Oh yay I’m so happy to see that you enjoyed this collection more than I expected you would, considering you’re usually more of a fan of cremes than glitters and metallics. Many of these polishes really are so unique!
I'm loving the glitters! Especially for the holidays. I like a "party nail" with glitter year round, but bling out all the nails at the holidays! Lol! Also loved the guest appearance from the doggie 😊
I bought 3 of them- Merry & Ice (my daughter has it on right now and has gotten a number of compliments) , Bring Out The Big Gems (my favorite- I love it when brands put out garnet shades), and Decked To The Pines (greens always catch my attention because there was a time when I didn't have many of them in my collection- that's so not the case anymore, but they still jump at me. 😅)
You are one of my favorite swatchers. I love how much effort you put into your comparisons, it’s so helpful! Thanks for all that you do! :D I’m not a huge fan of this collection. None of the polishes really speak to me.
Great video Laurie and congratulations on your 100,000 subscribers on Instagram! I am just amazed at these big holiday collections and can only imagine the amount of time it takes you to do these wonderful videos for us so thank you! I’m with you on your faves too and the lack of cremes. Really love the berry and green shades. Think I will pick those up and maybe the light pink one too 😍
This OPI holiday collection is so vastly different from the Essie winter collection! I honestly would think they are for two completely different seasons, especially since the Essie winter line was more fall-like. Not typically a glitter girl either but I've picked up a couple on clearance in the past month or so and they're growing on me...sloooooowly, haha 🙃
There's actually a trick that I learned recently. If you let the acetone actually seep into the polish for a minute or 5 (depending on the formula, you can just pull it off in one clean swipe instead of having to scrub! It's really changed how I wear polish.
Great review Laurie! My favs are exactly the same as your favs! I will be picking those 3 up for sure! I was totally disappointed there was only one cream! I am such a cream girl 🤣 But thanks for the great review and comparisons! xx
I thought I Pink It's Snowing, Decked to the Pines, Charmed I'm Sure, and Tealing Festive were the best in this collection. I did like most of this year's Holiday Collection, but I think last year's was better overall.
I love the light blue flakie one, I think it looks so icy, and I think it will be gorgeous in summer with a tan, also!! That is the onky one ai purchased.
I own every single possible colour of creme polishes you can think of (almost a dupe but slightly different isn't exciting to me) so I'm always very glad for fun finishes. I bought the green metallic that you liked and the blue metallic flakie.
I’m tired of the glitters too. Nothing beats a good crème for me and OPI makes my favorites. I’m also a bit bummed that they haven’t done anymore holos after last year’s holiday collection. I would have loved to see more instead of these glitters/metallics.
Not much of a glitter fan, although the baubles topper over black looks amazing for new years! My favorite is Berry glam for sure. I have many berry shades but can’t have enough! Spare Me a French Quarter is close and one of my favs. The other two I like are Charmed and big gems. Thanks for a great review!
I love most of these!! Loving the frosty ones. I'm not huge on glitters. I hate the removal. Lol There are even a few of the comparisons I want to pick up. 😁
Thanks for the lovely review I was waiting for this one even though I don’t think I’m picking anyone of them up I’m not much of a glitter or metallic person. I can definitely see some other people loving it though.😊
Thank you for a great review Laurie! I was waiting for it to help me decide what to get :) I too am a great fan of last year's Ready, Fete, Go. In fact I liked last year's Celebration collection better overall. I do think I'll get the bronze metallic and soft green one this year, and maybe Charmed, I'm Sure.
Thanks for the review. I was hoping you would compare Bring Out the Big Gems to a similar one in the Orly Autumn collection so I could see what they are like together on the nail but I have bought both and the OPI one is darker.
I have just started the video, but I must say, as soon as I saw this collection I was super excited, but my second thought was, “Oh no! Laurie is going to be so disappointed!” 😢
From what others have said, it seems to be, but slightly less packed with glitter and more silvery because the base it is in is so light. I love Pixel Dust!
Not a big fan of this collection! I do not like any of the metallic collections this year. Prefer more traditional colors for the holidays, that’s just my opinion.
I have to laugh because there are a few of us thinking, "Laurie isn't going to like this collection!" Not my favorite either. Nice review, Laurie!
Haha I know. I need to loosen up a bit don't i? Ha!
Oh yay I’m so happy to see that you enjoyed this collection more than I expected you would, considering you’re usually more of a fan of cremes than glitters and metallics. Many of these polishes really are so unique!
I seem to always find a few I love. Let's see if actually reach for them. I hope I do!
Congrats on 100k!
Just a gentle suggestion: “fete” is French for “party” and rhymes with “set.” (So it’s like Ready, Set, Go.)
But in English, British/Aus English, it is also a type of garden party (usually schools here in Aus) and it's pronounced "fayt".
Thank you 😀
thank you- i needed that !!!

