1926 Gimbel Brothers ZR-60 Chelsea Super-Six Restoration

Chelsea contracted with the Gimbel Brothers to produce the ZR-60 which is a rebranded Chelsea Super-Six radio. Not to be confused with the Truphonic Six which is another radio entirely. Unlike the Super-Five, the Super-Six uses RC coupling on the first two audio stages, followed by magnetic coupling in the final stage. The radio does put out some volume and as always the Chelsea quality is part of the build. We will tear this one down so the chassis can be repainted and fully assemble it again. As always we will tune in a station to show you how it all works.
