VanLife in Oregon | The Best Hike in Bend

We drove into Bend on the Cascade Lakes Highway last weekend to hike Broken Top Mt., a 15 mile hike with supposedly some of the BEST views of the surrounding mountains! In this week's vlog, we take you guys along on the seven hour journey straight out of a dream!
There were wildflowers everywhere, perfectly clear creeks and views of the 8 great Volcanoes surrounding Bend! We highly recommend getting to the Todd Lakes parking lot before 6am, YES, BEFORE 6am. When we arrived at 5:15am there were already 10 cars and we were told it was full by 7am!
Bring lots of snacks, as well as a water filter to get drinking water along the many streams you will encounter, but most importantly a map! There are 3 trail intersections along the way as well as many short cut trails that could easily take you the wrong way. Its always best to be prepared!
