u should do a tierlist on where to build your own bases like with the custom base builder mod, lot of unique places like the tower outside freedom outpost in yanov
Playing Gamma, I built my base in outskirts. Up in the apartments you would normally have to walk across the vines to get up to. It's cozy, and out of the way, which I like. I don't like to be too close to the traders because it feels like the place isn't my own. It's also got an unobstructed rooftop view of outskirts. I put a tent and campfire up there and sometimes I found myself just sitting up there at night looking at the moon, listening to the sounds of the zone. It has one major downside. That is since there is no walkable path npc's can take to get to the location, if you're being hunted by other stalkers they actually walk up the outside walls of the building to get onto the roof.
The military base at Cordon does have a trader, he's located on the second floor to the left of the entrance. He has the same prices as Sidorovich. I would say this brings it up to D or C tier. UNISG has a mechanic by the name of Maus at the Jupiter Underground entrance. Pretty sure that when you play as Sin there's also a mechanic by the name of Dazhbog in the Red Forest mine. You also didn't mention the Train Depot and the Flea Market at Garbage, which are pretty good. You also completely forgot about the base at the farm in Darkscape. The location of that one makes it F tier alone, but it has a trader and a mechanic and it can be useful, should you make the mistake of going to Darkscape. You should've researched the bases a little more...
Rostok bar have similar spread of traders as military, don't understand the hatred 😅 Military have couple free rooms in main building to transform into your own hideout
my classics are always rookie village/clear sky base to start if i am loner/clear sky. then move to rostok for the mid game, or early game if i am starting as duty. then move to yanov station for the late game.
How about doing the best hideout locations(aka best places to furniture with the stashes workbench etc) Its a bit overlap with this video theme, but still i think its a good idea
My personal list : 1. Zulu's tower (Jupiter) Very comfy and feels personal with trader reasonably close. A must stay during my non Duty/Military/Monolith playthrough. 2. Garbage Train Station Or more exactly the small tunnel right in front of Butcher. A nice base for early game area. 3. Darkscape Sawmill Very good if i wanted to stay somewhere out of way but not too dangerous. 4. Red Forest Tunnel, beside road to Limansk. Usually i stayed here if i reached Red Forest approaching nighttime. Ain't no way i'm going thru there even with Exoskeleton, too spoopy. 5. Jupiter Factory front buildings. I just found out that this place are relatively safe since mutant spawns are generally low tier ones while hostile stalkers never ventured to upper floor. None of these are safe from bounty squads tho, so get used to mining the path to your hideout.
ok very informative but is that a damm protogen vtuber on my recommended ah no matter you will get your like for being a furry and a dislike for being a vtuber now final verdict like for playing stalker
Love your videos! Idea for next one. Ranking and comparison of all scopes/sights. I have not unlocked most of them yet but would be nice to see it all. I hate idea of buying sights just to test it and load last save to try different one
Checks out. Rostok and Jupiter were my go to places for a base whenever I was playing a faction that could setup base in these locations. The Merc base in Dead City is a saviour when it comes to UNISG runs as well :)
ISG or Renegade? I've always met Loners there. I belive the technician and trader are also loners. I even sell him some guns early game, as he's the only loner trader in the south to buy/sell them when playing with black market. .-.
For sale: Stalker Anomaly game files With a distinctive selection of mods The amount included in the game is 5.5 million Russian rubles All shields and radiation shields A number of army helmets in full condition A selection of distinctive weapons in full condition All food, drink and cigarettes For sale .. for a negotiable price
The freedom base in army warehouse definitely deserves to be at least in A tier, the location is almost the best middle hub connecting all maps. Compared to Rostok there are quests, which you can finish in the same map as well as farming mutants or artefacts. Besides, this base is the best one to defend zombie waves, if you play survival mode.
Freedom base is S tier for early-mid game Loner run imho (as soon as you can deal with radiation). Always some random fighting for free loot early on, awesome farming with mercs, bandits, military, Monolith and Sin, a lot of quests between Freedom, Duty, Ecologists and Loners. Also music selection is much better for my taste than Rostok.
I know you made a "best suits" video for Gamma but what would you think of making a suit tier list? Put all light repair kit suits into a tier list, then medium, heavy, exo. Then helmets?
- Truck Cemetary: i don't know there is a base until now! - Outskirts Monolith: i clean up there everytime.... Finally i have two base both in the s tier, nice place to live.

Thats Zulus place. Even if he isnt there physically, hes always there in spirit
I use that spot almost every playthrough
The vine anomaly in outskirts apartment and the limansk basement before the monolith outpost are the best in my opinion

He does this every video it seems lmao always leaves stuff out
Either he forgot or maybe he haven't been in the Zone long enough.
Oh my god, I absolutely died laughing when you shot the protogen and did that quick cut away.. Was not expecting that, 11/10!
You also forgot the little loners camp in the Darkscape, similar to the bandit camp in the truck cemetery - therefore I'd also put it into D tier.
nobody realy goes to darkscape, unless there is a gold stash there
@@gabrielmarques5992 That's why tier D, he still forgot it...
You can throw red forest sin into F tier but without it doing Monolith run would be obnoxious.

Do you have to repair gear all the time in this game
Butter brands tier list when
Rostok earl-mid game Zaton for late game to farm chernobyl

oh, I thought this was gonna be about best places to build a hideout (in GAMMA), but it should be an interesting watch regardless
2:32 Don't trust anyone, not even yourself.
The unhinged protogen disliking Freedom definitely wasn't on my bingo card for this one
Player bases next. Radar #1

Military base in Cordon does have a trader in in the room next to the machine gunner.
you forgot the darkscape farmstead, which counts as a base if you play ISG or Renegade. it has a general merchant, technician, and bed.
