This game shines as a drafting game. You have to make sure to have enough Draw 2s, removal, cost 0s etc. There are no mana curves or different colored resources but the composition of your deck still matters. I find it more interesting than MtG drafting because you're less restricted. The "Dark Draft" format which is explained in the rules is my favorite way to play. The gameplay itself is often about positive trades over multiple turns, until your opponent can't answer to your threat(s) anymore.
Thanks for sharing. I'm kind of on the fence with this game. It's mechanics still make it feel like a third-party Magic knockoff, but that doesn't mean it can't be enjoyable.
Finally an excellent card game that is not trying to constantly make you buy boosters to stay alive. I have a basic MTG game-the one that gives two sets and allows for game play. If you stay like that and don’t add more boosters-even though you will lose against hard core MTG players-it is similar to this. I refuse to add more cards. I understand it’s “collectible” but that’s just code word for “give us your money or you will lose each time you play against others”.
That was also the thinking behind the card game I self-published, 52 Dragons. Just a quick card game you can play without spending a fortune. Thanks for watching.
Want to watch me unbox this game. Check out my video here -> ruclips.net/video/lwfIDgMBzSc/видео.html

❤ this game
I haven't played it too much, but I like how it has kind a of old MTG feel to it.
@@TabletopJason it's a nice, quick, mtg-ish, fun time 4 sure!
