Just been to Heron's myself, always get my frozen vegetables from there you can't beat the value.... Alan's a lovely guy isn't he, wasn't in there today but all the staff are smashing people.
I`ve had to cut down on my fat intake after an issue with the Ticker last year so when I have a Kebab now it`s vegetarian =Vivera Plant Shawarma Kebab(lovely-really similar to kebab meat minus the grease),shredded Iceburg,fried Onions,Mushrooms and Garlic+Cruicials Yoghurt and Mint dressing sauce and a pile of chips.Tasty and feels like you`ve eaten something really naughty .lol

Try out Indus kebab house sauce. It is quite good. Certainly better than some other bought sauces. Medium hot with a nice mint and garlic flavour.And perhaps Tamarind? Got it from Morrison's. Also i love the pickled long finger chilies . So cheap and great on a Elephants leg kebab
now you have been recognised you can now say you are a legend in your own lunch time 🤣🤣🤣 , and that doner meat looks better than the thick greasy slabs you can buy in bags (if they sold doner meat like that in packs id have a freezer full) and theres a company called crucials and they do sweet chilli , chilli mayo , mint sauce , bbq sauces and im sure they do more flavours , you can get them from b&m , asda and i think iceland and you pay about £1 for 500ml.
I remember seeing a roadkill hedgehog once, and apart from the spikes it had a very strong resemblance to that quote kebab unquote……. However, being a confirmed food masochist, I’d definitely give that doner a go…..

I was expecting you to say this but as I'd bought mine (and a beef kofta from the same maker) specifically as beer snacks no problem. After a few Stellas most things like this taste okay. I always bin the chilli sauce though and use Maggi brand Indian ketchup instead (from Lidl.)

Oh god, I went in Heron's last week as I always do, and saw these micro kebabs. I too had a good one from the freezer recently, really wasn't bad and was quite impressed, but I forgot where that one came from and also forgot I had watched this video completely - on the very same product [from hell]. It was bloody vile and I'll eat anything. The second one, I toasted the bread and added fresh onion and cooked the meat squish jizz splop for twice as long as stated and was marginally better. I ain't wasting it. ;) Urgh though, never again. They should be ashamed selling that muck! Snacksters not Heron's, and I also thought it was Sharwoods and failed to notice the copycat design, too!
We use leftover meat from our Sunday roast, and make our own kebabs. We add salads and sauce.....delicious!!!!! Much healthier cos we know what's in them!!!
Nice review. Like all these easy to warn microwave dinners I bet this one may have had more flavour if you would have sliced it up and quickly fried it. Otherwise it looked dry. 👍
Looks like a sandwich. I did like the frozen doner kebab from Tesco. Easy Chef. Found it to be best of the bunch in terms of frozen kebabs. Found that doner meat in a bag from Iceland good as well.
Yea had these before old ones had chopped onion in but these chop a bit of onion up tiny bit of salad mix with salsa chilli sauce put in fridge perfect for when you come home half cut n have munches ....once again I'll help you out lol have you tried the bags of kebab meat n chicken tika meat ? im not a fan
So the serving suggestion is best served with lots of lager! I've never had a doner, nearest i've come to is Gyros in Germany and Holland. Dont mind a chicken shish kebab in a resturant its not mystery meat and they can cook it so hot it has a different flavour to when you do it at home.
You should try the Crucials sauces, they sell them in Iceland and most of the other supermarkets and discount stores, they are only £1 👍 and you definitely need to try the No Bull vegan burgers in Iceland. Keep up the good work Marra 👍👍

I use Heron in Hessle, Hull a lot, For me the doner kebab was nothing special but the beef kofta kebab was pretty impressive for a microwave snack, I added chopped lettuce and red onion to finish it off which really helped, would have that again but they've run out, it seems more popular than the doner version.
It looked absolutely disgusting. Even after necking 10 pints of Bodies I still wouldn't be tempted. Well done Bald Foodie Guy for taking 2 bits, and survived to tell the tale. 10 out of 10 for courage. I've just subscribed. 😂
Trying this (new white packaging Snacksters brand) as I watch this 27-11-23 The ratios have change as has the price, £1.80 30% chicken, 14% mutton, 1% beef {it's all mostly collagen and fat of all meats with lots of spices} Trying it with iceberg lettuce and red onion - smell wise, 107‰ CANNOT complain!!! Taste wise - The mayo is limp and doesn't have much flavour, The chilli sauce is decent enough with sweet and sour notes and more than enough for someone who not keen on red hot spices (unlike me!) overall, for what it is, it tastes pretty well 😊😊 not anything like the real thing BUT the "real thing" is currently much more (about £9.50) than the £2.37 I spent (50p lettuce and 7p onion)....its a very decent taste, severely lacking quantity and authenticity but pretty decent in its own right, it'll *never* fill you but also, you know you ate! 10/10 for taste, 4/10 for overall value - local "decent" donner is about £9.50 but could easily last 2 meals with a decent punch of freshness.... I see this as a £2.37 starter for one.... Like bring on the real kebab, you've just made me monstrously hungry for the next course! In this case.... It's over priced rubbish... You'll really, really enjoy it, but feel Mc'ds level ripped off when you are hungry afterward.... Local kebab £9.50, *stuffed* halfway through with still something left for breakfast!!! Spend wisely brothers!!!

