I actually appreciate you not talking. Every other video people like to explain things. Like... it's so refreshing. So, thank you. Ps it isn't too long, very straight forward.
Taken from an instructional designer, this is very well done as an instructional video. Very simple, basic and logical instructions, written in simple text with good sequencing and great quality video. 2 thumbs up!
For those wanting to know, yes this strategy works. Make sure to boil it on the Kettle at 100 celcuis or else its not affective. A tip is so boil it with water after with vinegar just make sure there is now residue. :)
be sure to not fill, at least, over half of your kettle's capacity with the vinegar/water mixture. As the bubbling reaction between deposits and vinegar shows, if you fill too much, it might boil over and spill. I place the pad and kettle in a shallow pan to collect any spills or you can surround it with a towel just in case it boils over.
Well....i have jus tried/done the Method.......AND BLOODY AMAZING...jus BRILLANT....and the Video...yes like below comments...Easy,Simple and Stright to the point...this gets my 10 out of 10 EASY......
You should also avoid buying kettles with gauges showing how many cups are in the kettle, limescale gets into the sides of the windows and eventually causes the kettle to leak. The worst design for leaks is where the gauge is built in under the handle.
it cleaned most of the buttom and then i used a spoon to take the white walls down very easily. now after i ran it a second time the kettle sounds like it went back to its new state. i never knew that it had slowed down because of all the white stuff 😂
No, not OK. Too concentrated. You need to dilute it to avoid corroding the kettle. Just logic, because I'm not an expert. ...LOL Follow his instructions to the letter and you can't go wrong. I do it every month now after watching this video. It's cheap and keeps the kettle working well.
I would not recommend using vinegar in a steam cleaner unless it is recommended in the manufactures instruction booklet. The modern steam cleaners are manufactured down to a price. The internal parts are inferior, using vinegar or other chemicals could prematurely corrode the internal reservoir tank.
+HowToDoYourself Thank you for the prompt response. Manufacturer recommend their own descaler sticks. i believe these are chemical or acids too. Not sure if these acids less strong than vinegar or not. no idea what the manufacturer descalers made of.

Careful second thumbs up cancels the first one😂
Great video. Note: You can use the vinegar mixture to kill weeds in your driveway instead of roundup.
