sir you're amazing, single handedly got me into larger scale printing and cosplay, I got the Sidewinder X-2, and Genius, and have made an iron man helmet, and working on redhood, I really appreciate the help
Frank I just wanna let you know how Inspiring you are. Four months ago I had zero printers and no dreams about it, and now it’s my favorite hobby and I just bought an Ender 5 plus as my second printer
The amount of information you provide in all of your videos, testing of various methods and products is ridiculus, thank you so much for sharing, you legit save people money!
Pretty much everything I know about 3d printing came from you and your channel and TikTok Frank. I can't possibly thank you enough for getting me into this amazing hobby. You have an absolute lifetime supporter in me.
Great video! For the textured fabric, a lot of it is a painted on texture. You could do the same thing making a pattern in a cricut (or probably on a 3D printer, or on a regular printer and being very careful with an exacto blade) and then airbrushing the pattern onto the fabric.
I was looking everywhere on how people did the eyes while my DareDevil helmet is printing right now. Little did I know my search on the web would lead me to someone I was already subscribed too lol Great job sir and love the content as always and thank you for the tip on the eyes 🤘 17:44 Had me dying 🤣
So awesome! Great info and great paint on the helmet! I love your opening screens and the sponsorship segment was amazin! The time joke was funny also! 🤣 They are so good! It makes me want to watch daredevil
Firstly, Go USAF! I did 6 years active at Scott AFB. Thanks for your service. Secondly, I’ve been doing my own 3D printing and I run into the paint peeling often. I do try to stick to the same family of paints but it does still happen. Any advise or recommendations on what you’ve had the most success with; in terms of paint.
I'm 13 and I have an ender 3 pro and I want to be daredevil for Halloween and for comic con in September. I think it will take some money and patience but I'll try. It will be so cool.
"Not only print this off and scare my wife..." What a nice prank for an April fool!🤣🤣🤣 And that other one "It's on my head but it's not on my head." PAUSE!
Hey Frank, I have a quick question. I constantly switch my 3D printed projects and can’t seem to land on a specific one. What motivates you to complete a project? I asked Emily the Engineer and she said that custom painting one helps, but I also wanted to see your opinion as you haven’t created any custom painted suits. Thanks!
This video is really cool, I really want to get into 3d printing but I think that it may be a waste of money if I am not confortable with the coding and what not
@@stealthygaming4919 pretty much. If coding was required I'd never get into it. You pretty much just find a file you want and then slice it with software (all automatic) then print it
@@stealthygaming4919 the only ever time you would ever (kinda) code something. Is to customize firmware for a new motherboard maybe, which you don't NEED to do at all
Frank, I need to pick your brains about slicing parts smaller then printing and sticking together. For instance the mk85 chest in 4 bits do you ever find the half’s are different sizes when printed by 3 or 4mm I’m puzzled. Lol.
Hey Frank. I discovered your channel a few weeks ago and have learned a lot. Excellent work sir. A few questions: 1. Where did you get the light up lens? I may have missed it in your links. I have a Batman mask I’d like to use it for. 2. How did you make the 3D scan of your head? Maybe there’s a video I missed. Thanks man. And thank you for your service. Best regards.
When you use a paint that doesn’t take clear coats well like golds do you use anything as an alternative to protect the paint or just put on more coats of paint?
Great job with this one, I'm working on a batman helmet for my 3 year old using pla but i want to make it as comfortable as possible, what kind of foam do you use along the cheeks and nose area? or is that just felt?
I can’t believe how interactive you are with commenters! And how good you are at printing😄
Oh well thank you!
He even replied

Heck yeah man! Been wanting to redo one of these for a while now. Turned out amazing
Can't wait to see a version of the helmet from you Uncle Jessy. Been watching your videos as I'm trying to determine what resin printer to get.
Frank I just wanna let you know how Inspiring you are. Four months ago I had zero printers and no dreams about it, and now it’s my favorite hobby and I just bought an Ender 5 plus as my second printer
I've seen so many people try to make a decent daredevil mask. and this is the best
YEEESSSSS! I've been waiting for a high quality Daredevil Cosplay video for YEARS
The amount of information you provide in all of your videos, testing of various methods and products is ridiculus, thank you so much for sharing, you legit save people money!
I recently assembled an elegoo Neptune 4 Plus this thursday, im printing this exact helmet, cant wait to get into this hobby!
I'm actually printing a daredevil helmet and I also had the plan to fit it with the red led eyes. Looks really nice.
Dude that’s really sick you know wolverine’s helmet is always ready to be next
Yes!!!!
the leds make the mask look so good
I'm just getting into 3d printing and cosplay. Your videos have been so helpful!

Frankly thank you so much for these videos, you were the one that introduced me to 3d printing and this was very epic!
Same here
He’s a really good Lawyer
This video was amazing!😂
“Not risk this little point failing and falling over” man I wish I knew that before it failed like 5 times on me

