    Hello ASL Heroes!!!
Hey, I could really use your help.
If you’ve enjoyed having access to an expert in ASL you can help me continue my work for you.
A small monthly donation from you would instantly make a big difference here at the studio because teachers don’t earn much and I could use some help paying for server and domain hosting for Lifeprint.com.
Right now you can help out a humble (not to mention kind, caring, generous, compassionate, helpful, friendly, fair, and hard-working) ASL teacher -- just go here and a few clicks later you too will be a true “ASL Hero!”

    Thanks!
    - Dr. Bill
p.s. Want to have your very own USB drive with four semesters worth of ASL instruction (that’s the equivalent of two years of colleges classes) for just $79.95? See "SuperUSB" in the ASLUniversity bookstore at:
    lifeprint.com/bookstore/bookstore.htm
Take care and love to you all.
    :)

Bill Vicars Hi! I’ve been watching your videos for quite some time now. I’m teaching myself but of course finding it very difficult. While I learn from you videos, they are somewhat fast and i can’t always see the hand shape. I would love to use these videos to actually study. Is there any site, youtuber, or books you personally would recommend. (P.S. I always instinctively turn up my volume on your videos because I can’t hear. 😂. Every time.)

Ding Ding, My suggestion is to go to my website and click on the individual vocabulary links first and then the sentence links and THEN after you have done that come back to this channel and watch the corresponding instructional video.

Hi Dr. Bill, what's the sign at 28:52 mean, where you had a stuck-up/fly sign on top of your index finger?

    • @sign-language
      @sign-language  4 года назад +3

      Hello Ray!
What you are seeing is a sign we tend to label as "ALCOHOL."
      See: ruclips.net/video/JXTbfO89GTE/видео.html
Note that both handshapes are the same shape (a "horns" handshape which is sometimes called a corna handshape).
Memory aid: The distance between the index and pinkie fingers on each hand is about the height of a shot glass.
