I just discovered this game on the NES. I'm on my first play-through, and lvl 83 is giving me resistance. It is very helpful to watch you play; you are incredibly skilled. Thanks.
You are playing with or without the bosses? because with the bosses is very hard. The SNES version is pretty easy compared to this, including the Super hard in VS COM.
***** With, I think. It is just "A" type, and faster paced music plays while it drops tons of stuff on you. I'm on lvl 98 now. I plan on playing the snes version next. It is amazing how quickly you get better; you begin to "see it" after awhile. Truly an awesome puzzler, but my first love will always be the new tetris for N64.
pocket83 The A type is the simpler one, and the B type has the bosses. Try the Snes version with the hardest option accessng by a little trick you know when you 1st complete the game in VS COM

It just takes practice, but overall, I managed to beat all 100 levels, and get the ending in BOTH Mode A, and Mode B. Most other puzzle games it's nearly impossible to reach that far, or get the "ending."
When I was younger when I got to Warios castle it was the coolest moment because no one in my family got that far and I did and when I beat it I was like yes fuck you Wario I beat you ltook a long time but I got him lol

Seriously, Nintendo, we need another game like Wario woods just so I can see that rivalry becoming a thing. It fits well, even if it’s usually “Wario hates Mario, Mario hates Wario”, I feel like Wario shares his hate with the both.
Am curious how competitions were done on the sattelaview, as wiki states that competitions could be also done on the sattelaview, not sure if you could upload your high score trough the sattelaview to a board system ,may at certain times,

If it is, it is a coinscidence that you talk about it, because a little over a week ago I was watching a lot of Super Metroid, metroid 1 and 2 speedruns and ended up reading about the unofficial remake that was made. I was watching speedruns from Super Metroid to see what the community can do and also because it’s one of my favorite games and it was this game that started me in the world of speedruns in 1995, when I didn’t even know this world existed, Maybe I will try the NES version too. Your idea is interesting and daring. I also like to propose challenges to myself. Nice to know that you are fine and still producing content.

***** I would disagree here. The VS. Com - Extreme Mode (in the SNES version) is a lot harder than the NES Type-B Mode (with bosses).
Anna Maus For me, it is a lot easier, maybe I have to practice a little more on the NES Type-B Mode

I kinda prefer the NES one, because it had bosses in the "Round mode" game, but the SNES one still had some cool features. A good yet underrated game.
I was playing the NES version with the bosses and it's very tough to reach level 100.

Believe it or not it is easy due to the same levels over and over but due to Wario's insane thumping I lost 3 times when going to 255 with one life.