I am so glad you are loving them ♥

Thank you so much for saying that. It means a lot!💜
Berry Glam looks incredible on you! Love the comparisons!!!
Thank you! It's an amazing color!

I love the glitters! I just hate removing them.😅 This collection is on my Christmas wishlist for sure. I already picked up a few.
I've noticed that too. Glitter and anything sparkly is very difficult to take off

I’m curious to see how the green metallic compares to the one from Essie’s winter collection!
Your favorite nail polish for Christmas
Rhinestone Red-Y reminds me of Dorothy's gorgeous ruby red shoes from The Wizard Of Oz. And Piper is such a sweetheart.
Anxious for you to review the O and J new quick dry line!
Hi Laurie!!!I I love this collection!!!I'm really happy because they are not just creams.
I like the glitters, especially the teal. I like it better than the holo from last year's collection but I'm not sure I need both!
Great review Laurie! My favs are exactly the same as your favs! I will be picking those 3 up for sure! I was totally disappointed there was only one cream! I am such a cream girl 🤣 But thanks for the great review and comparisons! xx
I was waiting for you to review and compare this collection ! 🤩 thank you, as always 🤗😘

Your swatches and comparisons are great!!!
Greetings from Argentina
I already bought this collection but was still dying to know what you thought!! 😂😂 love your videos. ❤❤
I saw a picture of this collection last week and my very, very first thought was Laurie’s gonna hate this😂
I love the light blue flakie one, I think it looks so icy, and I think it will be gorgeous in summer with a tan, also!! That is the onky one ai purchased.
So excited to see what MT as in-store for us!
I'm not a fan of this collection at all, but I'm so happy to see another video from you!! Happy Holidays!

Good picks!!

Loved the only cream in the collection. But I wish there were more of them.
I like your picks as well! I think I will pick these up for the holidays.
Love all the glitter! I love the red glitter jellyish one and tealing festive. I would pass on the rest.
I know you do mostly essie and opi. But are you going to do the mooncat hocus pocus collection? Interested in what you would say about that. Thanks
I love most of these!! Loving the frosty ones. I'm not huge on glitters. I hate the removal. Lol
There are even a few of the comparisons I want to pick up. 😁
I would lve to see the Big Gem color compared to opi germanicure.. I really live that one!
Snow holding back is a dupe of Opi Ski Slope Sweetie (Mariah Carey Colecttion) ♥️
Thanks for the lovely review I was waiting for this one even though I don’t think I’m picking anyone of them up I’m not much of a glitter or metallic person. I can definitely see some other people loving it though.😊

I think Essie twinkle in time (only came out in minis last year) would look the same as the snow on ice
Thanks for the review. I was hoping you would compare Bring Out the Big Gems to a similar one in the Orly Autumn collection so I could see what they are like together on the nail but I have bought both and the OPI one is darker.
Great review and comps as always. ❤ ❤
Hi Laurie, did you compare Feelin' Berry Glam to OPI Miami Beet? I feel they would be quite close. Congratulations on your instagram subscriptions!
I have just started the video, but I must say, as soon as I saw this collection I was super excited, but my second thought was, “Oh no! Laurie is going to be so disappointed!” 😢
Haha. So many people have said this! I need to be more open to the glitters 😀. I am so glad you are so excited about the collection though!
I’m with you Laurie, I prefer a good cream. I very rarely wear shimmer or glitter polish. I’ll be passing on this collection.
I'm not a huge fan of polishes that are pearlized, frosted or metallic looking, I like the flecks of sparkle and more subtle looks bling.
Good evening
Is The Pearl of Your Dreams the same finish as Pixel Dust from the XBox collection? Reminds me of it a bit :)
From what others have said, it seems to be, but slightly less packed with glitter and more silvery because the base it is in is so light. I love Pixel Dust!
I’m definitely not super excited about this collection. I may pick up the one creme and the green but that is probably it.
So unfair for us who dont have an insta 😪 thanks for the video anyway😘⚘️
R for give nails polish 💅
👋 hi!
Amei😍
Not a big fan of this collection! I do not like any of the metallic collections this year. Prefer more traditional colors for the holidays, that’s just my opinion.
Congrats on 100k followers on Instagram! I'm glad you mentioned it so I can go follow you there! I love your reviews, we have very similar tastes :)
