It's great to go to these hidden gems. If this was ITALY they would be exporting the dosae mix for 200 INR per kg and when someone else tries to make this. Say this can be only made with this rural rice and wood fire frona specific local wood, on a tawa that is atleast 10 years old. Then sell all these articles at a premium in outer markets. We as INDIANS should value what we have and generate a perception that helps our food industry.

Halaguru is my wife's place. We are very glad to see you there Krupal Sir. This is the hotel we generally get parcel from for morning breakfast. Hot Idlies goes very well with chutney they prepare and ghee Dosa will be owesome to taste.

Almost 13 years ago I visited Bangalore and Mysore and the most memorable thing about that trip was food and Kannada people. During that trip I realised that South Indian food that we eat in restaurants in Rajasthan are not even close to the authentic food served down south. If any local of Banglore is reading this comment plz recommend a nice place to have an Authentic Kannada food or any local dish. I might visit there in next few weeks and it'll really help a foodie person like me. Thanks.
There are many such small hotels in karnataka which serve delicious meals in such small hotel setup and that too some in between gorgeous farms. U cant make out from the look of that hotel that u will get such awesome mouth watering meals in it. Karnataka needs a means to be explored for tourism.

Chitranna is different from puliyogare/pulihara.. Chitranna has lemon for the tangy flavour and the puliyogare has tamarind.. Both dishes taste different.

Almost 13 years ago I visited Bangalore and Mysore and the most memorable thing about that trip was food and Kannada people. During that trip I realised that South Indian food that we eat in restaurants in Rajasthan are not even close to the authentic food served down south.
If any local of Banglore is reading this comment plz recommend a nice place to have an Authentic Kannada food or any local dish. I might visit there in next few weeks and it'll really help a foodie person like me. Thanks.

There are many such small hotels in karnataka which serve delicious meals in such small hotel setup and that too some in between gorgeous farms. U cant make out from the look of that hotel that u will get such awesome mouth watering meals in it. Karnataka needs a means to be explored for tourism.
U are awesome sir , U are the only one who goes to the hotel where common folks eats daily. This is where you not only get nice food but also hearty welcome and gracious smile from the people

We are enjoying idli and Dosa every day. We Andhras called chitrannam as Pulihora
Chitranna is different from puliyogare/pulihara.. Chitranna has lemon for the tangy flavour and the puliyogare has tamarind.. Both dishes taste different.
