Mr President, there’s a second super heavy coming!
i was about to say that lmao
“A second super heavy has failed the tower catch”
"Sir a second starship has hit the towers"
Called it
@@N0lly_09Ship 40 failed the belly flip maneuver
I fell like we’re not talking enough about LIQUID WATER ON FREEKING MARS!!!
As a speculative biology nerd, I am so excited for them to examine the water more. One step closer to real aliens^^
@@PLANET_ODREDS true that
THIS MEANS I CAN BRING MY SWIMMING SHORTS THERE
That means that I could heat up an MRE on mars
Can’t wait till space this week is like 20 minutes long from all the launches we’re going to have when starship is launching as much as falcon nine
Won't lie falcon 9 will probably be long retired by that time. Starship can carry 6X as much and is fully reusable. No real point in Falcon 9's unless you need an extremely specific orbit.
If SpaceX puts a radio tower on one of the towers I'm gonna cry
@@alexb-mc4jo oh god here comes the 9/11 jokes
“The two towers” hmmm where have I heard that before
Hmmm I think I remember that from somewhere, ✈️✈️🏢🏢

Oh no the Aerospace Engineers!
That's not funny man! My cat died when the twin towers fell.

Would be hilarious and kinda F'd if that were to become a reality in the not too distant future.

Next thing we know, we're gonna hear Boeing claim that starliner's RCS thrusters can melt steel
Thank you for being the best part of Mondays dude keep up the great work
I like his Space X updates so much better than others. Others are always EXTREMELY repetiative, clickbait, and just spam
The new Twin Towers (launch pad version)
i recon the flapless ship will have the first raptor 3's installed. As mentioned spacex probably used it to test the static fire stand without risking a flight ship. They could be doing the same with raptors.
lol I just got done watching all 6 LOTR/ hobbit films...this was like fate!
I think they might test raptor v3 on ship 26.
Space this week: Helping us survive mondays, one episode at a time
Curious if the chopsticks have a built in shock absorber system for the catch
yes. WAI mentoined it last week i think. the Catch Rails have one Hydraulic pin to lift them, and in total 4 Pins looking similar but internally constructed like F9s Crush Cores
Awesome, thanks for the info!

all of the comments are just 9/11 jokes 😭
No, S 26 is going to get raptor V3
How do you get all of these infos?
Public Service Announcement: There are three bots in the comments section, all with the same pfp which is a red bikini bottom. Join me in reporting these bots fellow kerbals. Fortunately they are close to the bottom which means there have been little to no interaction with them.
Edit: Oh no they're still coming, same pfp
Put ship 26 on a stand and turn it into an apartment. I got to go into a converted water tower that was three stories tall. The bottom was the kitchen and bathroom, the middle was a living room and the top was the bedroom. If I was Elon I’d build a badass place to stay when I was there.
Maybe S26 will be used for 1st testing of Raptor V3 on an actual ship?
Suggestion: To make KSP look more realistic, get the mod called "Distant Object Enchancmemts" making the sky black when looking at the sun from the mun.
Makes no sense. S26 is a a perfect in orbit tanker. If they scrap it, it would/will be the biggest waste of a perfectly good ship, nothing but extra fuel, in-orbit refueling, like a gas station for SS. They have an ace up their sleeve, And we are all curious on why 2 is in the garden.
thanks for the episode Matt.
Giant aircraft carrier arresting cables hanging horizontally and inboard from arms and tail hooks (nose hooks) mounted vertically (deployed sticking out at 45 degree angle) from rocket nose might be an option that requires less precision and has 100 years of experience and improvement.
MATTTT
You have to manipulate the ISRO footage?? Bummer. I was hoping that cat supervision was a key feature of their launches.
Day 23 of asking you to play REAL SOLAR SYSTEM the KERBAL SPACE PROMGRAM 1 Mod
Don’t worry guys I won’t make any 9/11 jokes because that’s just messed up, anyway let’s hope starship doesn’t crash into one of the launch towers.

