Patrick Morgan Seeing the towers up close in the movie gives you a sense of what it must have been. I just can't phantom the idea of it being a conspiracy like so many are portraying it to be. My generation hasn't seen war like it's been told and I'm way past my twenties to be in any military service. If something happens I guess my only option will be to set myself on my knees and pray.
How in the world did he balance those gigantic nuts on such a little wire?! He was so crazy! : ) It was once in a lifetime. It can never happen again. Go, Phillip!! You rock.
This must be the bravest man ever. Can't think of anything more scary thing to put myself through. I can hardly watch it on RUclips and this guy did it for real.
The bravest man ever is the Lord Jesus Christ.. He was crucified for our sins & ressurected out the grave the third day and is seated at the right hand of the Father. He's coming soon to save His people , repent of your sins and give Him your life , Your eternity will depend on it.
Debatable Cameron. No one can ever do it again because the towers are no longer there (RIP to those who died on 9/11) but they can do it in taller twin buildings Petrona Towers in Malaysia (not walking on the bridge of course lol)
@@theenemyofthearrogant4784it actually does make a difference if you look down, because your eyes cannot focus quickly enough. And he did look down at his walk

+Tom Hamoen Yes, I feel the same way. I absolutely loved the documentary. I am so glad that this movie was made, as it will give us a chance to see something inspirational surrounding the WTC. I'm afraid of heights, but I have always wanted to face that fear. I believe this film may inspire others to face their own fears. I certainly won't be walking any high wires, but I'm thinking about bungee jumping. The thought of it is terrifying to me, but also so important for me to face it. It would really mean so much to me. I may lose all bodily function in the process, but important, nonetheless. I've been debating on whether I'll have the courage to go through it. It's on my bucket list.
Good interview...fearless man! I remember when the walk happened. I went to the top of one tower once. It was scary just knowing I was there. Ate at the restaurant too. So sad when the towers fell and so sad for the lives lost. That was one horrible day! 🙏
I wonder how he reacted to the attack when it occurred. I assume that each place where he performs holds a special significance for him, like cherished memories woven into each location.
What’s crazy is that he was holding a 30 foot pole that weighed 55 lbs. obviously this must help but it’s hard to understand how! This guy is one in a million for sure!
It’s pretty amazing to watch someone do on a thin wire something I can’t do on flat ground. Like walking in a straight line, not tripping over your feet.
I just watch the movie ..wow! a true story...amazing I hung fRom buildings for years but never ever would I do that...I give all my respects to him...wow!
It been so long to see this videos I try to find this videos when it first come out I feel bad for the guy. He wanted to walk-in in. Air so bad with the world trade canter and who is going to see this videos in 2020?
Well if we was walking on the wire the moment the plane hits, he would surely fall off from the vibrations of the explosion , and prob get hit by debris on the way down..
What an incredible man.how in the world 🌎 you cross that wire between the world trade center is only God sent.no man will ever perform 🎭 👍 that feat again 😳 👏 😉. Just incredible 😲
So cute that his towers were always his playground (like best friends or son-father or son-mother relationship) yet so tragic that his towers were murdered by terrorists and Philippe couldn't even say goodbye. 💔💔
Incredible bravery.Philippe certainly had no fear of heights to do something like that.He and his friends obviously planned it very well.Philippe did have a close shave doing it,when the police officers tried to grab him.If they had,he would have definitely fallen to his death.Fortunately, they missed him and Philippe continued the act. I still think he was incredibly mad to do that, but Philippe was very confident in his ability to achieve it and so it proved.
A guy once jumped from the 86th floor of the Empire State building and survived with only a broken leg as a gust of wind blew him back in thru the 84th.
Trust me I did climb the Himalayas and died rather than walking through a rope tied Between the towers and dying a hundred times... Jesus!! is he even legal to be human😱😱
I knew this dude had to be of either the Air or Fire Astrological Group; and my prediction was correct - born August 13 - so he's a Leo. No way my Cancer self would take that first step.
He never came close to falling…!!! Are you kidding me. He was almost falling the second his foot left the building. I’m sure he won’t fall. But that doesn’t mean he’s not on the verge of falling
They did not fly a helicopter over him did they? That would be dangerous (and yes, walking on a wire between the towers was dangerous too, but no reason to make it even more dangerous).
It's relatively simple. You use a crossbow to shot an arrow that has a light string attached to it. Then you use this string to pull a stronger string over. Then you use this string to pull an even stronger string over. Rinse and repeat until the heavy wire is in place.
I wonder what Petit felt when he heard about the destruction of the towers.
Denise Eulert me too.
He was heartbroken. Much is written about this.
Maybe he was so depressed after hearing it
Denise Eulert Wonder what he felt after the Notre-Dame Cathedral fire.
Everywhere that he walks ends up destroyed. Creepy coincidence.
this guy had balls made of steel

looooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooool
Amazing just amazing pity a couple of psychos listened to binlanden and destroyed the towers for ever

The most amazing athletic feat ever accomplished! Hands down!
I was so terrified only by watching him trying to walk the wire while I knew it was a movie but it was still terrifying to watch.
You were terrified because of technical data, the height. But it doesn't really differ from walking at just 100 feet above ground

Hard to believe I was only one week old when this happened. Very few exciting things happened that year so this was awesome.
There was a spiritual dimension to this feat!
Definitely!! I thought the same.
This will always be a fascinating, amazing abd motivating story. Whatever they show on Discovery, this one act is for me The One.

It can be they just don’t want to build another twin tower

I find it funny how he was sentenced as punishment to walking a tightrope in the park for children to watch . It was three inches tall, and he fell

How did he get the wire from one building to another?
How did he get the wires across the building to the other and tie them or fasten them at b9th sides

if what he said was true talking too airport security they should have stopped him and reported him to the police
