They are great singers but the lyrics are what makes this deep and sad. Think about it,..if they were humming it,...you would think it was a happy song. Original song is not sang in a pretty voice and you can't even clearly understand the lyrics. If Bruce had a great singing voice and slowed it down a tad, played an acoustic guitar with no other accompanied instruments, it would have the same effect. Its the lyrics, it is a well written song.
After listening to this cover, I cannot seems to get satisfied with most other artists. I mean, that level of sublime voice, only a few people could achieve that effect. It's otherworldly, and I have never heard such a sensitive frequency.
