The Sweet were never quite the same when Brian and Steve
quit the band. Now no longer with us. Hang on in there Andy,
    keeping "Sweet" alive.

I disagree Andy doesn't keep alive Sweet.
Andy was the person who broke the original group and he only keeps alive his name but not Sweet's name

Brian, Mick and Steve the only ones

I’ve been a fan since the mid-70’s. IMO, the magic was a combination of all four of them. When Brian left Steve and Andy couldn’t handle the lead vocals themselves as well as doing backups. They needed another Brian. Brian and Steve were amazing, trading vocals on songs like “No you don’t” and “Solid gold Brass”.
Andy’s Sweet seems to have done well but they never got the same lead vocals as Brian and Steve with Mick and Andy.

They were the "Real Fab Four". They still are. The young people appreciate SWEET in thier context of professionals who give us all Great music Great story tellers in their music lyrics sound Think there is a new saying " You don't get the SWEET, meaning for people who are nor that focused. Andy looks exhausted. They probably just got off the tour bus after driving all night. It’s too bad Brian wasn’t able to get his health and vocals in order to rejoin the group. Maybe then they could get Steve back.

well, I`m not sure about that.
But I do know that Brian left in 1978,and then rejoined with the entire
original line up in 1990,which was not a succes.
This clip from 1985 is only Andy and Mick from the original Band.
At that time Brian found three musicians from Birmingham and called
    it BC`s Sweet.
    All the best

When Sweet rejoined had not success because Brian's voice was not the same quality but the problem was Andy and his lack of humanity for that reason Brian could not stand Andy from the very first time he arrived to Sweet

Was Andy talented??? Nooooo, talent is more than play the guitar or bass it is the ability to have emotional intelligence so that the only talent has Andy is to profit from the name of Sweet.

Respectfully, what was Andy supposed to do, stop working because Brian decided to destroy himself? This version of Sweet was an absolute machine and, IMO, a real return to form for a band who had completely lost their way in the final years of the classic lineup.

Boy, I didn't know Mick Tucker was so personable, the best guy a band could have. He holds the interview together, Andy Scott looks so moody and sullen. From an outside point of view it appears that Andy blames Brian for letting the band down with all that heavy drinking just before they were going to move into the next level of the big leagues-the Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin level.

FRANK SROBOTNJAK not at all Frank. Andy couldn't stand Brian and did what he could to get rid of Brian. Try to find the last interview Brian did before he died, it's a real eye opener about Brian's & Andy's relationship. It confirmed what I always felt, Andy was extremely jealous of Brian.