I love how you had the same idea I did I wanted to get a pair of cosplay led eyes for mine
This video was epic! Thank you so much for making this one. Amazing job as always! 👏👏👏
So awesome! Great info and great paint on the helmet! I love your opening screens and the sponsorship segment was amazin! The time joke was funny also! 🤣 They are so good! It makes me want to watch daredevil
daredevil was trash.
watchmen was far better and won a record 11 Emmys.
That’s sick man, turned out better than I expected. Thank you so much for taking in my suggestion on making this prop!!!🔥🔥
Love this build, working mine now! Wasn’t going to add LEDs but now I think I am, thanks FB! Great video and tips!
Awesome this build was insanely cool keep it up
Spooky, I've just started watching the series and this pops up, great build
ngl, the nano leafs making up your logo is perfection
Great video and congrats on the ad spot!!
OMG ITS THE REALLY GOOD LAWYER
Great build. Looks great.
For the back of the cowl, you should put the tightening mechanism for a bike helmet, that way you won’t have to reattach it every single time
You're the best man, my buddy was so hyped for your message man!
1:32 this guy is a genius
Great video Frank 👍
I'm looking forward to printing this one 👍
amazing video as usual bro. your step by step make it so easy to follow.
still waiting for the HALO sword tutorial lol
That turned out great. My other favorite parts of the video was the scene with the Iron Idiots, and the return of the blooper outro :)
"You must have so much thyme on your hands" was an amazing joke, thank you for that!
The eyes look cool man.
Very nice build. Love the intro and the ad skit. Lol

this really helped hell skull helmet
Do you have a video on how you got your head printed and scanned, that’s a very useful tool when making helmets.
Looks so good!
Great job dude!
Let’s goooo now I can catch bricks that fly through windows!!!!
Grate video agin my man. I like how you did the weathering technique pretty creative.
👍👍🇨🇦
Can you make a video of how you make figurines like the ones you have in your background? Love your videos!
That's not a bad idea
No print timelapse? That’s the coolest part
The reveal beh got me laughing.
Keep up the great content man!
"Hello Karen, it's nice to see you again."
I love this helmet
Frankie l used the driver from those cheap remote led candles to to have remote controlled eyes. The flicker move even makes the eyes kinda pulse!
Mode not move!,
It’s called a head sock
Usually worn when wearing things like power ranger helmets
Nice shirt
Make a video on how to light up the arc reactor or hand for suit and where to add straps
Had to give it a like just for the intro. Lol
I'm 13 and I have an ender 3 pro and I want to be daredevil for Halloween and for comic con in September. I think it will take some money and patience but I'll try. It will be so cool.
Amazing. Can you make some some spider man related things, goblin mask or bomb, web shooter or doc ock arms.
dude!wow-incredible !take care! 😉
What is a cosplay prop you would recommend for someone who is starting 3d printing?
I absolutely love this, sad how we do not get the cosplay led eyes here in India :(
Say you didn't take the wiring for the led eyes out, how would you hite the battery pack?
Can you do a tutorial for making his homemade S1 costume
I need a tutorial on generating supports and playing with the hotleys and shortcuts you are using.
What kind of filament did you use ?
What if I don’t have windows? What could I use instead of cura or mesh mixer. Also amazing job!
dang, he must be a really good lawyer
when i watched the 2003 movie i htought the helmet looked like it was made of leather but i could be wrong
3:45 i almost spit out my drink, i am not lying sadly
"Not only print this off and scare my wife..." What a nice prank for an April fool!🤣🤣🤣
And that other one "It's on my head but it's not on my head." PAUSE!
This is Awesome!!!
That's amazing👍👍
Please also built for Spiderman ❤

Frank can you teach me how to print a loving family??
This looks amazing! Do you think it would survive printing it right side up and blocking out the inside supports?
Could you make it where it expands over your head as you put it on using elastic material?.
What's the software or phone app you used to scan your head to a 3d model?
This video is really cool, I really want to get into 3d printing but I think that it may be a waste of money if I am not confortable with the coding and what not
You don’t need to code anything
@@FranklyBuilt oh ok, so do you just get a design that you like and print it? Do you need any experience with it things like it before hand?

what did you use to get a 3D scan of your head?
I'd love to get do one of mine, it seems super handy!
Is that regular chrome red window tint, or reflective is it a reflective type?
Hey man trying to find a tint film that matches yours. Any where I can find it?
I printed this last week! Can I ask where you found filler primer in the UK?
I used spray putty on Amazon
Frank, I need to pick your brains about slicing parts smaller then printing and sticking together. For instance the mk85 chest in 4 bits do you ever find the half’s are different sizes when printed by 3 or 4mm I’m puzzled. Lol.
Daredevil is my mom's favorite character.
thanks for this effort 👏❤️
Awesome! Can you do the Batman helmet?
Hey Frank. I discovered your channel a few weeks ago and have learned a lot. Excellent work sir.
A few questions:
1. Where did you get the light up lens? I may have missed it in your links. I have a Batman mask I’d like to use it for.

Ali express and I used the Revipoint POP scanner
Do you need the arduino for the iron man helmet
2:44 Arnold Murdock
When you use a paint that doesn’t take clear coats well like golds do you use anything as an alternative to protect the paint or just put on more coats of paint?
Nope. There’s no real other options.
How did you do the 3D scan of your head?
I was using creality slicer and it made a majority of the helmet solid. now i can't put it on my head. i resliced it and had the same issue.
Awesomeness I got a polyurethane one I don’t like it I would love to get this n black it out
Great video man! Curious how you are holding your strapping on the inside of the helmet?
Cyanoacrylate glue
Frank, my cura is taking forever to slice this helmet and sometimes crashes while slicing, ever experience this, and any tips? Thanks
I like those Mask you have when I can buy them
very cool
You should try do a Arkham Knight red hood helmet
Great job with this one, I'm working on a batman helmet for my 3 year old using pla but i want to make it as comfortable as possible, what kind of foam do you use along the cheeks and nose area? or is that just felt?
Was that a fuzzy insulation or just a piece of cloth across the nose and cheeks?
You should try and make a full daredevil suit from the Netflix show.
