This bell combination was heard on some Amtrak and Metra F40s back in the day. The chord was a purely happy accident, as the changed notes of new cast bells were never intentional. When combined in the right ways with other stock bells they made for some very musical sounds. Horn collector Elwood Belknap had one that sounded just like this, and he helped me re-create my own copy. This is the first time it has been heard in two decades.
