I don't agree because you have to be selfish or somewhat unsecured (afraid to open up to people who can see your shortcomings) to be too comfortable being alone. Someone with potential who is a giver cannot be too comfortable being alone. People are becoming more and more selfish and unsecure that's why they prefer to be alone and build the habit to be comfortable being alone. Sometimes we need to be alone. But when we are too comfortable being alone, then it's a problem. If you are too comfortable being alone it will be hard to accommodate anyone in your life, you will become disable for relationships. That's why we witness parents who don't even enjoy the company of their children and want to chase them out of the home when they are young adult. And even children who don't enjoy the company of their parents or siblings. These are problems that results from loss of moral and family values in society. People are also becoming too harsh and merciless that it's better to be alone than to share life with them. But that's not normal. We are social beings and it can be confirmed with children who like to discover people and be friendly with anyone. We like to discover people and befriend them. It's embedded in us by default. But we should express that quality wisely.
