@@SomeDanishChick low end PC check it, mid/high end PC uncheck it Dunno why it’s better on, on a low end PC but this deffo does help on higher end PC’s with it unchecked
For anyone wondering this does not fix the recent random stuttering issues that started since Dragonflight Pre-Patch. Seems to be either Driver related or the game itself.
Thank you so much for this! I'm using this for 10.1 so some of the options weren't here but this has really helped me. I was having serious lag issues this past week in Valdrakken and now it's running smoothly. Thank you!!
Thank you so much! Ever since Shadowlands dropped, my laptop stopped running smoothly at Ultra/High graphics but now with everything lowered, I can finally run it like a charm 😊
Vertical Sync i recomended enable on laptops. Most of laptops get really hot in gaming and have most 60hz monitors. Vectial sync provide to have stable 60fps and not more. In this case latop will not overheat in low usage zones and still have max fps for monitor.
Great information. In between jobs and was collecting parts for a new build when this decision was made. I decided to just use an old laptop with a crummy GPU that is super low end. I had turned everything down before and undervolted the GPU with great success. Before it was running at 70-73c and with how thing this thing is, it was burning my hand. After having undervolted the gpu, the laptop was down to 64c which is more manageable AND the frame dropped from 74fps to 54fps. Which these tips and not adjusting the graphics from where they were before, the fps increased from 54fps to 77fps constant. Will have a new job within a week or two and then I will resume ordering the remaining components needed for new PC. With that said, I will of course run max graphics AND do these settings for best performance on that machine too.
Good one. Please note that if you've set a hard limit of 60 fps for example via other programs or the gpu control panel, it may help you to set it to slightly higher in game. For me i keep the 'target fps' in game at 67, this way the dynamic downscaling will kick in before it hits 60 fps, which is the maximum allowed anyway.
My man, thank you so much for this! Never had a channel go through settings I was not even aware of! I changed to what you have and it drastically improved my FPS! To be clear I am running a Samsung 32" 1080 and a Gigabyte 32" 1440 both curved monitors. I was frustrated because I was not getting the FPS with my Gigabyte which should be 165hz refresh. Now it's usually hitting between 144-165 solid! Thank you again!