It would go well with shredded baked lamb to make your own kebab. I bought a jar of Masterfoods Maple Bacon Burger Sauce. It's delicious on any kind of fried chicken. @@BaldFoodieGuy Thanks for asking mate. Well the rain has stopped for now, back again for a few days next week. Huge shortages of leafy greens and veggies. The iceberg lettuce shortage has almost put a stop to anything salad. It's being cut with cabbage to stretch it out. Supermarket salad greens mix bags are very few and far between atm. Funny though, where there's shortages in some things, there's a glut in others. Prices are through the roof. No shortages there 😕 Electricity, gas and petrol prices have gone beserk too. At least during winter the fridge isn't working so hard to keep cold and chewing the power. I've a funeral to attend today Friday 17th. A lifelong friends son committed suicide. He suffered mental health issues all his life. He did like Jameson Irish whiskey. So we'll be toasting him a few drams at the reception. 😀
What makes me laugh about people's opinions on these microwavable snacks is that they come on like Gordon Ramsey yet what they fail to remember is these snacks cost £1.50 here in the UK.........what were you expecting exactly?!!

Wrexham town centre is derelict the council wrote the booming town off many years ago with there parking and new out of area shopping centres Many people now choose to drive 12miles and avoid wrexham for free parking and better shops and service
The meat looks like the patches my fitter uses to mend punctures on my truck lol but I suppose they serve a purpose if you need some munchies sharpish and don't mind eating that sort of thing cracking video as usual keep safe out there from joff the trucker

Have you seen the bags of frozen donner meat in home bargains or chicken tikka I prefer these one's from farm foods too I add salad to mine

Yes not as good as the one previous which you enjoyed. The Dona sauce sounds interesting. It would go well with shredded baked lamb to make your own kebab.
I bought a jar of Masterfoods Maple Bacon Burger Sauce. It's delicious on any kind of fried chicken. Check it out, if it's available there.

@@BaldFoodieGuy Thanks for asking mate. Well the rain has stopped for now, back again for a few days next week. Huge shortages of leafy greens and veggies. The iceberg lettuce shortage has almost put a stop to anything salad. It's being cut with cabbage to stretch it out. Supermarket salad greens mix bags are very few and far between atm. Funny though, where there's shortages in some things, there's a glut in others.
Prices are through the roof. No shortages there 😕
Electricity, gas and petrol prices have gone beserk too. At least during winter the fridge isn't working so hard to keep cold and chewing the power.
I've a funeral to attend today Friday 17th. A lifelong friends son committed suicide. He suffered mental health issues all his life. He did like Jameson Irish whiskey. So we'll be toasting him a few drams at the reception. 😀
What makes me laugh about people's opinions on these microwavable snacks is that they come on like Gordon Ramsey yet what they fail to remember is these snacks cost £1.50 here in the UK.........what were you expecting exactly?!!

I got the same sauce in heron 2 weeks ago 59p each or 2 for a pound,November 22 date.
Just buy a kebab. Saves all the messing about with reviews . Looks rubbish. Still love ya videos. Watch you till 3 /4 am. Your keeping me up all night. ❤

Wrexham town centre is derelict the council wrote the booming town off many years ago with there parking and new out of area shopping centres
Many people now choose to drive 12miles and avoid wrexham for free parking and better shops and service
The meat looks like the patches my fitter uses to mend punctures on my truck lol but I suppose they serve a purpose if you need some munchies sharpish and don't mind eating that sort of thing cracking video as usual keep safe out there from joff the trucker

I thought it looked a bit rum when you opened it but was hoping you might say... it's actually great, even better with salad on, but I wont rush out to buy one after watching this. Thanks for sharing though. I will stick to a 4 quid one from the local kebab shop with all the trimmings on haha.
