Wowzers! Those were all Big cuts 👀 Looking forward to see how she/he pops back up again. If that video from Nigel is anything to go by, it shouldn't be a problem. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you J 👍🌹😊💖
Thanks Karin ! Sometimes I have a habit of calling plants and trees he or she or " that guy", I dont know why ! lol , I dont with anything else. Oh well, yeah supposedly it should come back fine, but thanks for crossing your fingers for me !
@Zen Bonsai Hiya, well......I'm a beginner and so are my twigs in pots lol! Have lots of them but no where near to be called bonsai. I have the 1 tree and it's a Juniper Itoigawa, 29 years young and given to me by a good hearted soul. As for video's, I only watch and talk here on youtube 😊 Nice "talking" and see you around for sure 👍🍁
Hello..I love Ephourbia milii. I have few varieties of them. If you put them in cool and light place it will gets blooming all time. Have a blessed Sunday
Thank you Guy, it was coming back nicely but then slowly started dying on me. Not sure what happened. The cuttings however are doing unbelievably well so I will likely pot one of those up 😀👍
Cool video J! It looks good! COT's as we refer to them here are prolific growers, our big one even seeds out. I've found cuttings that have just dropped that I missed rooted to the ground... Lol
is this a tree which has small pink flowers? i have seen the blooming one before. i learn a lot of things about bonsai through your videos it is a lot of fun. thank you
lookin good sir. been following u for a bit now n thanks for the tips. im in alberta Canada n wanna start my own jus want some more info on things ill need tools n everything
Thank you. I would just start out with a pair of pruning or bonsai scissors, tweezers and larger pruners like you'd use to prune fruit trees. A small bonsai rake would be good too.
I just use a water soluble all purpose fertilizer, a pinch in the watering can about once a week. Here is a good video on bonsai soil. ruclips.net/video/p522AYawgOI/видео.html
J, it seems that you and I are at a similar point of bonsai evolution. (Pre Bonsai) Nigel is my inspiration but Peter Chan also has an interesting approach (albeit from a nursery perspective). I am choosing to follow Nigel’s approach as it seems, for me, to be why I got me interested in bonsai. I’m curious if you’re following any other channels which will take us on this journey, from our novice experience, Thanks. Matt
Hello matt. I think I'm in line with your thoughts, I also learn from others I'm subscribed to and finding more channels as time goes on. Just a great helpful, friendly community !
@@BonsaiJCan i dont have... i dont really have a big knowledge about it but i just love to have plants and taking care of them since i was a kid... i used to have a garden way back home😊🥰
Hello! My father makes bonsai in the garden into a dragon shape. But to me it looks like a mouse face😂🐉🐁 My father also takes care of garden bonsai and trees🌲🌳
I could not help but wince when you were grabbing the base with no gloves!! You are brave J!
Thanks, yes I had to be quite gentle, I think i had to pick out a small one later though.
It turned out awesome J, great root work too!
Thank you Nigel. I had a lot of fun working on this yesterday.
What does this crown of thorns look like now? Did it recover? It would be cool to see an update video. Thanks.

Very nice root work. Great start to a radial root base. The tree should respond well to your efforts. Looking forward to future updates.

I'd love to see it again!
Looks like it’s off to a great start. Good luck.
Thanks Matt, I'll be more at ease when I see some growth return.
You are a brave man working with this species. 😥😅😅... I love the two toned elliptical leaves.
Thanks Jared, they are cool aren't they.. It'll be interesting to see it come back.
Very nice. It certainly needed a hard cut back. I am interested to see how it will respond 👍
Thank you , it's going to be interesting !

Turned out great! This looks like it brings a level of danger to Bonsai! I would injure myself working on this thing.
Thanks, well I did have to pick out a couple spinies when I was done lol
i have one bonsai but i dont know what is the name of the plant but its pretty cool, easy to maintain and beautiful
Nice, do you have a video about it ?

Hi dear friend! thank you for your kindness to me and my dog🙏🏻♥️ My dog is getting better and better.Thank you so much🙏🏻✨🌳🌱🌿
Another good video! what editing program do you use ?
Thank you Micheal, I just use a dated movie maker supported by android on an older cellphone.
It's interesting. For me to watch where you choose to skip things off. Especially when you were working with the roots.
I find it very interesting doing root work as you never know what your going to find when you expose them.
no follow up video ? did you kill the Plant ??
video hay quá!>>>ghé nhau nhé!
Cảm ơn bạn, tôi hy vọng bạn thích!
