Man, I'll give you my 2 cents from Australia and try to help you improve based on what i see. While you get a chance to see it. I must see a lot because RUclips keeps hassling me with badges saying I'm in the top %0.025 of Taylor viewers each month 🙄😅 First off, in 2 weeks time your going be over 3k subs and you'll have over 500 comments min per vid, so it's impossible for anyone to read them all. And we understand so don't stress over replying to everyone, because you can't. Then you're going to run into a lot of copyright probs, some guys plaster a massive COPYRIGHT txt over the video. But if you can, learn how to make the ones that maybe restricted half transparent. You'll be fine, it's usually the Disney owned stuff. Long Pond Sessions etc. which is really good by the way because she puts a lot of commentary and context behind each song. Ppl like lyric videos, so even if you go song by song on an album, ppl seem to go for short videos but that could eat up more of you're time, i don't know. But I've noticed ppl average 4k plus per lyric video as opposed to 4k views on the whole album. I guess you can still do a full album review in one go, just do the lyric video versions and drop them separately over the following week or 2. You sort of need to game the system a little. wink wink Go for live performances where ever you can vs studio. The EAS Channel has a lot of her best live videos, and they're all in 4k. Of course pull lyric videos off Taylor's channel. I also noticed those who chop the song up to skip ahead for commentary, don't get the same numbers as those who let the whole song play out. Because most times, they cut out the best part, or pause on the climax of the song. And that makes us go GRRRRRRR 😅 Also don't limit you're self to her albums, she has heaps of content like the behind the scenes, i.e.; the making of All too well, fortnight etc. 1 other thing ppl love and a lot of channels don't do, Is her Victoria Secret fashion shows. OMG I don't know why they don't cover them. If you want to check those out start off with the fallout boy one, I'll see if they let me leave a link so you know what i mean. Lastly, just be real man, be yourself and have fun. I think you're doing so well straight away because you are so natural in front of a camera. It's like you're actually speaking to us and not to a camera. Often you see first videos of people and you can tell they are a bit shy and awkward and don't know what to do with themselves and they are acting differently to how they would naturally talk and act in real life.

This an allusion to Dorthy and William Wordsworth some of the aforementioned lake poets the song is inspired by. They challenged what poetry could be in their time and were ridiculed for it. The press refered to them as the lake poets in a derogatory way. Today though their names are remembered as revolutionists in the craft. In this same way Taylor is ridiculed by the press and public of today telling her the value of her music as a talent but also with her label selling her rights, it Also refers to the literal monatary value of her art.

i highly recommend reading The Posthumous Memoirs of Brás Cubas, it's a satirical novel narrated by a dead man reflecting on his life and society. A TikToker who was doing a books from around the world challenge became so captivated by it that she developed an obsession with Machado de Assis and Brazilian literature. I've made it a point to myself that I will take my time and fully digest individual albums before moving on. I also don't want to rush something out and end up not fully appreciating / understanding it
I love that you pointed out the wordplay, another wordplay moment is when shes says " some name dropping sleaze tell me what are my words worth". This an allusion to Dorthy and William Wordsworth some of the aforementioned lake poets the song is inspired by. They challenged what poetry could be in their time and were ridiculed for it. The press refered to them as the lake poets in a derogatory way. Today though their names are remembered as revolutionists in the craft. In this same way Taylor is ridiculed by the press and public of today telling her the value of her music as a talent but also with her label selling her rights, it Also refers to the literal monatary value of her art.

A TikToker who was doing a books from around the world challenge became so captivated by it that she developed an obsession with Machado de Assis and Brazilian literature. It's such a genius work i think you would really enjoy it!

My favorite line in this song is “I’ve come too far to watch some name dropping sleeze tell me what are my words worth,” as she name drops William Wordsworth, a well-known poet who also famously went to the Lake District to live out the rest of his days and die there. The double meanings she puts into so many of her lyrics are absolutely astounding.

Super great reaction. There is a running joke that one needs a starter kit for folklore and evermore, it's a dictionary. Taylor also loves to read. I too love reading, but as life gets busy, I don't get to read as often as I would like.
It really is a shame that for most of us, as we get older there just isn't time to read as we once would have.
I think literature and art is so core to the human experience so I'm trying to connect more with it.
