My routine is to brush the shoe, apply saphir renovateur, brush the shoe, apply the saphir 1925 shoe cream one shade lighter, brush the shoe, then apply saphir mirror gloss to the toe and heel, then use the saphir vegetable oil on the sole and then voila, the shoes are ready.

I'd like to say how much it is appreciated that you, Hugo, and your team, make such an effort to use English in these videos: it's so enjoyable to hear, understand and enjoy. I feel somewhat uncomfortable when people comment on semantics, pronunciation and small inconsistencies with the translation into English. I believe anyone who attempts to speak in another language should be praised and thanked! As a native English speaker (actually, I speak a dialect called 'Scouse' ;-)), I ca only imagine the effort it would take to present a show in English if you are a native French speaker. So, bravo to you and your guests.
    Merci
    Tony

Quentin's silver skull ring seems familiar. I own a very similar one, maybe even the same design.
It's fascinating in this day and age to see people's reactions when you tell them you actually take care of your shoes if they are not sartorially inclined themselves. I only recently decided to not keep my shoe maintenance tools in a shoe box in the closet anymore. Bought a simple cherrywood chest with enough room for all the brushes, cloths and pots and it's sitting proudly on the foot of the coat rack. People love it, but when they ask what it is and you tell them, they act like you're making a joke.

The RUclips algorithms ‘found you’ in the summer of 2021.
I watch your videos quite regularly and have enjoyed them.
One of your videos discussed shoe polish. I bought from Amazon Saphir Shoe Cream.
    What an amazing product.
I use it on my shoes, sone of which are vintage Dior and Salvatore Ferragamo
I also use it on my Celine vintage handbag which is a dark green which I bought a few years ago

This is very interesting for me, I have learned mostly from Japanese shoe shiners. The process looks the same but the Japanese tend to like using their fingers instead of brushes to apply cream and wax. It's interesting to see how French masters do it a little differently.

Another rule of thumb can be based on the aggregation state: the more liquid it is the more likely it is to moisturise (and/or clean!), the more solid it is the more likely it is for shining.
Thus follows that a lotion mostly moisturises and mildly cleans (see for example Saphir Creme Universelle or Burgol Leather Milk), a cream or pomade does both moisturise and shine in roughly equal measure (see for example Saphir 1925 pommadier or Burgol Pomade), and the wax delivers shine (see for example Saphir Mirror Gloss or Burgol Super Gloss).

A sartorial joke: A guy is on his honeymoon in Niagara Falls and breaks the heel off his shoe so he brings them to a local cobbler to get fixed. They leave and he forgets to pick up the shoes but keeps the repair tag in his wallet as a memento of his honeymoon.
Twenty five years later he and his wife are back at Niagara Falls to attend their daughter's wedding. To his amazement, the cobblershop is still in business so he drags his embarrassed wife there to present them the repair ticket for some laughs. Trying to keep a straight face, he hands the ancient repair ticket to the clerk who looks at it quizzically then disappears into the back. He hears some discussion and rustling in the back while he and his wife look at each quizzically. Suddenly the clerk reappears from the back and says: "I'm sorry, we've fallen a bit behind. Can you pick them up next Tuesday?"
