@@Alcinaswifefrfr I felt relieved even though the scene was sad. I was starting to get worried that Marvel would ruin this story and cast him as Nicolas instead of Billy.

This was easily my favorite ep so far, and this is already in my top five marvel *things* ever and we’re only halfway done. This cast is absolute fire. Legit got emotional multiple times in this episode.
I can totally see why Agatha thought Teen was her son. He appeared at the same time as the person who took him, he's magical, and he was inexplicably drawn to her. All of that, and the identity sigil almost feels like the universe playing a cruel, elaborate prank on her.
Her son is probably one of the hooded figures in the second episode. They are supposed to be the Salem 7 who are all descendants of Agatha and they are led by Nicholas Scratch who is Agatha's son
Rio say she might not have been brought DOWN to the Witches' Road, as she said "or UP." She is a DEMON from the nether regions somewhere BELOW. So that means she IS Mephisto's daughter Blackheart (in the comics it's a son; MCU gender-swapped) & probably was tasked to take Agatha's son --- "it was my job." & Eric Voss will be sobbing cuz Teen is now revealed to not be Nicholas Scratch.
I'm absolutely obsessed with the chemistry between Aubrey Plaza and Kathryn Hahn and i absolutely 100% need to see more of them together. Wow their scenes were amazing.
She played a mutant personality in the show Legion. Which wasn’t exactly a “witch” role. But she did play a character with abilities most humans do not possess.
I'm vibing with this cozy, spooky, funny show. They all look like they had so much fun filming this. RIP Sharon - I think she may have died because they never added her hair to the potion in the bougie beach house.
Great Episode!!!! I am really enjoying this show!! Favorite scene is the group singing together; utilizing song as a spell to break the curse. I also loved how they worked together; even without “power” to use their innate knowledge and experience to help the Teen to heal!
My take is that it wasn't actually Jen who healed Teen, but Rio. Agatha literally begged Rio to not take him ("don't") and I believe Rio listened because it was her (as Lady Death) who had to take her son away from her way back when, as debt for the power Agatha craved. That's why she hates Rio and was so heartbroken during her hallucination. I also don't believe Rio was telling the truth when she told her Teen is not her son. I'm still thinking Teen is a "mutant" soul of both Nicholas and Billy and was the one who died in the accident that's mentioned in the credits and first episode. That would be a perfect way to set him up for future MCU projects and also wrap Wanda's/Agatha's storyline up. Me thinks Agatha is going to sacrifice herself to save him at the end 🙈
I'm freaking loving the show, it keeps getting better and better! And your comments make it better too! I love when Hector explains the lore and connections to the comics, since I'm not familiar with those, big big thank you. Also, regarding Wanda, I really just want her to have a happy ending. She's been through so much already. She grew up in a war zone, lost her parents, lost her brother, had to kill the love of her life, lost her children, lost her lover again, lost herself (when she realizes she is a "monster" in MoM), and even when she tries to do good, the people and the news portrait her as bad (as seen in Civil War). She deserves a break!

"You guys don't have extra nipples? I'm covered in nipples; want to see?" Okay, sure, Aubrey Plaza is typecast with lines like that, but... I'm here for the quirkiness 😂
I'm starting to think Rio isn't a witch. She didn't emerge from the spot they were summoning a Green Witch (could someone still pop out of that spot and catch up?) She's the only supposed coven member who isn't cursed during the trial. And she makes a cryptic comment about coming *up* to the road rather than going down. I'm not saying it's 🎶 Mephisto All Along 🎶 but...maybe? 😬
In Wicca, we put a "k" at the end of magic to differentiate between human magic and witches' magick. Basically, "magic"=rabbit from hat and "magick"=practitioner of the Old Religion.
My new head canon: Rio is THE green witch (the human form of the Life/Death cycle) Agatha did something (or more likely DIDN'T do something) while questing for power that resulted in the death of her son Rio had to "take" his soul (it's her JOB) she can't "bring him back, but she can "fiddle the reincarnation paperwork" When Wanda created her children, Rio guided souls into them (Nicholas' soul went into Billy) Neither twin has (or had) any real memories of their former selves, just... deja vu feelings When the hex ended, more "paperwork" melded their souls into their current forms
The 3 of swords in traditional tarot means pain and heartbreak. It is one of the most painful cards in the entire deck. Lilia is clairvoyant, so she is releasing small symbolic clues of what is coming through channeling. Regarding Rio, something tells me that she is death. The work she must have done that hurt Agatha possibly has to do with her son. Perhaps, around the time Agatha made the exchange for the Darkhold, Rio came to claim her son.
Rio say she might not have been brought DOWN to the Witches' Road, as she said "or UP." She is a DEMON from the nether regions somewhere BELOW. @oliviafrancis-g7y i know that people were theorizing she's Lady Death but I didn't know her identity was confirmed. I'm just saying she's blackheart based off of the black heart reference in episode 2. I don't think they're going to have Mephisto in the series, so it just makes sense to have his son (or daughter) appear instead.
@@thehuntsman8341 makes sense, they seem to be trying to lead us away from their real identity. Like they made teen seem like Agatha’s son and rio seem like blackheart
Yup. She say she might not have been brought DOWN to the Witches' Road, as she said "or UP." She is a DEMON from the nether regions somewhere BELOW. So that means she is Mephisto's daughter Blackheart (in the comics it's a son; MCU gender-swapped) & probably was tasked to take Agatha's son --- "it was my job."

In that comic series she's on her own trying to put back together a life, while dealing with the aftereffects of her actions over the years. She then focuses in on what she is, and is good at, magic, and goes from there on her own. That would be cool to see adapted!
I agree with the prediction of the teen's identity, it seems like the most likely options are that he's Wiccan or he's Mephisto or some in some way related to/product of/result of a deal with Mephisto.
I think Rio is the demon who made the deal with Agatha for the darkhold and her son based on two things that demon didn't even touch her during the trial and what she said about Agatha being her scar

What if the line "that boy isn't yours" means something else. Like, the boy is Agatha's son, but since she gave him up when he was a baby, he belongs to the one that Agatha traded the book for. Hence the boy is not hers anymore.
Rio's not a witch and she has actually told us who she is... that is if you were able to pick up on what she was saying but I think you guys were talking and missed it... she's Lady D****.
I would be ok if 616-Wanda stays dead. But it's worth noting that we have old school witchcraft and multiverse stuff in the MCU, so Agatha or another witch should be able to call another Wanda into existence, thinking they resurrected the dead one, but in actuality just pulled one from another universe. And if that Wanda never encountered the Mind Stone, she wouldn't be an Omega level threat, and could very well owe her witch powers to being a mutant, and may even be a child of her universe's Magneto, thus neatly tying up multiple comics origin stories.
25:40 - She may be willing to play the character NOW, but she bashed Marvel after Wandavision and walked away from re-signing her contract. It is EXTREMELY DIFFICULT to get a company like Disney/Marvel to work with you after saying the things that she said- regardless of what she is saying now. In their eyes, she died in the film- why on EARTH would they want to bring back an actress who was non-committed to the role? It makes no sense and would be a role of the dice that could risk a lot on Marvel’s end. If she DOES come back, it will be as a small part in the next avengers film in 2026. Again, huge risk in doing so. They don’t have any film slots or TV slots open until 2028. Everything has been announced, none of them are “Scarlet Witch” films.
