Yes, look at his haircut) Obviously he grows cannabis in there) I believe the main cannabis factory is underground. He uses strawberries to camouflage his main business!
EXCELLENT seeing such beautiful crops being produced without being drowned in pesticides and chemicals they shouldn't be. Food to feed your family without woring. good Job.
Actually no, this is the same exept he plant more plants on less space, everyting else is the same. If he doesnt use pesticides every 6/14 days all the production will be trown away. Do you see how the plants are perfect green, no dead leafs and so on, constant feeding whit minerals, nutreans and etc.(fertilizers). And theres noting bad in this, when its controled whit respected quarantine term, you protect the plants, the harvest and the soil.
The stacks are from a company called Hydro Stacker out of Bradenton Florida. The company helps you with initial setup and they have a very helpful website!
on a serious note, when i think of hydroponic I'm thinking of roots in straight water that continuously cycles and recycles through and open or closed system. this style of farming i would call vertical farming with automatic watering or self watering container farming but it's not true hydroponic. no hate or animus intended I just was expecting zero soil and a circulating watering system.
I love your video, and the place where everything is grown is so organized. I live in Texas and now we're having a varied mix of cold rain and humidity on different days. Is there anyway I can purchase a startup of vegetables like purpletop turnip greens, tomatoes, lettuce, and collard greens for growing purposes?
Thanks so much for watching! Hurricanes are tough. Basically you just have to tie down what could fly away, and pray for the damage to be low. Removing any empty containers etc helps too.
I will try to find out all of this exact information from you! It's not a large staff at all, around 5-8 total, and they don't all work at once! When we go to the farm there are usually 2-3 people there at a time.
Are you really saying in the video that hydroponics plants attract less bugs and requiring little or no chemical spray, even when most of the plants are out in the open. Great video well presented.
Abideen Ade yes! Since the soil is very minimal, it doesn’t attract as many bugs as other pests like soil does. These plants require very little in terms of pest control and they can use organic pesticides when needed. Thank you so much for watching and for the feedback!
Very good job.... Can u tell me plz... How much litter nutrients mixing water needed one tower....??? ( start planting to end of harvesting ) & how much plant's in one tower...??? Plz answer me... Thanks...
Hi! Depending on the plant type, each will fit usually around 16 -20 per tower (lettuce for example) If you contact the farm directly they will have more info regarding nutrient ratios for one tower! facebook.com/BFFWG/
We missed getting a close up of that, but basically there is a line drip that starts at the top of the tower and feeds down to the pots. Its very simple and uses very little water/soil.
Its like a peat type of dirt, and most of the vertical stands do have another type of produce growing at the bottom in a pot to catch all of the leftovers from the drip!
You can absolutely grow herbs in these same towers, I don't think they had any growing at the time of the filming. Seasonally cilantro, oregano, parsley, basil, all grow really well this way.
The Farmacy good to know. I practice Natural farming in India. I am Into production and retail both. Having hard time growing cilantro and fenugreek. Was curious to know. Though I may never adopt commercial hydroponics.
I enjoyed the video. She definitely seemed a bit rushed vs his chill love for his work. But this was still inspiring. Great work brother!
Thanks so much for watching!
This is so informative. Thank you for showing me a new place to pick my produce.
This place is definitely a great place to go in the Fall and Spring!
I could be wrong, but I have a gut feeling that Jared can grow some high quality cannabis... I don't know why. LOL
Lol that may need to be his new side business 😂😂😂
i agree and i believe he and the host will make a nice couple

Beautiful hydroponic farm tour for my interns, in this lockdown times. 💐 Thanks, sharing with them. 🙏
Thanks so much for watching! What type of interns do you have? Are you farming as well?
Good work dear
EXCELLENT seeing such beautiful crops being produced without being drowned in pesticides and chemicals they shouldn't be. Food to feed your family without woring. good Job.
Thanks so much! And we agree, such a great and healthy way to produce food that you can feel great about eating.

You should have shown how the pots were set, how the watering is done. It is very cool farm.
Nice tour. Beautiful farm.
I would like to know more about the vertical containers, Where do you get them and how are they setup.

The farmacy would loved to hear how the operation works. Number of staff etc thanks noel

In hydroponics seem all are using synthetic nutrients, then how it will be a organic farming. is it really organic farming?

They grow several types... we will have to ask exactly what kind since he didn't mention that!
@@TheFarmacy thank you. Would it be possible to ask them?
Just did! They said they use FL 127
@@TheFarmacy thanks so much.. Really appreciate it 🤗
would have liked to see how the hydroponic tower was working.

What type of media are the strawberries grown in and surprised that the solution drops to the ground ?
Its like a peat type of dirt, and most of the vertical stands do have another type of produce growing at the bottom in a pot to catch all of the leftovers from the drip!
Thank you. Happy Xmas
Coco coirs are used a lot in hydroponics as a growth medium due to their neutral PH and superior water retention.
Love your video
Thanks so much for watching! Stay tuned for more to come
Please can I ask you,can you give me a website of this farm ?I want to come and visit too please
Hi! The farm is Bekemeyer Family Farm in Winter Garden FL! They don't have a website but you can find them on Facebook.

I would say Rabbits would have a great time
Yes they would! LOL
Especially if they know how to use ladders
flat earthers call it dirt..normal people call it soil.
Haven’t heard that before 😉
