I have to say, going from "this isn't working" to "oh, that's bad" right before the headshot is a great change. Really sells the casualness/callousness of the meat-shield moment :D.
0:09-0:13 - This might surprise most of you but the voice of Mr. Tansu is none other than veteran voice actor, Corey Burton who you may have heard in every project he’s done at Disney from voicing Captain Hook, Dale, Ludwig Von Drake, Yen Sid along with Count Dooku & Cad Bane from various _Star Wars_ animated series and games, Brainiac in the DC Animated Universe and Shockwave in the 1980s _Transformers_ cartoon. Honestly, it’s quite amazing to see Corey Burton in an Anime Dub considering outside of his participation in the dubs of the different Studio Ghibli films _(Castle in the Sky, Kiki’s Delivery Service, Princess Mononoke, Whisper of the Heart, and Porco Rosso),_ _Batman: Gotham Knight_ and the _Kingdom Hearts_ video game series, Corey like with every other voice actor who works in Original/Pre-Lay Animation (e.g. Tara Strong, Rob Paulsen, John DiMaggio, Grey DeLisle, etc.) normally does original animation voicework for Disney and/or Warner Bros. as it pays better than anime dubbing, along with the fact dubbing is all technical which means the voice actors have to match the lip flaps of the characters mouths on screen and that there is no preparation as it's just listening to 3 beeps on the headphones and on the 4th imaginary beep they say their lines of dialogue through the script on screen. So literally most of these voice actors including Corey Burton would rather work on a Pre-Lay animation project that gives them more freedom in the recording booth (while also doing improv and ad-libbing) and work alongside the other voice actors in the same recording session instead of a dubbing session that restricts their vocal freedom and pays very little.
Man, the credentials of this entire dub cast are so solid. English dubs are best when you get voice actors with credentials other than doing anime dubs, in my opinion.
@@omegashark1837 Yeah Corey Burton’s voice is very distinctive depending on the characters he voiced be it Captain Hook, Yen Sid, Dale, Ludwig Von Drake or doing an impersonation of Christopher Lee (Count Dooku, Ansem the Wise), Paul Frees or David Warner, but it’s his old time radio-esque voice that makes him unique in the voiceover world.

That moment when Namari reflection is visible in the undine is a masterstroke of animation.
You can hear a little grunt in Senshi's voice when he's interrupted by Marcille 😂 both versions too
I love how Marcille is adjusting to the wiredness of eating monsters now

The comedic timing on the camera when Marcille cuts off Senshi explaining how nutrients are absorbed is so good.
