth and part of that is because the orthodontist i saw is crazy and thinks that your teeth need to come perfectly together and ive never had surgery or stitches before so im terrified
omg I got one wisdom tooth out when I was 18 and my dentist told me I would need to get the other ones taken out I didn't do it but when during my last pregnancy I got all of them taken out at one time. it was not fun lol great video thumbs up
+Nalia Rose Thank you so much and yeah it definitely isn't fun but you gotta do what ya gotta do
So Im getting all 4 of mine out this friday and im scared cause of the Iv part cause im extremely scared of needles
Honestly, it just feels uncomfortable for a second and then it's done! Just look away and distract yourself with something and you won't notice it :)
I get mine out tomorrow.
its 12 rn and im getting them out at 8 tomorrow and i am SO scared omg
How did it go?!
I'm 13 and I'm getting mine tmr at 2pm my dentist said they r going to put me to sleep and give me laughing gas
How did it go??
I'm getting 3 of mine out Friday and I'm super super nervous
And I'm 14.
Hey how did it go? :)
Gurl I'm so scared lol but you did make me feel a lil but better
Girl you got this, once you're done you'll think it was a piece of cake xx :)
I'm 15 and just had mine out. In so much pain! Lol
Yess the hardest thing for me was figuring out what I could eat since it hurt whenever something touched my mouth!!! I hope you've recovered well xx
How long did it take for swelling to go down?
About three weeks!
in 5 days I’m getting two impacted wisdom teeth out, and my canines won’t come down so they’re cutting the gums open to expose them and pulling them down with a chain. i’m so anxious I can’t sleep at night, i have a panic attack almost every day, and i’m terrified. i’m mostly worried about the pain afterwards and this video helped a little, and it’s the only one that did, so thank you :)
I'm sorry that you're experiencing anxiety like you are though :( Don't worry too much, just trust the process and know that in the end, everything will be okay.
Mia Switzer thank you :)
How did it go?
I’m about to get all 4 out here soon
How did it go?!
I’m getting put tf out I hate the dentist so much but this video helped me w my fear so
I hope it went well!!
how long do you think you're conscious with the iv until you fell asleep?
oh and this makes me feel a little better about it. how old were you when you got them removed?
This was just about over a year ago so I was 16! I think I was conscious for about 3 minutes, if that, once they give it to you just close your eyes and it will be over before you know it :)
I got my wisdom teeth out yesterday of 4 of them and they care take care of me yesterday i feeling nervous and scared about it
You're going to be okay :) Nerves are normal but everything will get better.
Thank you so much
i just had my lower right wisdom tooth extracted feb 6 th they finished arond 1230ish pm started around 12 maybe by th etime they started. the actaul extraction itself, not counting the waiting time of getting injected with stuff was mabye 5-7 minutes. the tooth was fully erupted. and straig.t but my issue is i am48 so i know most get it don in teens or early 20s. and the older yo uare th eharder it is.
however. it wasn't as bad as i thought. and yes. the one singe thing i worry the most about is doin geverything to prevent dry sockets.
acutally today the 9th of february which at 1230 pm would have been exactly 3 fully days /72 hours. i did take advil and tylonal in the monring but tried to not do it and it is 1030 pm same day and i haven't taken anymore yet. and my pain is a 1 , maybe 2 tops. i think i am close
How long did your swelling last?
Bianca Mines for me, about 3 weeks! It takes around 2 for them to heal to the point that it’s comfortable
when does the pain go away?
Mine lasted for a little over three weeks!
I got you all beat lm pushing 60yrs old and just getting my wisdom teeth out.
i told my surgeon to use extra knock out drug to keep me sleeping as im resistant. i woke up right after my first wisdom tooth was pulled and felt the other 3 get crushed after the gums were cut around them. i paid close to $1300 for this and i have a super high pain tolerance. Not once after beginning did they check if i was awake. Im glad to have my wisdom teeth removed in a sterile environment but this was torture. im pulling my own teeth from now on
jeff lund thats so scary D:
