Chilchuck seems like the straight man of the cast, but Marcille is definitely the most relatable character in this series.
Nah i dunno about yall but im entirely with Senshi and Laios. The monsters are made of meat. They would waste away if not consumed. Its easier to carry spices and ingredients and implements then processed food.

I like how Chilchuck is genuinely shocked when Marcille says she freaked out because he called her a burden. He was just made aware of his words, and that's rare in anime nowadays.

Emily Rudd put her heart and soul into this performance, just like she did in One Piece.

The English VA does an incredible job of matching the the tone of the original voice. Also that "Æ" at3:02 is excellent.
You're one of the few people I've seen who knows what sound Æ actually represents. (Aah, not ayy.)

@@DragonaxFilms That's really funny then, because you nailed it: It's the short, high A as in "cat." Given how common a sound it is, it's weird there's no fully clear way to spell it in modern letters, but I guess "aeh" could work too, which would make the original makes sense.

日本の剣と魔法のファンタジー作品はコミカルな作風が多いけど、海外のは結構設定をしっかり守る硬派なイメージだからそう感じただけです

@@FULLofJOHN also vanitas no carte, ancient magus bride season 1(except for the mc), SK8 The Infinity etc like they just not translated but also added stuff to give the dub more personality.
I like how the dub team matched a lot of the energy of the JP dub, including some of the vocal sound effects, like when they were telling her she'll be a burden on the team if she gets injured, and she shouts "guuhhh!!" even in English
