What’s your go-to device? MacBook or iPad and why?!
Is 11 inch ipad pro is good for animation?? Is it to small to work on good projects?
If you have the right apps you need, you’re in business. Personally, I’m probably going to get the larger version next round. Having more screen real estate is nice! I’d imagine for animation that would be a big plus
Going with MacBook Air 15' or MacBook pro 13'/14'
@@nanek8592 I’ve heard great things about that Air!
Good points!
Thanks!
I think I’m going for the iPad Pro. I recently had the Mac Pro. I liked it but barely used it. I felt I wasted money cause I didn’t use it much. I think I’ll be using the iPad as much as I use my phone. Which would be money better spent.
Once my MacBook Air needs replacing (probably next year), I'll be going iPad only. Even now, I'm using them 50/50 and they're both older machines. With a new iPad, I know I'm going to have the best of both worlds (with a Magic keyboard and pencil of course).
Great video! 2:43 What game is that? Subscribed!
Thank you! And the game is snake.io
I’m looking to edit videos roughly 5-15 minutes long. Macbooks and iMacs are great obviously but cost a fortune. I figured getting an iPad and adding it onto my phone bill would be an easier way to “finance” one. Would you suggest an iPad as a good choice for video editing? If so, should I wait until the new releases? The 12.9 seemed good enough for me but don’t want to wait and if I do wait, the new ones will obviously be incredibly expensive. Thoughts?
Gosh there are so many factors. How “pro” do you want to go? You can DEFINITELY create videos on an ipad. I’ve done it with iMovie, but i am also waiting for the next M-series ipad (should be out shortly) so I can use Final Cut Pro as well. Do you want to pay for Final Cut Pro? One time cost, yet pricey on a mac. I think a subscription on the ipad. Or again, use iMovie on either. Keep in mind too a iPad Pro for example with a keyboard case with the trackpad is almost the same price as a lower end apple laptop. Not to mention, storing and transferring files is just a small tad harder/more nuanced than on a mac.. but again, certainly possible. If you were really serious but wanted to save as much as you could, I have been hearing great things with the newest MacBook Airs. You can still do decent video editing on them and the form factor may be a bit easier. Obviously cheaper than the pro models. Don’t be afraid to check out refurbished units on the apple website too with a warrenty. Many people sweat by that route. Obviously don’t go it debt for this or put yourself in a tough spot, but you mentioned financing. You may be able to finance through other places like Best Buy? I know with my apple credit card, i can finance through apple.com. Haven’t done it, but an option and stuff to look into. Sort of depends on a lot of things I guess! Good luck!
You’re the best for that response man thank you!
The Ipad Pro 12.9 with the M2 chip, 8GB RAM and 512 storage seems like it’d be enough for me and my 10-15 minute video edits. A laptop would be great as well but I’d have to finance through Affirm and I’m not sure how smart that would be whereas the Ipad could easily get tossed onto my phone bill. I’ll definitely check out apple and see what they have to offer but for now, I think I’m sold on the Ipad. Waiting could be smarter since new ones are on their way but I’m impatient haha
As “laptop killer” is ipad precise enough to select micro object on its display? i mean wheter a mouse is needed? Im an ipad user, but for old model ipad
I think it should be asked the other way around. Is the MacBook precise enough? Apple Pencil is WAY more precise than a mouse cursor
Will it good to take macbook air m1 in 2025?,Will it be outdated or pro versions in near future would be better ?(for work purpose only, no editing or gaming )
As long as you have an M-Chip, I bet you are good for a while!
Thank you
Is an iPad air 5 enough for electric and electronic engineering?
can't say that I am familiar with the apps and what they need to run properly...
