    sir you're amazing, single handedly got me into larger scale printing and cosplay, I got the Sidewinder X-2, and Genius, and have made an iron man helmet, and working on redhood, I really appreciate the help

    Great video! For the textured fabric, a lot of it is a painted on texture. You could do the same thing making a pattern in a cricut (or probably on a 3D printer, or on a regular printer and being very careful with an exacto blade) and then airbrushing the pattern onto the fabric.

    For the back of the cowl, you should put the tightening mechanism for a bike helmet, that way you won’t have to reattach it every single time

    Firstly, Go USAF! I did 6 years active at Scott AFB. Thanks for your service.
    Secondly, I’ve been doing my own 3D printing and I run into the paint peeling often. I do try to stick to the same family of paints but it does still happen.
    Any advise or recommendations on what you’ve had the most success with; in terms of paint.

    Frankie l used the driver from those cheap remote led candles to to have remote controlled eyes. The flicker move even makes the eyes kinda pulse!

    Hey Frank, I have a quick question. I constantly switch my 3D printed projects and can’t seem to land on a specific one. What motivates you to complete a project? I asked Emily the Engineer and she said that custom painting one helps, but I also wanted to see your opinion as you haven’t created any custom painted suits. Thanks!

      @@stealthygaming4919 pretty much. If coding was required I'd never get into it. You pretty much just find a file you want and then slice it with software (all automatic) then print it

      @@stealthygaming4919 the only ever time you would ever (kinda) code something. Is to customize firmware for a new motherboard maybe, which you don't NEED to do at all

    Frank, I need to pick your brains about slicing parts smaller then printing and sticking together. For instance the mk85 chest in 4 bits do you ever find the half’s are different sizes when printed by 3 or 4mm I’m puzzled. Lol.

    When you use a paint that doesn’t take clear coats well like golds do you use anything as an alternative to protect the paint or just put on more coats of paint?

    I was using creality slicer and it made a majority of the helmet solid. now i can't put it on my head. i resliced it and had the same issue.

    Great job with this one, I'm working on a batman helmet for my 3 year old using pla but i want to make it as comfortable as possible, what kind of foam do you use along the cheeks and nose area? or is that just felt?
