Why do grown men cross themselves and kiss their wrists etc when going on the pitch. You never see a brickie. Or a barman etc etc when they go to start what they get paid for. So stupid
@GillGDundee I'd love to know how you've established that claim. For decades I've heard nothing but negativity about it, both anecdotally and in the media. I'm sure some do love it, and I'm sure some just accept it because it's been established as the national anthem, but we should be able to do better.
