Ya I did it’s cool
Just out of curiosity what does Sky pay their engineers/field techs for a yearly salary?
22k basic a year. Bonus is a complete lottery to get it based on customer feedback/revisits any bad feedback or revisits and you can kiss your bonus goodbye. Worked for them for almost 10 years and left 2 years ago to the amount of stress this company caused best decision i ever made leaving. Working all hours including weekends just to get jobs done to complete figures for managers. Not to mention managers sitting round corners spying on you with no notice seen so many engineers lose their jobs over health and safety issues hence why their always advertising for jobs.
stevejigga So the 30K a year is BS?
Ya, that's too low for what you guys do.. An average Directv or Dish Network tech can pull in around 45-55k here in the states.
Jezza Us sure is
exactly same setup as BT, same shite different company
so today i was looking forward to have SKY Q in my new house, and AV SATELLITES couldnt done it today. Many reasons bud trees in front of the house, and my roof for not been made of tiles . So after 4 years with them i decided to finish my contract with them. They found more excuses to add this to my home. Shame we dint have you ANDY you probably would it done it.
