I'm intrigued by the swapping out of the headmaster's execution to a flash forward of Makoto's execution! Whether it's stylistic or suggesting this is a time loop/restarting after a bad ending, I love the choice either way!!

I'm curious, what exactly is the process here? Some of the lines are word for word from the game, so the main writer must've been given at least some lines of dialogue as context, right?

Huh... Yeah, yknow, it's moments like that beginning where I realize that the execution music REALLY takes away from the dread I feel during the executions.
Which, didn't really make sense to me at first, but then I remembered that Monokuma's whole schtick is taking sadistic pleasure in tormenting the kids, trying to pass off evil as good, and being an oddly friendly if trolly entity despite locking them away and forcing them to kill each other.
So OF COURSE the executions he crafted for the kids would be blatantly contradictory in their tone.
Honestly impressed with the voice acting here!
