  • @bennychan9730
    @bennychan9730 5 лет назад +1

    The last question is Really Ridiculous. If the sport was made in a way when "not good enough" players are still guaranteed a living, then wouldn't alot of people start taking things for granted and not work hard? Training to be a pro athlete is not an easy task. The determination in order for them to succeed is beyond one's imagination. Ask any top pro athlete in any sports or watch their life documentary. We get inspired by the top players because of the dedication and sacrifice this players have put in for a really long period of time in order to train to such a high standard.
    Seriously, these reporters ought to ask better questions. I may be harsh about my opinion here, that's why I think Nadal answered her in the best possible way. He was really being nice TBH.
    Anyway, is it me or do the reporters sound more tired than the players after their match? Guess they don't have as much passion for what they do than the pro players have for the sport, therefore resulting in this lame questions.

    Just one more time to make it clearer --> Spanish and Italian are LATIN languages (so is the culture, costumes, habits, food, attitude, humor etc....). This seems very difficult to understand by Anglosaxons.
    Apart from that little detail (all the Italians are latins, also people from Quebec are latins....these are Scientific/historical/anthropological facts etc....) very interesting press conference. It is quite obvious that Rafa is very happy with the beggining of the new season. Where is going to be the challenge for Nadal this season???? Knee?? Djoko?? ....Many questions for an exiting 2019!!!!!!

  • @Hussein_Nur
    @Hussein_Nur 5 лет назад +4

    Damn, Rafa opponents always come on court with the intention of blasting the balls. As he mentions in his first answer. Its either out or in, they dont think about it very much. I wish those type of players would just play tactical tennis. Thats much beautiful.

    • @trevorlongley8995
      @trevorlongley8995 5 лет назад +1

      Truly its the only way to stand a chance against him. And players know that if they don't play lights out, go for broke style of tennis, he's just going to have his way with them. Prime example was Thiem against Rafa at last year's US Open. He came out blasting, and pushed Rafa so hard, that that was the match that essentially ended Rafa's 2018 season. The thing is, that is an extremely high risk style that is not entirely sustainable over 5 sets. You have to take the racket out of Rafa's hands, not many players can do that, but that's the only way to beat him.

    • @InfinityX2
      @InfinityX2 5 лет назад +1

      Just as Trevor mentioned you are sure to lose against Nadal when playing tactical (then again going for broke is also a tactic). Going for broke against Nadal can also create insanely interesting matches. To prove my point -> Dustin Brown v Nadal at Wimbledon, which is in my top 3 most entertaining matches I ever saw

    • @Hussein_Nur
      @Hussein_Nur 5 лет назад

    • @InfinityX2
      @InfinityX2 5 лет назад

      Hussein Nour a good comment is never late ;). What I meant to say is that Dustin in that match had 1 tactic and that is too keep ralleys short and attack literally EVERY ball. Be it with blistering returns or drop shots and all out serving. And stick to that throughout that match.

    Rafa and Novak will play in the sun every single day yet again while Rog just plays his Tuesday night club matches at night with Rod Laver cheering him on in every match in the front row yet again, like his little lap dog. If Rog actually does play in the day time this year, no doubt it will the day it is 20 degrees max. Well done Rog, winning yet another slam with complete favouritism in every possible fashion that could be given you just to pad out your stats and make money for the ATP while satisfying nursing home residents throughout the world. Boring.
