Losing that shuttle with two reavers was brutal.
This kind of flop is what separates the top from the good
He literally had dragoons in the undefended nat and knew the turret was there cos it shot his shuttle earlier... kinda bizarre mistake
Probably nerves going insane
The little turret that could.
1. I love how Nyoken is unbiased. Showing empathy for YSC despite it being protoss vs his *favourite* terran, he understands that Light got incredibly lucky that game.
2. Unlike some other casters of ASL, the commentary is actually on point about the game, instead of irrelevant blabber.
3. Prompt uploads
4. I love how often Nyoken's predictions are immediately falsified despite them being very reasonable ahahahaha.
Some minor feedback:
A) avoid showing the time bar if possible (embedded within the VOD itself) as I specifically use an anti-spoiler add on for youtube, really don't want to see the amount of time remaining in the vod, because that can spoil results.
B) If possible, unmute from the time the pre-game countdown starts so we can hear the crowd cheer.
Please support us so we can continue to create content like this! :)
That first game wow.
Thank you for great casting Nyoken!, been sick in covid for a few weeks ,this has by far been the hightlights during this period.
Solo casts are tough. You did a great job!
Jaedong's ZvZ "coinflip matchup" was 80% WR when he was in his prime :). Also, Shine vs YSC, the overlord you focused on didn't see the highground cannon, there was another overlord in his base that spotted that cannon.
I love Nyoken casts, just as much *if not more* than tastetosis!
I love how TY is casting brood war, I'm well aware of his accomplishments from SC2. Great guy.
Shine is one of my favourite SC players of all time.
This is gonna be a good video :) Can't wait.
Well if you like actual analysis of the game play this is far superior than tasteless mentioning a zealot hiding behind minerals or terran units being permanently damaged vs toss every two sec 😂
@@8Baller1000 Your words not mine ^_^,

Shine vs JD 40:18

Elimination match 1:18:08
Final match 1:33:15
Thanks Nyoken for these great casts!
Amazing content as always and yeah the shuttle being lost with the 2 reavers was one of the greatest upsets in recent Protoss history lol
Thanks for the cast! Tragic first game but happy with the results!
Jae красавчик конечно, классно сыграл
Great solo casting! Keep it up
good too see JD advancing
Great games. Thanks for the cast :)
I will never get tired of watching LIGHT smashing ugly zergs. Love that dude
Light killing his own depot like it's WC3 and somehow it gives exp.
Buildings do not give exp that way in Wc3)
literally shouting at my screen at the end of games 1 and 3 lmao
I came for StarCraft, stayed for jaedong.
imagine going 12 nex vs *shine* of all zergs lmao.
Best morning routine, some Broodwar
what's that star next to your name?

@@bennyten Ah thanks you
love you nyoken
Great casts keep it up !!!!!!!
jD made the ro16 off of the back of his ZvZ alone. He needs to step up to make the playoffs, however, as there are barely any Zs left, or his ZvT will be the end of his run.
his ZvT is fine, his muta micro is pretty good actually
As long as Soulkey is in the ASL zerg is the favourite to win.
His zvz has been weak lately, this is a huge improvement
I spoke too soon
terran being broken on full display today
That first game just showed the UNIVERSE SIZED GAP between Pros and Almost Pro.
Straight facts. Why didn't he move his attacking goons up next to the only 3 tanks terran had left to defend his main!?
Snow, Mini, Bisu, Best, Rain would all have converted that
@@acardioxc Snow would've won with just two reavers no goons at that point
ysc is literally pro player. He played asl many times, you dont get in asl more then once as amateur. He just made horrible mistake
@@andronis6452 a pro player WOULD NOT have made such a basic mistake, that's the entire point. Just making into the ASL doesn't make you a Pro and this first game showed it, also Motives Game vs Rush, Is Wico a "pro" now?
I've seen enough
Can we not upvote spoilers in the comments guys? Like I just clicked on the video and a huge spoiler was in my face before I even could full screen the video. Also thanks so much Nyoken your a hero ❤❤❤
ZvZ was the longest game 😂😂 JD looking better ❤
The only saving grace is we wont get another two terran advance. Or maybe we will, maybe YSC will switch to terran and win along with light
🎉
damn man poor YSC, half a second of mismicro...
YSC... I mean he's 1000x better than me, but still, such a noob mistake. That turret got 2-3 shots on the shuttle before killing it, so he had ample warning. And why was he microing the shuttle at that point, there was no need, just let it chill for a bit, he was uncontested in the natural. It's decisions like these that separates the "greats" from the "really good".
Awesome
G1 when pros will start using shield battery?
How important is the shuttle and reavers? Just make battery next to the robo. It would win the game.
Tesagi
Spoiler
The tyrant is back! He looked strong
kind of odd to me that the race that can build stuff anywhere no matter what refuses to build production outside of there main. obv not that simple but still odd to me. Just a B rank zerg here so 1/2 grain of salt
tesagi as always
it always amazes me that more people don't see the blatant imbalance
tesagi is real but light is easily best player in this group
Every time a mine explodes, I could hear the distant rumble of a thousand keyboards typing taesagi
How did nyoken think JD was in a good position? His third was late and light had good supply. He needed to use the mutas to harass and slow down the bio ball.
He killed a lot of scvs and if the lurkers were like 4 seconds sooner, he would’ve easily defended
Deffing with mutas is an idea also
primarily the factory delay imo, but yeah I think he was just trying to make it seem closer. Light was still gonna have enough vessels to deal with defilers
@@Redtornado6 Or if his mutas were at nat a few seconds earlier
im thr 101 like :D
I'm stupid but each group there's only 1 loser right?
2 losers. Group of 4, 2 advance 2 are eliminated.
2 games to start. Winners play for an advance. Losers play for elimination. Then 2 remaining players play and winners advance
@@Sc9cvsd Thanks. This whole time I always thought it's only the loser of the losers match that gets eliminated lol
