Request: Do some smart ceiling fan videos, preferably Hunter SimpleConnect smart fans since those have to do with technology, which is what I know you talk about. Those Hunter fans actually work with Amazon, Google Home and Apple HomeKit devices, and all that can be set from your iPhone or iPad, which is also what you review.
I was looking for a other option besides the nest. Will check this out

How does it work with the change in seasons? The Nest thermostat doesn’t do well with this so I have to constantly change my schedules for heating and cooling.

I’m looking into this one. But I have to install myself. Hoping it won’t be bad.
Surprised of the definition of smart in regards to thermostats and ACs. Instead of recognizing that I am away I would find it way more handy if it activates the AC above a defined temperature, to, well cool it down if it gets to warm. I don’t know, seems like a crazy idea. As our cats stay at home, even if we are leaving, I would find such a smartness really helpful.
Nest thermostat does that. I would be surprised if this doesn’t. Maybe he forgot to mention it. Seems like a basic feature.
It still has a temperature threshold but if you’re home the comfort setting will kick on.
Ecobee does that too, it kicks off AC ahead of time to meet your comfort profile settings.
@@rajeshkannan_s But only with the away feature? I want it to kick in whenever it gets to hot inside, without having to let it run the whole time.
it will do that all these smart thermostats have a learning feature so if your turning on your ac when its hot out for example it will learn that and start doing it by itself when its hot out
Does it have a night light? Similar to the nest path light ? When I walk into the hallway at night it really brightens up the hall
Great video! Was thinking of going w Nest for my smart home but leaning towards ecobee now. One thing, is it compatible with Google Home? I use Google ecosystem, not Alexa.

This version looks great aesthetically and all that. What I don't get is why should I upgrade to this from the previous generation of ecobee smart thermostat with voice control?

No don’t think so. He just knows a lot of people have them and doesn’t want to trigger them on.

The large number in the middle is showing current temperature inside the house. Set temperature is displayed in much smaller font under it.

The Enhanced version was good enough for me. I don't need any of the things the Premium version offers.

It activates any Alexa that is nearby any people watching the video. He’s just saving us all a massive headache 😂

Eco bee sucks don’t buy it. Just go on and get you a nest thermostat.
Nest is even worse. Honeywell is better than either one.

@@ntclpz8227 Both are good, I personally have nest as I use mostly Google products and it's really nice, and simple to control but eco bee comes with a lot of extra features to save energy and money.
Ecobee is way better, especially with HomeKit. Just installed 6 of these new Premium ones.