Poor research mate. The data from the Insight lander does NOT say there IS water, merely that, given what we understand of the geology of Earth, it is possible.
Aaaaaaand 70% of the video is SpaceX again.
Because most new advances in rocketry is being done by SpaceX
@@jakfjfrgnei That is true but that's not the point, the point is that it getting tiring curvering the same company FOR 70% OF THE VIDEO and then leaving 3 or 4 minutes for some quick mentions at the end for other more interesting news. Really there should be less time given to spacex news and more to non space x news like the insight lander finding underground water, BUT AH there's not always going to be lot's of non space x space news every week meaning the video would not get over 10 minutes would it now.

@@unitrader403 Who? like seriously what Agency does not want to be mentioned by a channel with over half a million subs, the ccp?

Before they try to catch anything with those chopsticks, they should test it with a heavy booster-shaped ballast. If anything has too much give i'd rather loose a ballast than a rocket 😅
Hmm two towers. And several airborne flying machines heading straight for them… (not meant to offend anyone who lost a friend or family member during that horrible day)
Yo new video!
starship should have the ability to send drilling rigs to Mars - exploration drilling will reach that water.
Make Concorde in ksp2
He’s not gonna make KSP 2 videos again. This game is dead.

i haven't even watched the video yet. what are these comments mentioning
Why do people hate S26? Just because it’s not gonna fly?
What do you mean?! I loved the maverick status of S26.
I claim the 60 comment also keep making amazin content Matt u rock❤
They probably going to use 26 for raptor 3 but who know lol 😅
Straight to the point. Informative. Thanks!
I wonder if SpaceX has ever considered solar sails for station keeping, for their starlink satellites. Not to do it alone, but as an assist. Also, such a large constellation, with the right size solar sails each, could hypothetically assist with global warming issues?
Where to watch live launches from China on the Internet?
What did you think of Blue Origin opening up their facilities to the Every Day Astronaut ??
The way you said 'space norway' made it sound more like norwegian aliens than norway's space program
Man, without SpaceX, these vids would only be 4 mins long 😂😂

Hello!
1st
I feel like if they just put legs on the design from the start they would be halfway to Mars by now. Legs would make landing options more versatile and much more room for error. It will be cool if it works but i think a waste of what is prob a billion dollars.
Do a Concorde in ksp 2
I wonder how many takes it took to get this video so perfect? My attempts in the kitchen end in a fire🔥
Why is your profile pic a bikini bottom?!?
@@SleepyGamerPRIt's a bot. There are two more with the same pfp. You should report them with me and don't interact with them
SpaceX ran by the great catfish and I do not think people understand if he makes it work its pure random. Cool to watch and nice to see how things are going.
pretty sure elon just says "I want this" and actually good engineers give feedback and make it work, because this is actually a good rocket, but I'll have to see about the catching (I do have high hopes, because SpaceX already demonstrated precision landing with the falcon 9)
@@torfley Elon makes high level engineering decisions. He has engineers present proposals, and then just picks one. Saves months of committee meetings, and he can take bigger risks because he’s a major owner, so ultimately it’s his money on the line.
I don’t like him, but this seems to be a good process for SpaceX. I guess you can’t get annoyed with physics and sue it.
J'ai essayé de répéter le truc de la vidéo et j'ai maintenant un nouveau record : casser un vase et rire jusqu'à en pleurer🍓
How did somebody in math get to solution that legs are going to fail more likely than this mechanical steel mass monster. We are going to see very nice tinfoil wrapping stylish landings if failed :D
I mean instead of just engineering better legs: Lets take it from air with chopsticks! Like Karate Kid and Mr. Miagy! ...less crack plz.
removing legs from the booster has significant mass and complexity savings. sure its a more technically complex task to grab the booster as it hovers, but spaceX has a LOT of experience with sophisticated booster landings. Do you think a company like spaceX really would attempt something like this if they didnt think it could be accomplished? of course we could see a spectacular failure with a catch attempt, but the same can be said about nearly anything in spaceflight.
@@leezaard3944 yeah, and the Booster Landings from SpaceX worked flawlessly on the very first try... /s
@@unitrader403 hey that’s the beauty of a rapid iterative design philosophy like that of spaceX, things don’t always need to work on the first try
@@leezaard3944 eah, was just joking with the weird expectation that everything has to work on the first try, or it is not worth pursuing..
